The Challenge To recruit a control systems engineer with an extensive knowledge of Controllogix and RSView to form part of a team responsible for a warehousing project.
The Solution Due to the ongoing skills shortage in the engineering industry and the urgent nature of the project, we recommended an interim solution. We supplied Rockwell with a handful of CVs, one of which was a candidate with an extensive background in Controllogix, and who had previously worked as a contractor for Rockwell on several large projects. As a result of the recommendations given from the candidate’s previous manager, an interview was not necessary and the role was offered the following day. The quick and efficient turnaround time when filling this role has since resulted in us making over 20 placements with Rockwell Automation.
