A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT Hello Wrangler NFR Fans! Welcome to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo® when Las Vegas goes country & Western for 10 fabulous days and nights. Not only is it the biggest and best rodeo in the world, but we like to think of it as a festival because there are activations everywhere you turn in Las Vegas, now the sports and entertainment capital of the world. This Dec. 7-16 will be another ultimate NFR experience on many levels, and we are successful because of you, the fans! Each year, our goal is to make the NFR Experience the best it can be. For 38 amazing years, Las Vegas and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association have partnered to grow and evolve the greatest show on dirt and one of the longest running sporting events in Las Vegas. A stunning streak of 360 straight sellouts will remain intact this year at the venerable Thomas & Mack Center, but we don’t want anyone to be left out. That is why we, along with our resort partners and sponsors, continue to add an array of fan activations in and around the Thomas & Mack Center and throughout Las Vegas. Keep Your Tickets Handy The Wrangler NFR utilizes both printed souvenir "hard" and mobile tickets. If planning to use mobile tickets, for ease of access, we highly encourage saving the mobile ticket(s) to your digital wallet prior to arriving at the Thomas & Mack Center. Please be aware a screenshot or printed copy of the mobile ticket will not be accepted. You can prevent ticket theft by not sharing your barcode via social media or text.

TRANSPORTATION

Parking is available but very limited. The preferred method of transportation is the NFR Express, the official shuttle bus of the Wrangler NFR, from one of our sponsor hotel properties to the Thomas & Mack Center. Please visit NFRexperience.com for the complete shuttle route and schedule.

METAL DETECTORS

At the Wrangler NFR, the Thomas & Mack Center will utilize metal detectors at all entrances. This feature will provide an additional safety measure for all rodeo fans attending the NFR. Please arrive a few minutes earlier than normal to navigate through this process.

NO SMOKING

Smoking is now prohibited on the UNLV Campus and at the Thomas & Mack Center. There are no smoking areas in or around the arena.

RIDESHARE

The Rideshare pick up and drop off location will be in the Scarlet Lot to the south of the Thomas & Mack Center, adjacent to the parking garages. There will be directional signage and a walkway leading to and from the area.

Every year we pride ourselves in bringing you what you expect and many new experiences to share with our rodeo fans and guests. At The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas, you will find more than 700,000 square feet of show floor and 400+ exhibitors from across the United States – all of which means a lot of choices for you! While there are other trade shows in town, our goal is to deliver a one-of-a-kind cowboy experience at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There are several notable additions in 2023. In order to provide additional space for our attendees, The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas has expanded into Central Halls with the development of Junior World Finals Rodeo & More. The custom-built Wrangler Rodeo Arena will host the future of rodeo for ten consecutive days at the YETI Junior World Finals. These amazing cowboys and cowgirls are 19 years old and younger and compete in bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, breakaway, team roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing and pole bending. Back in the South Halls on both Levels 1 and 2, the renovation of the Las Vegas Convention Center is nearly complete. With additional room on Level 2, the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage and Ranch Water Rodeo Saloon have been moved upstairs. You’ll want to check this out as we’ll have four live programming elements each day. These include Live with Lucia at 10:30 a.m., followed by Conserving Country with hosts Brandon Bates and Shane Minor at 11:30 a.m. Outside The Barrel, hosted by the one and only Flint Rasmussen, will bring the “Who’s Who” from all areas of the Western lifestyle starting at 12:30 p.m. The RMEF Calcutta will move to later in the day in 2023, starting at 1:30 p.m. Level 2 of the South Halls will continue to provide a fun and festive atmosphere. The Cowboy Christmas Village presented by Clint Orms will feature Santa, a Cowboy Kissmas arch and several other holiday photo opportunities. Also featured on the Level 2 are award winning Cowboy Christmas exhibitors, coupled with RMEF’s Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo and Bites & Brews with new food vendors to satisfy any appetite. On Level 1, the all new Cowboy Channel Stage will host the NFR Tailgate Party to keep things rolling in preparation for each Wrangler NFR performance. This festive area will include Christmas trees, daily appearances by Santa Claus from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and an area for kids to write a letter to Santa and drop it in a special mailbox. In addition, there will be photo walls to share your experience with family and friends. The show features more exhibitors and merchandise, guaranteed to keep even the most avid shoppers entertained. The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas and the all-new Junior World Finals Rodeo & More will occupy more than 700,000 square feet of show floor and features 400+ exhibitors. These exhibitors offer unique products and are set up to display and sell to the thousands of rodeo fans during the ten days the Wrangler NFR is in town. In addition to the exclusive retail offerings and interactive experiences provided by The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas, rodeo fans also have access to the following service: TAKE A FREE RIDE! Rodeo fans looking for transportation to and from the Wrangler NFR will have the option to utilize the complimentary shuttle bus service – the NFR Express – with routes to the Thomas & Mack Center from the Las Vegas Convention Center and 26 NFR official sponsor hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown.

Junior World Finals Rodeo & More CENTRAL HALL

Check out all the action in the Wrangler Rodeo Arena. There will be qualifiers and finals in nine events (with various age groups per event): bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, girls and boys breakaway, pole bending, team roping, tie-down roping and barrel racing. There are more than 800 entries in the YETI Junior World Finals.

This is high-spirited competition with the best youth rodeo athletes competing for more than $1 million in cash and prizes and the coveted championship buckle.

Daily admission is $10. For $40, attendees can purchase a five-day pass for the dates of Dec. 7-11 or Dec. 12-16. Access to the Priefert Platform will be $20 per day all ten days of competition. Admission is based on seating availability.
