Dear Wrangler NFR Fans, Welcome ‘Back in Vegas’ for the 2021 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo®.

We are proud of our 36-year partnership with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and are both committed to growing and evolving Las Vegas’ longest-running event. The Wrangler NFR has recorded more than 330 consecutive sold-out performances at the Thomas & Mack Center. These sellouts would not be possible without our contestants’ year-long commitment on the road and the support of rodeo fans like yourself.

There is only one time a year that Vegas completely transforms itself.

That is the first ten days of December. In 2021 you can expect surprises in and outside the Thomas & Mack Center to add to your lifetime of NFR memories.

One element that makes the NFR special in Las Vegas is the commitment from more than 20 sponsor hotels to make and create new NFR Experiences. This year we will make it seamless for you to discover and customize your experiences. The NFR has become a 10-day country Western festival. In the Fan Guide, you will find comprehensive schedules for Wrangler NFR 9-5, Wrangler NFR After Dark and Entertainment Around Town. You will also find maps of the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown to assist you in getting around and discovering what has become known as the NFR Experience.

When you attend the Wrangler NFR at the Thomas & Mack Center, we invite you to check out the ProRodeo Zone, live music in Cowboy Corral and the new Aces High – Saloon & Exhibit, a fully-themed Western hospitality and interactive space that also features a Strip-view pavilion and an entry from the northwest end of the arena.

During the day, we also invite you to explore The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas, located inside the South Halls at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition to the ultimate shopping experience, the area includes live entertainment, autograph sessions, a rodeo arena, saloon, interactive booths, rodeo exhibits, NFR Central presented by Resorts World Las Vegas and more. At Cowboy Christmas, It’s All Here!

In addition, the YETI Junior World Finals will be held inside the Wrangler Rodeo Arena at Cowboy Christmas and will run for ten consecutive days. Youth contestants will compete for titles in nine events, including bull riding, team roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway, saddle bronc riding and bareback riding.

While the greatest rodeo competitors in the world chase the coveted gold buckles, we invite you to share in the Western heritage and experience everything that Las Vegas and the Wrangler NFR has to offer.

You may also purchase NFR Access Only tickets by visiting NFRexperience.com or calling the Box Office at 866-388-3267.

Keep Your Tickets Handy

The Wrangler NFR utilizes both printed souvenir "hard" and mobile tickets. If planning to use mobile tickets, for ease of access, we highly encourage saving the mobile ticket(s) to your digital wallet prior to arriving at the Thomas & Mack Center. Please be aware a screenshot or printed copy of the mobile ticket will not be accepted.

TRANSPORTATION

Parking is available but very limited. The preferred method of transportation is the Teton Ridge NFR Express, the official shuttle bus of the Wrangler NFR, from one of our sponsor hotel properties to the Thomas & Mack Center. Please visit NFRexperience.com for the complete shuttle route and schedule.

METAL DETECTORS

Beginning this year at the Wrangler NFR, the Thomas & Mack Center will utilize metal detectors at all entrances into the venue. This new feature will provide an additional safety measure for all rodeo fans attending the NFR. Please arrive a few minutes earlier than normal to navigate through this process.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS

The Wrangler NFR, PRCA and Thomas & Mack Center align with Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and State of Nevada for all COVID-19 protocols. The current state of Nevada mandate requires all patrons to wear facial coverings while inside the Thomas & Mack Center and on the Teton Ridge NFR Express shuttle buses.

Back in Vegas! Since 1985, the world’s best rodeo contestants have traveled to Las Vegas to compete for fame, riches and gold buckles. For 10 days, the Wrangler NFR takes over the “Entertainment Capital of the World” as the city welcomes the contestants, their families, friends and fans to Las Vegas. The Thomas & Mack Center lights up each night as more than 17,000 enthusiastic rodeo fans cheer on their idols in the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world.

Held in December each year, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is a legendary rodeo experience that grows with each passing year. This Dec. 2-11, the most elite athletes in rodeo will be on display on the sport’s biggest stage. Who will earn the coveted ProRodeo Gold Buckle this year?

At The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas you will find more than 450,000 square feet of show floor with more than 350 exhibitors from across the United States – all of which means more variety for you! While there are other trade shows in town, our goal is to deliver a one-of-a-kind cowboy experience.

Here at The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas, you can watch the future of rodeo compete for the coveted Montana Silversmiths Championship Buckle and $1 million in cash and prizes at the YETI Junior World Finals, taking place inside the Wrangler Rodeo Arena. Our professional producers of nine different events hold qualifiers throughout the year represented in more than 30 States and three countries. These cowboys and cowgirls are 19 years old and younger and compete in bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, breakaway, team roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing and pole bending. With General Admission and VIP seating for more than 1,000 fans, come see and cheer on the future of rodeo!

Our LVE team continues to bring new and exciting experiences – and 2021 is no different. The Wrangler Rodeo Arena, Bites & Brews presented by Total Feeds, Santa, and more than 35 new Cowboy Christmas exhibitors, coupled with RMEF’s Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo, will take over the second floor throughout the duration of The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas. Bites & Brews will offer all new vendors to satisfy any appetite while offering ample space to enjoy the live feed from all the action of the YETI Junior World Finals.

The Ariat Rodeo Live Stage has undergone a complete renovation and will begin each day with the RMEF Calcutta. Famously hosted by the one and only Flint Rasmussen, “Outside the Barrel” will bring the “Who’s Who” from all areas of the Western lifestyle. The talented Shane Minor, who has gone from a bull rider to country music artist and now one of the most sought-after song writers in Nashville, will host his show – Cowboy Revival. The Cowboy Channel NFR Tailgate Party will keep things rolling in preparation for each Wrangler NFR performance during their 2+ hour high energy show.

THINGS TO KNOW From December 1-11, The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas is back again and better than ever! This year’s show features more exhibitors and merchandise, guaranteed to keep even the most avid shoppers entertained. Held inside the South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Cowboy Christmas occupies approximately 450,000 square feet of show floor and features just under 350 exhibitors.These exhibitors offer unique products and are set up to display and sell to the thousands of rodeo fans during the ten days the Wrangler NFR is in town.

Cowboy Christmas is always free and open to the public, with hours of operation set at 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Dec. 1 and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily from Dec. 2-11. In addition, RMEF’s Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo again will be co-located upstairs in the South Halls from Cowboy Christmas.The show will operate for the full ten days again in 2021.

Located within Cowboy Christmas, fans also will be able to enjoy a number of interactive experiences. Elements include the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage, Ranch Water Rodeo Saloon, Wrangler Rodeo Arena, NFR Central presented by Resorts World Las Vegas and NFR After Dark presented by Community Coffee. Back by popular demand is Bites & Brews presented by Total Feeds, featuring custom food carts, beverages and more.

The RMEF Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo is the ultimate experience for outdoorsmen and women. Located in the South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center and upstairs from Cowboy Christmas, the expo coincides with the ten days of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Admission is free and open to the public.

There will be qualifiers and finals in nine events (with various age groups per event): Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Girls and Boys Breakaway, Pole Bending, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping and Barrel Racing. There are more than 800 entries in the YETI Junior World Finals.

Daily admission is $10. For $40, attendees can purchase a five-day pass for the dates of Dec. 2-6 or Dec. 7-11. Access to the Priefert Platform will be $20 per day all ten days of competition. Admission is based on seating availability. All proceeds will become “added money” for each event.

There are several new programming elements this year on the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage, so make sure to check out the schedule. The daily programming kicks off each day with the RMEF Calcutta.
