Application of PMBOK Principles and Performance Domains in a Solid Waste Management Project Introduction Project management plays a fundamental role in achieving successful outcomes in social, environmental, and organizational initiatives. The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI), provides a modern framework based on principles and performance domains that guide project managers in delivering value, engaging stakeholders, and responding effectively to project challenges. This approach is consistent with the value-oriented framework proposed by the PMBOK Guide Seventh Edition (Project Management Institute, 2021).
