In previous years, the PAF has hosted their wellness retreats in Santa Barbara, CA, New Orleans, and New York City but with the need to switch to virtual our 2020 Virtual Wellness Retreat hit new limits. This 3-day event covered new topics of wellness to impact not only the player but also his spouse. day 1:

We always secretly build our programs with both current and former players in mind. Creating a culture of wellness benefits all of us. Introducing alternatives to wellness practice like yoga, meditation, journaling, self-evaluating can be beneficial for all of us.

Former Player Chapter Scholarship

$144,835.00 TOTAL: The NFLPA Former Player Chapters identified & awarded 91 high school students in their chapter communities.

Charitable Giving

Andre Collins with The Motivational Edge founder, Ian Welsch. The PAF provided a $15,000 donation to this Miami based solutions focused 501(c)(3) youth development organization that leverages culturally relevant arts and other platforms to engage, educate and empower young lives. Since 2018, the PAF has contributed $30,000 to their growth.

In 2017, the PAF created an opportunity for former and active professional athletes across the major leagues to engage with the community’s youth through art.
