



The NFBPA, a professional membership organization dedicated to the advancement of Black leadership in the public sector, was founded in June 1983 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over the years, its membership grew to include managers and executives in virtually all disciplines represented in state and local governments. In addition to public service professionals, the association's membership embraces graduate students, deans, and faculty at schools of public administration, community service professionals, and executives in the corporate sector.

TheAutismSpeaksWalkistheworld’slargestautismfundraising event,dedicatedtoimprovingthelivesofpeoplewithautismand theirfamiliesthroughadvocacy,research,services,andsupport.
TheSouthFloridaChaptershowedupinunity—walkingtogether, raising awareness, and contributing to a cause that aligns with ourvaluesofequityandsupportforvulnerablepopulations.
By participating, we also honored families and public servants whoworktirelesslytoprovideservicesandresourcesforchildren and adults on the autism spectrum.
