WELCOME FROM THE CEO

I N S I D E E D I T I O N 45 • S E P T E M B E R 2026

Dear Readers, Since trade first existed, business has been built on a simple principle: one party provides something of value, another acquires it, and both benefit from the exchange. In many ways, this value exchange remains the purest expression of business. Over time, industries have added layers of complexity around this fundamental act: organisations, networks, agreements, services, data and technology. All play an essential role. But ultimately, business becomes tangible when a transaction takes place. For NEXUS Automotive International, developing stronger transactional capabilities is therefore not a departure from the traditional role of an international trading group. It is a natural evolution of it — and a key part of the Group’s ambition to become a true value-creation ecosystem. This ambition is reflected in a strategy built around four strategic paths: inter mediation, transactional activities, data and innovative investments. Together, they allow NEXUS to connect market players, create new business opportunities, improve efficiency and generate value for its community. The creation of SmartParts in November 2023, together with the development of DR!VE+, marked an important step in this direction. By combining sourcing, product development and collective scale, these initiatives help support the growth of N! and its members. More recently, Partivia has brought the same logic to the consolidation of purchases among European members. The first results are already tangible: optimised purchasing, greater collective leverage and stronger compliance with NEXUS Suppliers. These initiatives may take different forms, but they are driven by the same conviction: a community becomes stronger when collaboration translates into concrete business. They show how NEXUS is moving beyond connection alone to create platforms, solutions and opportunities that deliver measurable value. The aftermarket is changing quickly. Scale matters. Efficiency matters. Alignment matters. Yet the fundamentals remain unchanged. Business starts with people choosing to work together. It grows when interests are aligned. And it becomes real when value is exchanged. By strengthening its transactional capabilities, NEXUS is moving closer than ever to that essence — while building the foundations of a broader value-creation ecosystem for the future.

INSIDERS - TRANSACTIONAL ACTIVITIES

GOING TRANSACTIONAL: INSIDE SMARTPARTS A NEXUS member places an order. A part leaves the warehouse. Simple? Only from the outside. Behind every SmartParts transaction is a chain of choices, risk mitigation and responsibilities: the manufacturing partner selected, the terms negotiated, the demand forecast, the stock financed, the goods moved, the brand protected. More than 35 people work every day to make that complexity disappear for NEXUS members.

SmartParts at a glance ● More than 35 people working behind the transaction

● More than 100 distributors for DR!VE+ in 55 countries

● Deploying DR!VE+, the global aftermarket brand exclusive to NEXUS members and more than 40 Private Labels in more than 80 countries

● More than 1,200 potential plants evaluated to select 95+ approved manufacturing partners

● 12 product categories and more than 11,500 P/Ns managed (DR!VE+ in Europe), 30,000+ P/Ns developed for Private Labels

● 96%+ average service level in 2025 (DR!VE+ from EDC in Poland)

24

PASCAL POPIS Chief Executive Officer When SmartParts was created to be the transactional arm of NEXUS, what was the main challenge? Turning a network into a trading company. NEXUS connects members and suppliers brilliantly and creates great value. Our job is different: to own the product, the terms, and the delivery. That means everything a network does not need, but a trader cannot live without sourcing, stock, credit, logistics, accountability. The challenge was never the idea. It was building a real trading company that keeps the promise NEXUS made: to be closer to its members and more focused on preferred and strategic suppliers. What is SmartParts’ scope exactly? We manage “end to end”. Two offers, one operation. DR!VE+ is the global aftermarket brand, exclusive to NEXUS members. For those who want their own name on the shelf, we build and supply their private label - more than 40 of them today. Both run the full chain, from sourcing to delivery. The member chooses the badge; we carry the load.

I N S I D E E D I T I O N 45 • S E P T E M B E R 2026

INSIDERS - TRANSACTIONAL ACTIVITIES

What does SmartParts actually mean for a member day to day? It is one partner to simplify ten separate challenges. A member no longer has to source a supplier, negotiate conditions, manage the shipment and carry the risk alone. They get one relationship, one standard, and one point of accountability. It is not simply a list of contacts, but a simpler way to trade. We become the member’s eyes and ears on the ground in the factories. Are you competing with NEXUS preferred and strategic suppliers? Not at all. NEXUS’s preferred and strategic suppliers stay central to the network. SmartParts plays on different grounds: cutting members’ dependency on unlisted suppliers. That is where the opportunity lies, with far more to consolidate than we can cover in years. We also source some product categories directly from NEXUS approved suppliers - batteries or chassis for example. And our shareholders are NEXUS and NEXUS members, so we share their interests.

How do you see the future challenges of the company? We have done the proof of concept. Customer satisfaction is the strongest signal that the model works. The next challenge is conviction: turning observing members into active buyers, and first orders into repeated habits. North America is also opening major opportunities. Building the right momentum in this vast new market is the next major step, starting this year. If the transaction ends with a part delivered, it begins much earlier, with the choice of the right supplier. 

“The challenge was not the idea. It was building a real transactional company and gaining the trust of our members.”

26

NICHOLAS RUSS Chief Procurement Officer Where does a transaction really begin? It begins long before a member places an order, with the manufacturing partner selected months or years earlier, and with a clear understanding of what each market needs. Sourcing is SmartParts’ first promise, and every subsequent action after depends on it. Only when sourcing is right can the rest of the chain perform. What are you actually looking for in a manufacturing partner? Three factors matter above all. First, product expertise. Our manufacturing partners need deep knowledge of the product and the processes, backed by solid R&D and a fully integrated laboratory. Innovation is key when SmartParts must answer different customers with different performance requirements. Innovation in the process itself keeps costs competitive and quality under control. Second, responsibility. They need to think like us. We trust a partner to manage their own quality, so attitude is everything: how they engage in audits, action plans and new product development, and how they work with us day to day. I N S I D E E D I T I O N 45 • S E P T E M B E R 2026

“Sourcing is SmartParts’ first promise. Every subsequent action depends on it.” Third, competitiveness. It goes beyond price. Finding a lower price is easy. We look for companies that have built cost reduction into their daily habits and can deliver year on year without letting anything else slip. Holding that standard is rare: we evaluated more than 1,200 factories over nine years to select the 95+ partners we rely on today, with fifteen people dedicated to it, alongside the lines we now source directly from NEXUS-approved suppliers. How does buying for 80 countries change the equation? It turns a purchasing into a portfolio. SmartParts consolidates member demand across the world and turns that combined weight into better conditions than any single member could obtain alone. That is another value we bring: scale that no members have individually put to work for themselves. Members experience it through better pricing, broader ranges and stronger commercial leverage. As each market is different, we develop and launch product lines to match local members’ needs. Once the right products and manufacturing partners are in place, the next challenge is turning trust into repeated orders. 

INSIDERS - TRANSACTIONAL ACTIVITIES

STEVEN ZIMMER Chief Operating Officer Members already have suppliers they know. Why should they trust SmartParts? That is the central question. NEXUS members are not looking for another supplier or another brand. SmartParts earns trust by being simpler and safer than the multiple relationships many members manage today, especially with unlisted suppliers often specialised in just one or a few product categories. Trust is not given only because SmartParts is part of NEXUS. It is earned order by order, when what was promised is exactly what is delivered. That is what moves a member from curiosity to commitment. How do you actually build that trust? It starts with getting the first order right. Not necessarily the biggest order, but the first. A member may test SmartParts with something small, and everything behind the scenes — sourcing, stock, terms and delivery — must work flawlessly. Repeated performance gradually changes the relationship. Moreover, the NEXUS community is rich in members of every size: at SmartParts they all get the same consideration, commitment and care.

How big is the commercial footprint today? The footprint is broader than many members realise. SmartParts trades with more than 100 distributors across 55 countries, and that’s just for the DR!VE+ brand. Each new member joins a network already moving volume every day, across markets that may be similar to their own or entirely different. This is proof that the model works, and it creates leverage that flows back to members through better conditions and operational experience. Our team is growing to meet this. We have just hired Ricardo Duran, an experienced business development director for Europe, with one target: supporting members. After the order is won, the promise moves into the delivery, where availability, speed and discipline decide the member experience. 

“Trust is earned order by order, when what we promised is exactly what turns up.”

28

HUBERT SLOK VP Supply Chain What were the supply chain priorities when SmartParts was created? The first priority two years ago was to establish a consistent service level at a higher standard. The result: a 96% service level on average from our European Distribution Center in Poland in 2025, a performance we are maintaining in 2026. Holding 96%+ consistently is a complex process, requiring a deep understanding of our customers, their order patterns and their logistics needs. How do you actually strike the balance between inventory level and service level? With data, not instinct. SmartParts analyses what moves, where it moves and how fast, then positions stock against real demand. The team also anticipates rising demand by analysing car parc data. Fast movers are held closer and deeper; slow movers are managed more leanly or brought in to order. Demand shifts constantly across countries, so the balance is continuously adjusted. It is not a one-off decision, but a discipline.

I N S I D E E D I T I O N 45 • S E P T E M B E R 2026

Is your logistics model built to evolve? Today the SmartParts set-up serves 80 countries. Tomorrow it has to serve more, with new products and new geographies, so we design it to stretch, not to be rebuilt. We keep improving the current model for efficiency while preparing it for our commercial dynamic, geographic expansion and product development. Behind that operational flow sits another invisible engine: the financial structure that keeps the model working before the cash comes back. 

“We manage the supply chain with data, not instinct.”

INSIDERS - TRANSACTIONAL ACTIVITIES

CÉCILE DIDRY Chief Financial Officer What challenges are you facing in this transactional activity? The same challenges every Financial Director among our customers faces. Cash flow, of course, though in our model it stretches across continents. But the harder ones are the moving targets: demand that keeps shifting and growing more complex, a range and a footprint that expands every year, and the discipline of funding all of it from our own performance. A transactional business only stays healthy if it generates the means to build its own future. That is the real challenge, and it is the same one NEXUS members live every day. Where is the hardest financial pressure in the model? The pressure sits in the gap. SmartParts pays its manufacturing partners long before NEXUS members pay us. In between comes the lead time, shelf time and the payment terms members expect. Every step needs cash before cash returns. That stock is cash in physical form: paid for months earlier, it turns back into money only when a NEXUS member orders and pays. The warehouse

“The same discipline every NEXUS member knows: turn cash flow into the means to grow.” is not just logistics; it is a large volume of our capital, standing still. That is why finance and supply chain are part of the same conversation. Members expect generous payment terms. How do you square that with paying manufacturing partners upfront? By carrying the risk for them. NEXUS members want to maximize their payment terms, so SmartParts bridges the months between paying its manufacturing partners and being paid. We absorb the lead time, currency exposure and credit risk, so members trade on comfortable terms without the strain underneath. And when the product reaches the market, the brand must make the promise visible, recognizable and worth repeating. 

30

STÉPHANE FREITAS Chief Marketing Officer DR!VE+ is exclusive to NEXUS members. Isn’t a brand supposed to be everywhere? Exclusive does not mean small. It means owned. DR!VE+ is the only global aftermarket brand that our members’ competitors can’t access. It is not simply another label on the shelf, but a brand built for NEXUS members and reserved for them. In this case, exclusivity is not a limit. It is part of the value. How do you keep one brand consistent across 55 countries? You fix what never changes and let the rest breathe. The promise is the same everywhere: OE-matching quality, one standard, one look, one name. What adapts is the conversation. A workshop in Greece and a distributor in Thailand do not sell the same way, so the tools flex. So do the mix, the ranges, and even the product lines. The brand does not. That is how you stay

global without going generic: one promise, delivered to every NEXUS member in the way that answers their own needs. What makes a brand actually transactional, not just a logo? A logo creates recognition. A brand creates reorders. For DR!VE+, that means the part in the box must match the promise on the box, every time, in every country. Marketing opens the door, product quality keeps it open, and range does the rest: DR!VE+ today covers more than 50% of a garage’s needs, with 90% average coverage in key categories, and it keeps growing. That is what moves us closer to a true one-stop shop. 

“Exclusive does not mean small. It means owned.”

Six voices, one story: behind every SmartParts transaction is a chain of decisions, risks and commitments made visible only when everything works. For NEXUS members, the result is simplicity. For the team, it is the daily discipline of making a complex model work. Together. I N S I D E E D I T I O N 45 • S E P T E M B E R 2026

ROBERTO ROGGEBAND, COO, Partivia

PARTIVIA: BEYOND BUYING THE REAL POWER OF WORKING TOGETHER The automotive aftermarket is entering a new era. While this transformation is global, its impact is particularly evident in Europe. Although Europe benefits from a Single Market, its aftermarket remains fragmented, with different distribution models, customer behaviours and competitive dynamics across countries. A clear consolidation trend is reshaping the industry. Large distribution groups are gaining scale, suppliers increasingly manage their business from a European perspective, and traditional one-to-one commercial relationships are reaching their limits. In this changing environment, competitive advantage no longer comes simply from negotiating better prices or short-term rebates. The companies that will succeed are those capable of working together more effectively: sharing knowledge, simplifying processes, coordinating strategies and creating value across the entire supply chain by operating leaner and faster. PARTIVIA was created as NEXUS Automotive International’s answer to this situation. Rather than simply aggregating purchasing volumes, PARTIVIA - NEXUS’ dedicated

trading structure - gathers leading independent distributors together in a coordinated European procurement platform. It combines local market expertise with the scale of a shared ecosystem, enabling members to collaborate where it creates value, while preserving flexibility to serve their individual markets. The ambition is to move from isolated negotiations to strategic partnerships that generate sustainable value for both distributors and suppliers. In just a few months, the initiative has demonstrated that closer collaboration across European aftermarket leaders can generate measurable business value while laying the foundations for an entirely new way of working together. PARTIVIA is not simply about buying better. It is about working better together, and generating added value for members as well as suppliers. •••

From Vision to Reality The project has evolved from concept to implementation.

Sašo Breznik, Purchase Manager GMT During the first months of cooperation, Partivia has demonstrated a structured and transparent approach to developing supplier partnerships. We appreciate the open communication and believe the initiative has the potential to create additional value for both distributors and suppliers in the long term.”

Dr. Christian Schäferbarthold, Owner Schäferbarthold We are very pleased with our partnership with Partivia. By joining forces with other wholesalers, we have found an effective way to present a unified front in the market. This collective approach has allowed us to secure advantages and purchasing conditions that we simply would not have been able to achieve on our own.“

PARTIVIA is much more than a new procurement initiative. It reflects a new mindset for the European aftermarket - one built on collaboration, trust and shared ambition. As the industry continues to evolve, success increasingly depends on the ability to create value together, rather than to compete in isolation. PARTIVIA is laying the foundations for that future, strengthening the NEXUS ecosystem and demonstrating that cooperation is a real competitive advantage. PARTIVIA is ready to welcome new members that share the same values and the vision. Prospective members must be ready to share data and contribute with flexible purchasing to support collective assortment decisions. By combining greater volumes with longterm planning, the expanded membership will help strengthen overall commercial terms and create additional value for the entire PARTIVIA ecosystem. Building Trust Before Scaling The three-year roadmap has been deliberately designed as a gradual transformation. 2026 focuses on building trust, starting a first round of alignment of key commercial conditions and demonstrating early value through simplified agreements and harmonized soft terms. This allows members to play on a even terms while unlocking growth potential. These first steps will create the foundation for deeper cooperation in the next phases,

INSIDERS - TRANSACTIONAL ACTIVITIES

where coordinated sourcing, common growth strategies and increasingly integrated procurement activities will bring even greater and deeper benefits. Creating Value for the Entire Ecosystem The strength of PARTIVIA lies in combining capabilities rather than simply combining purchasing volumes. By sharing best practices, coordinating supplier relationships and reducing unnecessary complexity, members can improve working capital, streamline inventory management, simplify commercial negotiations and free up resources to focus on business development and local market penetration. The philosophy is simple: Competitive advantage in the future will not come from buying better. It will come from working better together. PARTIVIA is designed to generate benefits for all stakeholders. ● For members, it delivers stronger commercial conditions, operational efficien-

cies, improved cash flow and access to broader growth opportunities. ● For suppliers, it provides a more structured and transparent European interface, reducing complexity, simplifying negotiations and enabling long-term business planning. The objective is to create new value through collaboration, efficiency and shared growth. Partivia key figures The article may reference selected achievements to demonstrate the project’s momentum, including: ● More than €1.2 billion of purchasing scope already within the initiative, heading to €2 billion, when including the wider product assortment ● A solid and widespread network of 17 participating members, increased from the 13 initial founding members ● M ultiple supplier agreements already implemented, with more under negotiation. ● Measurable improvements in payment terms, warranty conditions and inventory management, also having the clear effect of reducing internal costs. 

Working with PARTIVIA is a real asset for our company. Roberto’s knowledge of our business and the challenges of the automotive parts market enables him to conduct effective negotiations on key strategic issues such as payment terms, warranties, return policies, and stock cleaning terms. Beyond his expertise, it is the concrete results he achieves that truly make the difference. PARTIVIA is a true and pragmatic partner whose approach is perfectly tailored to the realities of our business.”

CHINESE CAR BRANDS ARE QUIETLY RESHAPING EUROPE’S AUTOMOTIVE AFTERMARKET Chinese car brands are no longer a marginal phenomenon in Europe. Their market presence is now becoming structural, especially across the five major European automotive markets: Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. In the G5 countries, Chinese brands now account for 9.5% of passenger car registrations in early 2026, compared with 6.3% in 2025. The growth is not homogeneous: Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom are already in double-digit territory, while France and Germany remain in an earlier stage of adoption. As these vehicles enter the parc, the European after-sales ecosystem will need to address parts availability, technical-data access, diagnostic capability, high-voltage training, warranty rules and the role of authorised versus independent repair channels.

The core strategic question is therefore simple: how ready is the aftermarket to service, repair and support a new generation of vehicles built around different industrial models, electrified architectures and software-enabled service logic? The latest G5 figures show a clear acceleration in the penetration of Chinese brands. The United Kingdom leads the group with 14.9% of registrations in early 2026, followed by Spain at 14.2% and Italy at 13.5%. France and Germany remain at lower levels, but their current position should not be interpreted as structural immunity. Rather, these markets may still be in the prepa•••

ration window before parc effects become more visible. The rise of Chinese brands introduces new business models, new technical architectures and new organisational patterns that may challenge the way the European aftermarket currently operates. Key opportunities - The parts ecosystem Many Chinese vehicle manufacturers operate with a higher level of vertical integration than traditional European OEMs. Batteries, electric motors, electronic systems and even semiconductors may be designed and produced within proprietary industrial ecosystems. This model can create efficiency at manufacturing level, but it raises important challenges for the aftermarket. Technical references, part codification, homologation processes and component specifications may not always be aligned with established European aftermarket practices. For independent parts manufacturers and distributors, building an alternative parts offer may therefore become both a technical and commercial challenge. Supply continuity The Chinese vehicle parc in Europe is still relatively recent, but pressure points are

already emerging. Delivery times, catalogue completeness, commercial conditions, return policies and obsolescence risks are all critical factors for the after-sales market. The challenge is amplified by logistics flows that are still developing across Europe, limited availability of equivalent IAM parts, and a continued dependency on supply chains that remain partly located in Asia. Stock management becomes particularly complex as model ranges expand quickly and vehicle lifecycles accelerate.

Repair access Access to repair and maintenance information is one of the most strategic issues for the independent aftermarket. In Europe, Regulation (EU) 2018/858 requires vehicle manufacturers to provide independent operators with access to vehicle OBD information, diagnostic tools, software and repair and maintenance information on a non-discriminatory basis.

•••

40

However, operational reality can still be complex for new entrant brands. Access to technical repair data, diagnostic protocols and software updates may be partial, fragmented or dependent on specific commercial processes. Proprietary diagnostics, over-the-air updates and connected services can create an information asymmetry between authorised networks and independent repairers. Electrification A significant share of Chinese models sold in Europe are electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. This increases after-sales complexity through battery systems, thermal management, power electronics, ADAS, connected services and software-driven components. Technicians need high-voltage certification, dedicated tools and specific diagnostic capabilities. At the same time, questions around battery lifecycle, repairability, replacement cost and end-of-life management remain only partially stabilised in Europe. This creates opportunities for specialised players, but only for those who anticipate the shift early enough. Implications for aftermarket stakeholders The penetration of Chinese brands creates different priorities depending on the stakeholder position in the aftermarket value chain. The following matrix summarises the main areas to monitor.  Contact GiPA: communication@gipa.eu I N S I D E E D I T I O N 45 • S E P T E M B E R 2026

SEAMLESS TRANSACTIONS: POWERED BY REAL PEOPLE A seamless transaction may seem straightforward: find the right product, place an order and receive it as expected. In reality, it depends on several elements working together – and knowledgeable people ready to step in when standard routines aren’t enough. Simple by design For distributors and wholesalers, frictionless transactions begin with easy access to accurate information. Products must be simple to identify, ordering channels intuitive to navigate and availability clear. A relevant product range must also keep pace with evolving market demands, ensuring businesses deliver without unnecessary delays or complexity. When these fundamentals are in place, purchasing teams spend less time fixing administrative issues and more time supporting their customers.

Confidence built into every order A transaction is only truly seamless when customers have complete trust in what they receive. Consistent product quality, thorough validation, correct documentation and full Type Approvals eliminate friction across the supply chain. This confidence is critical, from the initial product search to installation. It empowers distributors and wholesalers to recommend and supply products knowing that all essential technical and regulatory requirements are fully met. •••

24 HOURS OF LE MANS: A GLOBAL SHOWCASE FOR INNOVATION AND PERFORMANCE Every year, the 24 Hours of Le Mans brings together the world’s leading manufacturers, technology partners and motorsport enthusiasts for one of the most iconic endurance races in the world. In 2026, the event attracted more than 350,000 spectators, confirming its status as one of the biggest race in the world and a global showcase for innovation, performance and mobility solutions.

For TotalEnergies, Le Mans is much more than a race. The event welcomes around 60,000 visitors to the TotalEnergies booth in the Fan Zone as well as 1.300 partners, and guests in its hospitality, creating a unique opportunity to engage with customers, partners and fans while demonstrating the Company’s expertise across mobility and energy solutions.

As the official fuel supplier of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), TotalEnergies plays a key operational role throughout the event. During the race week, teams distribute approximately 280,000 litres of fuel to the 62 competing cars while ensuring strict sporting fairness and quality control. More than 150 fuel conformity analyses are carried out using chromatographic technologies capable of •••

verifying the precise “fingerprint” of the fuel supplied to competitors. These controls are performed alongside FIA officials throughout the championship to guarantee consistency and fairness for every team. The 24 Hours of Le Mans also highlights the long-standing collaboration between Peugeot and TotalEnergies with Team Peugeot TotalEnergies. Working closely with Peugeot Sport engineers, TotalEnergies contributes its expertise in lubricants and fluids to support performance, reliability and efficiency in one of the most competitive environments in motorsport, including engine oils, greases, coolants and transmission fluids. Among the many technologies developed through this collaboration, TotalEnergies has developed a prototype engine oil designed to maximize engine performance while withstanding the extreme demands of endurance racing, including very high operating temperatures and stringent viscosity requirements. Another example is the tailor-made battery developed through TotalEnergies’ subsidiary SAFT for Team Peugeot TotalEnergies. Specifically engineered to meet the car’s technical, packaging and weight constraints, the battery uses an immersion cooling fluid developed by TotalEnergies’ research centres. These developments illustrate how endurance racing serves as a demanding

technological laboratory for innovation. Vehicles are subjected to extreme thermal and mechanical stress for 24 consecutive hours, generating valuable insights that continuously challenge and advance technical solutions. Innovation remains at the heart of this commitment. Since 2026, TotalEnergies has supplied all FIA WEC competitors with Excellium Racing evo, the championship’s official fuel. Linked to 100% bio-circular feedstocks through a mass-balance approach and certified ISCC PLUS, Excellium Racing evo combines high per-

formance with a lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions reduction of at least 65%* compared with its fossil equivalent. Developed from residues and waste streams, it illustrates how endurance racing can accelerate the development of more sustainable mobility solutions. More than a sporting event, the 24 Hours of Le Mans demonstrates how innovation, technical excellence and teamwork can come together to shape the future of mobility while delivering performance at the highest level.

* In line with the methodology defined by Directive 2018/2001 on the promotion of renewable energy, as amended by Directive RED III (2023/2413), Excellium Racing evo enables a reduction of at least 65% in greenhouse gas emissions over its entire life cycle compared to its fossil equivalent.

VALEO REMAN: DRIVING CIRCULARITY FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS Reman, a pillar of Valeo’s strategy With four decades of remanufacturing expertise, Valeo stands at the forefront of the circular economy, offering a sustainable alternative to new parts. This expertise is a key pillar of Valeo’s “RED” strategy, which is built around three growth drivers: Reman, EV, and Dragon. ●R is for Reman: leveraging Valeo’s expertise and one of the broadest portfolios of remanufactured products. ●E is for EV: building on Valeo’s leadership in electrified solutions, with one in three new cars worldwide equipped with Valeo technologies. ●D for Dragon: supported by 30 years of OE excellence in China, positioning Valeo as a leading aftermarket partner with more than 2,500 part numbers. Giving parts a second life Instead of producing new components from raw materials, Valeo gives used parts a second life.

By reusing up to 80% of the original material, Valeo’s process preserves valuable resources and significantly reduces industrial waste. Each component is disassembled, cleaned, repaired or replaced, reassembled and rigorously tested. The resulting component performs as good as new, and backed by the same warranty. Valeo’s Life Cycle Assessment results confirm the benefits of remanufacturing, showing up to 60% CO₂ reduction for a remanufactured starter compared with a new one, while maintaining the same performance and reliability. Core deposit model The Reman process is supported by a simple core deposit model, where workshops pay a surcharge that is refunded once the used part is returned. Returns are free with a minimum of 15 units. Moreover, the Valeo REMAN Partner Program was launched in January 2025, •••

rewarding partners with exclusive events, personalised support, and enhanced collaboration opportunities. Latest range extensions Earlier in 2026, 105 new remanufactured starters, alternators and compressors expanded Valeo’s coverage by 22 million vehicles, and continued to grow. FTE Automotive, a Valeo Group brand, also recently expanded its remanufactured brake caliper range with 246 new references, reaching 3,041 references and covering 94% of the European car parc. Partslife Award At the Partslife Congress in Vienna on 23 June 2026, Valeo received the Partslife Award for its remanufactured dual wet clutch, initially developed for the DQ250 gearbox, which is fitted to some five million vehicles in Europe. It offers workshops a 25% saving versus a new part, while recovering 90% of the component’s original mass. A signal that remanufacturing is moving into increasingly complex technologies and that it is here to stay! 

EVERY TOUCHPOINT IS A TRANSACTION NOW How the workshop customer journey became a chain of digital moments A booking used to mean a phone call and a diary entry. An approval meant waiting by the phone, hoping someone would pick up. A status update meant no news until the car was ready for collection. Today’s customer expects something else entirely: a visible, trackable chain of moments from initial contact to final vehicle pick-up. The aftermarket transaction has changed shape, and the shift matters more than the technology powering it. One continuous digital process Booking, approval, repair, and communication - once separate manual events, handled at a counter or phone line - now operate as a single connected workflow. This is the core value behind

ZF [pro]Manager as a digital front desk. It provides a central platform where every touchpoint, booking through the shop’s website or Google, WhatsApp approval, a proactive status update, happens automatically. A customer books online at 10pm, approves a repair by tapping a link sent to WhatsApp, and receives a status update before even thinking to ask. Every step leaves a data trail, and every data trail builds trust. The AI voice agent extends the front desk The newest addition to the front desk experience answers the phone itself, and takes the interruption with it: every incoming call used to pull a mechanic away from the walk-in customer, or the car in front of them. •••

58

The AI voice agent built into ZF [pro] Manager picks up every inbound call, day or night, holding a real spoken conversation rather than offering a menu of options. It recognises vehicle makes, models and service requests, checks live workshop availability, and books appointments directly while the caller is on the line. A missed call at lunchtime, after hours, or during a busy Saturday used to mean a lost customer. Now, these missed opportunities rarely happen. From transaction data to business decisions For distributors and workshop groups, this shift goes deeper than mere convenience. Every digital transaction, booked online, approved by app, or handled by voice, becomes a data point. Hosted on European infrastructure and built for multi-market deployment, ZF [pro]Manager turns day-to-day operations into decisions built on evidence, not instinct. Captured transparently, and with the customer’s consent at every step, it is the difference between a workshop that plans ahead, or simply reacts. The aftermarket is no longer just selling repairs. It is selling frictionless transactions, one call, one approval, one update at a time. Which is, in the end, exactly what a digital front desk is for: always open, always booking. 

Simplifying aftermarket transactions through strong partner collaboration

As a premium brand of MANN+HUMMEL, a global filtration expert, MANN-FILTER strengthens its transactional activities through close collaboration with distributors, workshops and business partners. High product availability, a comprehensive portfolio, technical expertise and customer-focused service help partners simplify listing, ordering, logistics and sales activation across the automotive aftermarket. A current example is the market activation with NEXUS around MANN-FILTER products using lignin-based impregnation. By integrating plantbased raw materials into selected air and oil filters, MANN+HUMMEL delivers more sustainable solutions while maintaining original equipment (OE) quality, unchanged part numbers and seamless logistics for distributors. “For us, it was decisive that the lignin-based filters are not only more sustain-

able, but also deliver the same performance and OE quality at an unchanged price,” says Ying Luo, Director of Sustainability and Information Technologies at NEXUS. “The seamless integration without changes to part numbers or logistics is a clear advantage for our partners.” With 85 years of filtration excellence, MANN-FILTER continues to combine tradition, innovation and transactional efficiency. One example among many is FreciousPlus, the biofunctional cabin air filter launched specifically for the aftermarket in 2014. It later became a new industry standard, even in the original equipment (OE) sector. This ability to bring innovation successfully into the market shows how MANN-FILTER creates practical solutions that are easy for partners to access, integrate and sell – and ready for the future of the aftermarket.

As one of the world´s leading filtration brands, we have been doing a lot for years to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible. With immediate effect, we are partially replacing the previous crude-oil-based impregnation used in many of our air and oil filters with the plant-based raw material lignin – a natural product that originates from wood. The new filter generation looks slightly different from the outside, but the high performance in OE quality remains the same! Best of all, you don´t have to choose the environmentally improved range. BREMBO AT AUTOMECHANIKA FRANKFURT 2026 AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO MOBILITY SOLUTIONS

Innovation, sustainability and global coverage come together in a full aftermarket & upgrade offering designedfor every vehicle. AT AUTOMECHANIKA FRANKFURT 2026, BREMBO RETURNS WITH A CLEAR MESSAGE: THE FUTURE OF THE AFTERMARKET LIES IN A BROADER, MORE INTEGRATED VISION OF MOBILITY. Across the exhibition, the company will present a complete aftermarket & upgrade offering that reflects the evolving complexity of mobility today. From passenger cars to commercial vehicles, from motorcycles to bicycles, from light commercial vehicles to the latest electrified platforms, the Brembo Group’s range is designed to respond to a wide spectrum of applications and markets, supported by a strong global presence across Europe, the Americas and Asia & Pacific.

COMPLETE OFFERING

INNOVATION

SUSTAINABILITY

Solutions for every vehicle.

Technology that sets the standard.

A responsible choice for the future.

What defines this approach is the combination of breadth and depth. Alongside a renewed caliper range, Brembo continues to expand its portfolio of discs, pads and brake fluid, most of which are developed and manufactured in-house. This industrial integration allows the company to maintain consistency in quality, performance and reliability across different product lines and vehicle segments.

Innovation remains a constant thread throughout the range. Brembo discs benefit from advanced high-carbon materials, UV coating and the company’s patented Pillar Venting Technology (PVT); while the entire pad offering is copper-free, reflecting both performance needs and regulatory evolution. These technological choices are progressively extended across the aftermarket portfolio.

Environmental consciousness also plays an increasingly central role. Brembo continues to anticipate the direction of upcoming Euro 7 requirements, working to reduce brake emissions while preserving performance. With the Greenance family, now expanded to include brake fluid and at same time dedicated solutions such as the EV KIT address the specific characteristics of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, from corrosion resistance to noise reduction.

The dangers behind apparent bargains What are counterfeit and gray market products?

These products may:

Counterfeit products are fake replicas of unknown origin and reliability. They can lead to serious vehicle malfunctions and pose significant safety risks. These fake parts are designed to closely resemble original Knorr-Bremse Components, making them difficult to distinguish at first glance. Gray market products are genuine products but sold outside of the official Knorr-Bremse distribution channels. They are often offered for applications or within regions for which they were not originally specified. Customers are sometimes deliberately mislead about the product properties and may be confronted with components that do not function properly. Often such products are being sold with incorrect packaging.

Cause serious vehicle malfunctions and pose safety risks. Fail to comply with safety regulations and type approvals. Feature incompatible hardware or software versions. Trigger malfunctions, warning lights, and require additional maintenance efforts.

Potential consequences for actors in the market: Safety Risks Counterfeit and gray market parts - especially in braking systems - pose serious safety threats. Malfunctions can lead to accidents, including fatal ones.

Legal Consequences Buyers and sellers may face legal action for trademark infringement or attempted fraud. Even trying to claim warranty on fake products can backfire.

Loss of Vehicle Approval Using non-compliant parts can void your vehicle’s certification.

Financial Liability If a product fails, the buyer may bear the cost or face distributor liability for damages caused to customers.

Stay safe – Buy smart! Counterfeit products have become increasingly sophisticated, making them difficult to identify at first glance. To ensure safety and performance, always make your purchases through official Knorr-Bremse distribution channels.

Fake or original?

Often only small deviances, incorrect packaging, or a red light in the QR code scanning indicate a gray market or counterfeit product.

Knorr-Bremse will not tolerate any violations of its intellectual property and contractual terms. Knorr-Bremse is determined to use all legal opportunities including warning-letters, cease-and-desist declarations, preliminary injunctions up to lawsuits and claims for damages and product destruction.

A price too good to be true is often not a good bargain!

If you're unsure about a product’s authenticity, contact your local Knorr-Bremse Sales Office for guidance.

Engineered by KYB, Trusted Worldwide In every part of the automotive aftermarket there is increasing pressure from vehicle complexity, customer expectations, supply chain demands and intense competition. As a result, the most valuable supplier relationships are no longer built solely on product availability or price. They are built on trust, expertise, support and a shared commitment to business success. At KYB, we see partnership as extending far beyond the transaction itself. Our role is not simply to supply products, but to help our customers create value throughout the entire buying and selling process.

1

Delivering Confidence Before the Sale

Every transaction starts with confidence in the product being purchased. As one of the world’s leading original equipment suspension manufacturers, KYB supplies shock absorbers fitted to millions of vehicles globally. The same engineering expertise, manufacturing standards and quality processes used in original equipment production form the foundation of our aftermarket products. However, maintaining this level of quality requires continuous investment. KYB boasts over 100 years of hydraulic expertise, and such longevity requires innovation. Using our purpose-built 580,000-square-metre testing facility in Japan and utilising advanced testing technologies

such as computer simulation and artificial intelligence, the company is able to analyse vast quantities of vehicle and suspension data more accurately and efficiently, supporting the development of future suspension technologies and further improving product performance. This commitment to innovation gives distributors confidence that they are purchasing products backed by genuine engineering expertise, rather than simply sourcing a component based on price alone.

2

Supporting Better Buying Decisions

The lowest purchase price is not always the lowest business cost. Distributors understand that product failures, returns and customer dissatisfaction can

ultimately cost far more than any initial saving. This is why quality, reliability and supplier support have become increasingly important factors in purchasing decisions. The benefit of this investment extends throughout the supply chain. Fewer failures mean fewer warranty claims, fewer returns, less administration and greater customer confidence. For distributors, that translates into stronger customer relationships and improved profitability. Whether supporting a distributor in Europe, Asia, Africa or the Americas, KYB’s objective remains the same: to deliver products and support that customers can trust.

3

Creating Value After the Transaction

A purchase order should not mark the end of a supplier relationship. One area where KYB places particular emphasis is supporting customers after the sale. With an established global sales and warehousing network, KYB customers can benefit from sales support, marketing support, technical support alongside the industry leading customer service and logistics offering. KYB’s reach will soon expand further into new emerging markets, giving these high growth areas access to the same support enjoyed by our current supplier network. These resources may not appear on a price list, but they provide genuine commercial value.

4

Helping Customers Sell, Not Just Buy

The aftermarket’s most successful partnerships are those that help both parties grow. At KYB, this means supporting customers

with more than products and technical information. It means helping them communicate the benefits of quality suspension components to workshops and vehicle owners. Suspension is often overlooked until a problem develops, despite its critical role in vehicle safety, handling and braking performance. Through technical training, educational content and marketing support, KYB helps customers explain these benefits more effectively, enabling informed purchasing decisions rather than pricedriven decisions. KYB’s educational content even expands further than our current supplier network, for example this month our Mexico branch is providing a suspension seminar to one of the biggest mechanic schools in Central America.

5

Creating Value After the Transaction

The automotive industry continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace. Electrification, advanced driver assistance systems, changing vehicle architectures and increasing customer expectations are creating new challenges throughout the global aftermarket- but those challenges actually become opportunities for those manufacturers and distributors equipped to deal with them. Addressing these challenges and opportunities requires more than products alone. It requires collaboration. For KYB, this means combining world-class manufacturing, continuous innovation, technical expertise and customer support to create value throughout the entire buying and selling journey.

Brands of AUMOVIO

AUMOVIO Aftermarket at Automechanika 2026:

ATE and VDO together as a strong brand duo for the first time At Automechanika 2026, AUMOVIO Aftermarket GmbH presented itself with a new trade fair appearance: For the first time, the two traditional brands ATE and VDO were in the spotlight together – no longer under one umbrella brand, but as independent brands with strong solutions for the mobility of today and tomorrow. Visitors saw a booth that made the competencies of both brands tangible and at the same time offer an outlook on the future of the independent aftermarket. The focus was on innovative products, practical solutions for workshops and the consistent focus on modern vehicle technologies. ATE: 120 years of innovation in braking technology A special highlight at the booth was the 120 th anniversary of ATE. Since 1906, ATE has stood for safety, quality and technical innovation in the field of brake systems. This important anniversary was celebrated at Automechanika. ATE also set strong accents on the product side. The most important innovations include: • ATE MK 100 – the first complete ABS/ESP brake control system from ATE in the independent automotive aftermarket. • ATE FB 5evm brake bleeding device – the new, batterypowered solution for flexible use in workshops as well as on mobile service assignments. • ATE New Original for electric vehicles – the expansion of the portfolio of the product line specially tailored to the requirements of modern electric vehicles, which supports workshops in the professional maintenance and repair of the growing electric vehicle fleet. With this portfolio, ATE once again underlines its claim to support workshops not only with high-quality spare parts, but also with innovative service and workshop solutions.

VDO: Strong return to Automechanika Automechanika 2026 marked a special moment for VDO: the brand was represented at the leading trade fair for the first time in a long time. At the booth, visitors were gaining a comprehensive insight into the current VDO product portfolio for the independent aftermarket. The focus was on the new VDO battery range, with which the brand is expanding its range in a targeted manner and offering workshops a high-performance solution for the growing demand in the field of vehicle energy supply. In addition, VDO was presenting its wide range of products and system solutions that stand for quality, reliability and comprehensive vehicle expertise. Working together for the aftermarket of the future With the first joint appearance of ATE and VDO, AUMOVIO Aftermarket GmbH is sending a clear signal: Two strong brands are pooling their expertise to offer workshops, trading partners and industry experts innovative solutions for the challenges of a changing mobility world.

Everybody loves winners. Except the competition. Discover our test-winning tyre range for the winter season. Repeatedly rewarded German engineered safety. Did you know that our tyres have received top ratings in independent tests on a regular basis for more than ten years? And this continuous success is really not a coincidence, since we always put maximum effort and passion into every single product. These results make us proud and at the same time motivate us to continue working successfully in the name of driving safety. So that you can rely on us, when others rely on you.

Compatible with electric vehicles

What’s the difference between winter, summer and all-season tires? Summer tires: best performance in warm and dry conditions Summer tires have a dedicated rubber compound that delivers excellent grip and handling on both dry and wet roads in warmer conditions. They also have reduced rolling resistance and therefore provide greater fuel efficiency and generate less road noise. The tread pattern on a summer tire is more streamlined than a winter tire, with fewer grooves for water clearance, maximizing the contact patch with the road. Consequently, the vehicle has superior traction and braking during summer months. However, these same characteristics – the specialized summer rubber compound and the tread design optimized for high-temperature performance– make summer tires unsuitable for winter driving conditions. When the temperature drops below 7 degrees Celsius (45 degrees Fahrenheit), the compound becomes hard and brittle, and the tread design can’t adequately handle snow or ice. Winter tires: maximum grip on snow, ice and cold roads Winter tires provide outstanding grip on road surfaces covered with snow and ice, as well as wet roads in cold conditions. The tread compound of a winter tire contains more natural rubber, so it doesn’t harden when the temperature drops below 7 degrees Celsius. Instead, it stays flexible and limber in cold climates to reduce the stopping distance when braking. The tread design has deeper blocks that will dig into snow and ice to provide more grip. The winter tire also has a lot of sipes and grooves, which are excellent for clearing water and slush from the path of the car and mitigating the risk of hydroplaning. Winter tires shouldn't be used for the summer season, however. The compound is far too soft for warmer temperatures, meaning it will wear out quicker and it will not provide the same grip. All-season tires: a balanced option for mild climates An all-season tire combines characteristics of both summer and winter tires, offering a hybrid solution with the benefits of both. For drivers, living in regions with mild winter conditions (temperatures rarely drop below freezing), all-season tires can be an alternative. Continental all-season tires offer safety and premium performance. In addition, drivers can save money and time, and reduce the effort required for seasonal tire changes. But always remember that summer and winter tires are specifically tailored to the relevant conditions. If you are unsure about the right tire choice, please contact your local dealer for personal advice.

Fast facts

Seasonal tire checklist When the seasonal temperature falls below 7 °C (46 °F), it's time to switch to winter tires. Winter tires perform well in all cold weather conditions, ranging from snow and ice to wet and cold dry roads. When seasonal temperatures climb above 7 °C (46 °F), fit your wheels with summer tires. Summer tires deliver high grip levels on wet and dry roads, high stability in curves, and optimal mileage performance at warm temperatures. All-season tires offer safety, performance, and grip in moderate climates without the cost, effort, and time required for seasonal tire changes.
