The Nextview Fairytale

Dear colleagues,

Another year is coming to an end, a year full of adventures and surprises. Near the end of this year a special chapter began, the story of Mooza and Nextview. What the real story is going to be is written in the stars, but one thing is sure, it will be epic.

In the meantime we wrote these chapters all together: here you find the Nextview fairytale. It’s a magic story of Mooza and Nextview written by all of us.

We want to thank all of you for your great job, effort and what we all achieved together.

Have fun while reading our magic fairytale, we are better together!

Once upon a time…

There were two men.

One lived in the Netherlands, The land of cheese and flowers, One lived in the Czech Republic, The land of beer and superpowers.

They came up with a great idea and felt incredibly proud, They started doing business with a fluffy white Salesforce cloud.

The cloud was large and could do many, many things, It all depended on what each person brings.

CHAPTER I

A woman is sitting outside a crowded cafe, Wooden glasses, short dark hair and drinking a latté.

She saw the two men walked pass by, A Dutch man walking his dog, looking pretty shy.

A Czech man with his cat on his shoulder, Who of these guys might be older?

The woman feels familiar with that setting, She is looking at them and started sweating.

“I know them both!”, she is thinking out loud, “They are talking again about this cloud!”

She has seen them before in Prague at Salesforce Live, They spread their excitement about the new joint adventure, what a drive!

So the woman shouts ahoj, that’s ‘hello’ in Czech, Only one of the men turns to her with his neck.

The Czech man turns over smiling full with joy, “Aah, it’s the woman! How are you? Ahoj!”

She looked at him and said: “you know me from your past”, And was approaching him very fast.

She gave him a small bottle, inside something blue, With an unknown mysterious liquid brew!

He looked at the bottle, trying to hide, And asked her attentively: “What’s inside?”

The woman looked suspiciously at the bottle and said, “Take a sip, you’ll find out. It will be mad.”

Drinking the bottle, he moved into mysterious land, He noticed a Genie! “Where will that end?”

Right after the Genie, Astro and Codey appeared, With a touch of Einstein and his grey bread.

They felt it was true, And everything turned blue.

The clouds came close, And they fell into those.

The Dutch man appeared and shouted: “Hey, what about me?!”

His dog appeared dressed in a golden hoodie.

Einstein noticed the golden hoodie worn by the man’s dog, Asking the dog: “Nice Golden Hoodie! Can I buy it in a catalogue?”

“Hello friend, we haven’t met, have we? I went to a prom in San Francisco and stole it from a guy called Marc B.”

Einstein responded horrified: “This is not in line with our B-Corp or Ohana values”, he said, mortified. “Your lead score will fall”, he continued, “and will not be anymore qualified.”

Turns out it was only a joke, But it didn’t suddenly appear out of smoke.

“It was honestly earned with a lot of hard work”, Said the dogs’ boss with a smirk.

CHAPTER II

They all landed on a mountain trail, Climbed the Ranks from Scout to Ranger.

Looking for a way to fail. Not looking out for any danger.

Right behind a green big bush, It came out with a loud swoosh: “I’m the exam passing score”, A little bitch came with a loud roar.

“Haha, you look like Accenture, But Nextview is the better adventure!”

The Dutch man thought: “God please avoid, Next thing behind a bush might be Deloitte…”

And suddenly they heard a big bang behind them all, It sounded that someone had made a fall.

They looked around and waited for the dust to clear, When they saw what happened they froze and in their eyes you could see the fear.

A tiny young consultant cat had tried and fallen into the Sharing and Visibility trap. “Oh no they screamed! You have forgotten to always test your code in production, o crap!”

Here comes advice from an experienced cat, Who is an expert in sharing rules and seems to be always having a nap: “Don’t forget to add the profiles to your change set, Otherwise your Users in production will be very upset.”

The young consultant was afraid on how to deploy swiftly with ease, quality and no errors on the go, Luckily no reason to worry because the Elves prepared a gift box containing the magical CI/CD super product Copado.

The young consultant opened the gift, but it still did not deploy.., “Select the right metadata”, said the Elves, “you will learn it, boy!”

Isn’t that very difficult, asked the consultant? He was a bit afraid to use this nice shiny new resultant.

Know what! Let’s just select ALL the metadata, And push it to prod! You only live once… hakuna matata!

CHAPTER III

After pushing this all to prod, he had a random coffee break, And while discussing this with his colleague, it turned out to be a big rookie mistake.

This sounds like a mission for Deployman, Everyone knows that he always has a plan.

Because he is the superhero for f*cked up implementations, But this time it would require some beer supplementations.

But hey, who cares about implementation when there is so much to explore, Should we not rather build a house, Or leave for the world through the door and follow the path of the mouse?

Our little gray friend is back in Amsterdam, He wanted some more of that lovely ham.

URVE is the target that provides the bonus we can make, But these mice are eating through the profit that was supposed to buy Nextview a nice cake.

Let’s hope the mice do not make more material short, So, we can also start the build of our new DTC in Frankfurt.

It will be hard for outsiders to understand these 3 and 4 letter words, But they are just as important as knowing about the mice and the Eindhoven birds.

Opening fancy offices in Central Eastern Europe also sounds like a plan, They might not go under the same 3 letters, but they can still be awesome men!

They shouted: A nice and cozy fireplace in these offices is the main thing we need, This will make the Central Eastern Europe offices our favorite place to meet.

Netherlands and Germany where the story started, Poland and Czech the access is just granted.

Merry Xmas to all of our colleagues wherever you are located, Nextview and Mooza is the best match ever created.

CHAPTER IV

Not only do they make a great combination, They also boost the company’s number of certifications.

The customers responded to this news with a big cheer, They are all coming to Maastricht to drink a lot of beer.

Haven’t you heard? We had to change our location! Hopefully we will meet each other on a different occasion.

During a big company cruise perhaps on a Plastic Whale boat, Yet the ship should be really big enough for all of us to float.

But if it is not, and the boat starts to sink, We have to be careful, canal water is not to drink.

Maybe we will see Huub this year in a different way? Dressed up as Santa on his sleigh.

And that could be because of the canal water or spirits we drank, Or the fact that we are proudly owning a Salesforce bank.

But all of this news is getting us quickly in holiday spirit, Thinking of us celebrating together, oh so vivid!

With the Christmas tree already appearing in our houses, We will soon start the joyful Holiday season with our spouses.

But let’s not forget about involving our little fluffy friends, Because the holidays are not complete without a little cat friend in our hands.

CHAPTER V

Dreaming about the Holidays, how jolly last year was, We are counting down the days until this Christmas.

Just settling our brains for a long winter’s nap, From January on it will be all hands on deck.

The season has come to see our families and eat a lot of delicious food, After the COVID-period this feels even better, it’s better than good.

Let us all enjoy this special time and gain some well deserved weight, Bringing the delicious food from our Culture Weeks to your own plate.

It’s time to set aside the project and certification worry, `And fully let us all enjoy the wonderful Christmas jolly.

Wishing everyone a great 2023, Oh how great this year will be!

This year we had to miss out on a big party, So hopefully next year we will have a big one with Bacardi.

So let’s travel to Frankfurt for more fun, And our journey with Mooza has finally begun.

And this is only the beginning of our European fame, Stay tuned, because becoming the European market leader is our aim!
