t's no secret that if you've found yourself reading this edition of Next Level Psychic magazine, you have even the slightest connection to the spiritual world. In this issue, we're diving deep into spiritual awakening. My unique journey has been one for the books.

Starting very young and totally confused, wanting to learn everything I can about the universe, and acquainting myself with the many faces of a dark night of the soul.

hen I got the opportunity to write for this magazine, I spent days thinking about the things I could talk about. After all, spiritual awakening is such a unique experience for everyone. There are no specific signs or stages that everyone goes through as tell-tale proof of their “awakening”… That is until we start feeling those ascension symptoms. For me, it was feeling lonely and lost on my path.

When I was 17, or rather since the beginning of my time, I felt a deep sense of knowing that I didn’t really “belong” here. Of course, three-year-old me didn’t know to articulate my feelings of disconnection and homesickness. Hence I learned to suppress my inner process and live what would be a normal life. But, have you ever fallen asleep looking at the moon and crying yourself to bed without knowing why are you sad? These were my thoughts every night. I remember questioning if I was depressed or simply insane. Who knew that my heart could grieve a world I was yearning to know for myself?

This longing was soon transformed into aching for love from the external world. My journey began with mistaking love for attention. I primarily sought comfort and recognition in boys, and soon looked for it from my elders and total strangers. I went through one relationship to another, but all that changed was the face and the duration of each relationship.

When I turned seventeen, it felt like Universe got tired of giving me chances to wake up and sent me an overwhelming curve ball of anxiety and overwhelm. At the time, my mother was sick and I feared we were about to lose her. I had a vivid dream one night that her body was lying on the floor and upon waking up in hysterical tears, I was called to bow down and make the decision to pave another way.

Since that night of my first profound rebirth experience, I have become evident proof that we don’t just have one or a few spiritual awakenings. In this experience we call Life, we are spiritual beings having a human experience and we are always awakening to deeper versions of life.

I believe with my heart and soul that there are countless spiritual awakening experiences, and as Quantum Physics actually proves, Parallel Universes do exist! And, no. Einstein was not crazy.

There are so many divine happening at once.

Every time you decide to do something different than your past memory or what your autopilot mind tells you from past experiences, you create a new thought, a new reality, and a new awakened dream. Every time you don’t react but instead consciously create from your heart, what you are experiencing what is called a “Spiritual Awakening.”

That’s what this entire game we call Life is about.

It is a series of creations and reactions, notice the only difference between the two is where you place the C for Consciousness.

So, ask yourself. Are you going to wait for something major to happen, for you to hit rock bottom to finally awaken to your potential? Will you run from your fears or are you going to “wake up” in this Now moment, the pre-sent moment, the only moment that ever exists and listen to the wisdom of your heart?

Where did your journey with spirit begin?

My journey with spirit began five years ago. I had been feeling lost and overwhelmed with postpartum anxiety and depression while trying to juggle the demanding roles of career-woman, mom, wife, and daughter. That year, I also had to say goodbye to my sweet dog of 11 years, Jake. It was the first time that I was present at the actual moment of death when a soul leaves the physical body. I will never forget how it felt to hold him during his parting, and for the first time, feel his energy physically move through my body. It was so divine, and it truly changed my life. The following year, we unfortunately also lost my aunt and uncle, both of whom were very special to me, and I was once again present at their moments of passing. After experiencing so much grief, death, and sadness, I started to feel lost and question this whole hamster wheel we call life. “Why are we here? What is my purpose?”

I felt the call to dig deeper so I began paying closer attention to signs that were around me and how to communicate with the spirit world. I completed several programs such as yoga teacher training, reiki & elemental healing; I just couldn’t get enough of anything “woo woo.” I was fortunate to learn from some incredible mentors along the way, and I am forever grateful for their guidance and support. They helped me discover my purpose; I am an intuitive healer.

What challenged you the most along the way?

My biggest challenge was working through many deeply rooted traumas and insecurities that I wasn’t even aware were there. Instead of pushing them away, I finally sat with the uncomfortable feelings and allowed myself to truly feel them. One of my biggest issues was around worthiness and the feeling of not being “enough”. I was afraid to be seen as I am in fear of being judged and not accepted. I also had a lot of limiting beliefs and ancestral patterns around money, abundance and fear. By shining a light on these issues, I was able to clear and replace these patterns and beliefs, in order to make space for a much more expanded and aligned vision for my future.

What’s been your biggest breakthrough?

My biggest breakthrough came when I finally faced my fear about putting myself out there for the world to see! In 2020-2021, after an impactful session with Courtney, I decided to take the leap and publicly launch my own energy-healing business. It was so scary at the time, but since that day, when I learned to really trust myself and trust the guidance from spirit, my whole world shifted!

I feel so much more aligned in my life, and have already witnessed such incredible shifts in my clients' lives as well. It is the most rewarding feeling to help others find their way on their own spiritual paths. I feel so fortunate to finally be following my passion and living my purpose!

What does your next level look like?

Now that I have launched my business Compassion & Purpose Energy Healing & Intuitive Guidance, I am so excited to continue to dive even deeper into helping others, by putting more time and energy into my brand. I am very fortunate to have such an incredible support system around me, along with a wonderful community and sisterhood who allow me to continue developing my gifts and nurturing my passion. I want to spread as much love and light as I can into this world because it is so needed, especially these days.

I know in my soul that this is my calling, and I hope to help as many people as possible find their way on their own healing journeys!

Yearning for more: The soul’s way

Do you ever stop long enough to relish in your desires, or are your dreams getting so big and audacious that you never stop to wonder why you always crave more? Are you living the life of your dreams and finding yourself wanting more? Sometimes I’m so busy manifesting the next level that I question if I’m greedy and will ever be satisfied in life.

I used to limit myself from wanting more… But then I discovered it’s the soul’s way. The soul creates energy in your body that translates into wanting more, yearning for the infinite, and constantly desiring to expand. It serves to motivate and excite you to seek more experiences to help you grow and expand your divinity.

But what really is the soul and what is this insatiable desire?

The soul is an extension of your spirit that resides in the physical body so you can have a human experience and explore the material world until you are ready to part.

The soul is you, or at least a fraction of your consciousness that serves to explore & adventure out. As you explore, the soul acts like a compass that navigates you to your next truths, the agreements you made before joining the world, and home to your truest self and desires. You are here to grow, learn, and experience deeper levels of... well, everything. You can experience the fullness of love, joy, pain, anger, knowledge, happiness, peace and expansion that is available while being alive.

Whether your soul craves connections with friends, family & lovers, or includes experiencing material wealth like money, cars, homes, boats, etc. The soul guides you to the most expansive life you can imagine. You are not greedy for always wanting more, wanting to go higher or become bigger. Nothing is wrong with you. You will always desire more, different, expansive and unique opportunities, be ok with it.

Your soul desires to experience the infinite, and that is what you have come to create.

The soul navigation system also guides you towards your purpose by creating desires around certain subjects, people, and circumstances you would like to experience.

These soul-led purpose desires are different from mentally-created wants that are sometimes influenced by programming, social norms, cultural expectations, or past experiences. Understanding your soul navigation system will guide you to desiring more consciously so you can seek life experiences that serve your expansion and not your ego. Being intentional with what desires you pursue will lead you towards your most enlightened truth. So, how do you use this information to discern which desires are soul-led or ego-based?

First, connect with your soul. What makes you feel most at home? Listen to your basic needs and what makes you feel at ease.

Second, listen. What do you deeply desire? More than the wants and needs of your day-to-day life, what deep yearnings call to you? Write down how they feel in your body. Give yourself permission to want what you want. Don’t worry about the how’s or why’s, just be grateful for the present moment and know that your desires are also your reality.

Practice the feeling of having those desires. Do you feel happy? Expansive, peaceful, joyful, flooded with love, or excited? Tap into the quantum reality of your soul-led desires because this energetically magnetizes them to you.

Your desires are not something outside of you. They guide you to discover who you are and what you are meant to create with your time, here on Earth.

ion’s Gate Abundance-Activation Meditation

You will need: A place for meditation that feels lush, where you will be undisturbed for 10-20 minutes A candle for your altar space A journal (Optional) Photo of the lioness Egyptian goddess Sekhmet First, create your space. Light a candle, and decorate your altar with sunflowers or bright yellow flowers to signify the joy of the sun’s rays. Turn on soft music if you desire.

For this ritual, we are going to work with the Egyptian goddess, Sekhmet. Daughter of Ra, the sun god.

Sekhmet represents solar feminine energy and was said to breathe fire, the element that alchemizes energies into desired manifestations. Another name for Sekhmet is “Lady of Flame.” Her flame in this meditation will help you purify any distorted thoughts of lack-consciousness and alchemize them into visions of abundance.

Lay down and take a deep breath.

Place your hands below your belly button, and bring your awareness to your sacral chakra and womb-space, your center of creativity.

As you breathe, notice what’s been a challenge for you lately, where you have perceived “lack” in business blocks, relationship dynamics, health, etc.

As you reflect, notice if any emotions arise. Contemplate the memories or challenges that might be mentally rising to the surface. Tune in with your emotions and let yourself FEEL them. Our power to alchemize stems from how deeply we let ourselves feel. Only when we feel what’s present can we change the narrative. You might want to take some deep breaths, sound out what you are feeling in your exhales, or even shake your body gently to help move the energy.

Now, imagine Sekhmet, her lovingly fierce heart, lighting a flame inside your sacral. Her lioness head appears and gently blows on the flame so that it grows even bigger. Feel your sacral ignite with passion and perceive your body being tended to as an abundance altar, awakening to new realms of creative life force.

Cook with ginger, to activate inner fire, and brew a freshly grated ginger tea. SERVES 3-4

INGREDIENT

▢ 1 cup organic rice or quinoa ▢ 1 tbsp coconut oil ▢ 2 cups onion, chopped ▢ 1 tbsp + 1 tsp ginger, grated ▢ 3 tbsp garlic, minced ▢ 1 cup zucchini, chopped

▢ 1 cup broccoli, chopped ▢ 1⁄2 cup red bell pepper, chopped ▢ 1 can coconut milk or 14 fl. oz. ▢ 2 tbsp tamari ▢ 1⁄2 tsp salt ▢ 2 1⁄2 tbsp Thai red curry paste ▢ 1⁄2 cup water

METHOD 1. Rinse rice or quinoa in a fine mesh colander. Bring rice and water to a boil, and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for about 45 minutes. Let sit for 15 minutes and then fluff with a spatula.

2. In a large frying pan, heat coconut oil over medium-low heat.

3. Add onions and sauté for 3 minutes.

4. Add ginger and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.

5. Add all other ingredients to the frying pan and cook, cover with a lid over medium-low heat for 18-20 minutes.

6. Serve over rice or quinoa.

7. Eat mindfully and with joy.

h, the dark night of the soul. I finally saw the light of day about 18 months ago. What a damn ride. I went from someone who had a Kevin Hart level of optimism to being lost, anxious, and repeating to myself “How the f**k did I get here.” Fun times! (Don’t worry I have good news coming up).

The dark night is a rite of passage for every spiritual being having a human experience, and depending on the contract we signed up for before coming down here, there are varying levels of depths we each get to go through. But we all go… Just like day turns to night. We’ll probably go through it multiple times actually. It is crucial to your spiritual awakening and a massive sign that you’re about to have a personal breakthrough. Every great spiritual teacher from Caroline Myss to Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra knows about the dark night of the soul. So if you’re going through it now, please know that it is so so normal! It is a sign of good things to come. Just hold on for dear life.

The dark night of the soul is when every rule, condition, and belief that you so wholeheartedly cling to, collapses. It is a total shutdown of identity and thus a death of the ego. This collapse is like a dark hole abyss in your life. Leaving you lost, afraid, confused, and stuck in a life that has no meaning.

Initially, we created these rules, conditions, and beliefs to make us feel safe, and when they fall through, our entire identity is exposed with nothing to hold onto.

We lose meaning because everything we use to define ourselves before no longer applies.

All those conditions were based on an old, less authentic version of ourselves. A lot were even based on other people’s ideas of us like our parents and society.

They were based on an unstable identity that was separate from our true soul.

That’s why it is a dark night for the soul. We’ve lost our souls in the dark. Yet it is a deeply sacred rite of passage because of its total shedding of what no longer serves us. If we can move through it, we can alchemize it. If we can realize it is happening FOR us and not to us, we can literally rise into the light of the other end; completely transformed and authentic.

If you can learn the tools to move through the dark night once, then you’ll smash it for every other time you experience a dark night of the soul. Remember, we are constantly shedding old ideas, finding new ones, trying them on, having them fit for a while and then needing to evolve. Shed the old and move on. It is a constant process.

So, how can we do that without letting these transitions completely destroy us?

This brings me to face the shadow.

The Dark Night is about coming face to face with your shadow. The deepest parts of yourself that limit you, criticize you and don’t serve you. Become your own joy and self-worth advocate. It is your sole job during this time to find small and big ways to access the vibration of joy and to remember that you are worthy. I figured if I can find a sliver of joy when everything seems to be dark, I have mastered the ability to create my joy and self-worth from nothing.

There are so many courses and resources out there to do shadow work. An NLP coach can help you to rewire your subconscious mind on a very deep level as well as a Hypnotherapist. In this stage, your best ally is your journal. Get all that shit out of your head and onto paper.

Stick to this one rule I have for you: If it feels good, it's the truth. If it feels bad it’s a lie.

Get all your lies onto paper. Have a pity party for yourself and forgive your lies. Find support and safe ways to allow all your emotions to come up and let it all to the surface. Crawl into a ball on the couch and bawl your eyes out for two hours as I did.

Do it more than once. This is the process of bringing the shadow to the light. Congratulations, you are now an Alchemist or Alchemistress.

We cause so much strife in our lives by insisting on Life being different than it is. We cannot solve a problem with the same mindset that created it (paraphrasing Einstein here).

4 WAYS TO BREAKTHROUGH

Taking a huge step back is going to give you an opportunity to catch your breath and go WITHIN. If I can find a sliver of joy when everything in my world seems to be saying otherwise, then I have mastered a very valuable thing; I have mastered the ability to create my joy and self-worth from nothing.

Above all else, love and care for yourself during this time. If there is anything I would like you to understand it’s that this is a completely normal experience.

Especially for those of us that are deep, soulful, and feminine beings.

Find the support you need. Invest in a psychologist or a coach to guide you through this time.

Avoid the tendency to blame yourself for a dark night of the soul. You are not to blame, you are to learn, alchemize, and grow into the beautiful butterfly you were meant to be. Be open to the gifts of this time. Turn in, and you will give yourself the gift of finding every answer you’ve ever needed… inside yourself.

A LETTER FROM A SEER'S DREAM A TWO-PART STORY BY TANIA JANE Today, I woke from the longest afternoon nap. This nap was unlike any other; though fast asleep, I felt awake on a cellular level. I felt like I stepped into an alternate dimension altogether. You may eventually read these words thinking that I’ve gone out of my mind. Heck, it doesn’t quite make sense to me just yet. But in this realm, I had a familiar "knowing" appear. Like I had been here before. I felt like I had walked these steps before. The journey and voyage weren’t new to me. I had these codes, language, memories of myself, and old revelations revealed to me.

I knew my lifetimes past and present. I sensed a keen sisterhood, sovereignty, wild woman energy, and the feelings of a whole other lifetime. And through it all, I felt the deep ache in my heart, my throat, and my eyes.

Every part of me burned from the inside. My throat felt like it had lumps of coal blocking it, my womb felt like she had something ripped out of her, and my eyes burned with salty tears that knew no bounds. To describe such a feeling in words, I can only say that it was an ache for love, home, and freedom.

I’ve had really vivid dreams and visualizations before, but nothing quite like this experience. This felt like an awakening, this felt like a remembering, a homecoming. As if I was finally ready to receive that which has been within me all along. The visions kept coming so quickly, bubbling up to the surface in waves that would not stop crashing. I saw myself walking along the ocean side. All around me, there were mountains. Mountains that had been weathered and corroded by the elements, but they still stood strong and majestic in their glory.

Their grace and their grit brought enough beauty for the whole world to admire.

As I went deeper into the dream, I ascended to an inner knowing that you and I are just like the strong majestic mountains. Our hearts and beings are broken, corroded, climbed, and celebrated since the beginning of time. more. And still, we stand. Still, we persist.

I felt like I’d been here before. I felt desire in my womb, a longing in my heart with a slow, burning ache. An ache that hurts the moment I think of pleasure. An ache that hurts the moment I think of love. Followed by a sense of familiarity, a sense of inner constraint that I had worn too long. Yet, before feeling crushed by the weight of the familiar, a sense of grace and holy water washed over me and purifies my soul in forgiveness and calm.

In another split second, anger. Anger like I’d never felt before. Anger for letting them use me, anger for letting them drink at my altar. Anger at letting them take from me. Anger for giving away my power with every lash, with every bruise, with every assault, with every word. Pure, sacred anger. And slowly, even that rage transformed into shudders of tears. A longing for home, a longing to belong in my skin, in my body, as the whole divine feminine force.

Me, the Seer and the Goddess Creatrix.

The Maiden who transcends to Mother and ascends into the Wise Woman; the Storyteller, the Portal.

I saw them—all the lovers of past and future lives, even the ones who broke my heart. I saw my ancestors, the women of my lineage. I saw their brown skin toiling in the fields. Burning, beaten, and bruised. I saw them going through the same cycles I feel in my cells today. I saw these wounds repeating.

And, I’m transported back to the shore. Back to the beach where I lay in the sand, tears streaming down my face. I lay there ready to receive, and so it is. It all came flooding back to me, this language, this revelation, this intricate knowing.

The seer within me, the warrioress. My body carries the wounds of the generations and lives before me. My womb carries the imprint of the generations that came before me and from me. My heart carries the ache and the longing for home married to the infinite source of pure love.

And in a moment... I’m transported back to myself... to my very earthly body.

I woke up with tears streaming down my face, my womb feeling heavy and light, my heart feeling the pain and celebrations of lifetimes. My son continued to stare at me with growing concern as he hugged me tight and touched my face.

“Mama, are you okay? Are you sad?” he asks me.

“No, sweetheart, I am okay. Mommy just remembered who she’s always been.”

I don’t know what that was. All I know is that I had walked these paths before.

I have been here before, I will make it through, and I will be okay.

I am here to make an impact, to shift the new timelines. And so are you.

And, just like that. I was awakened and ignited.

I knew my cosmic purpose.

I am here to stop fear from drinking at the altar of our desires.

I am here to honor our bliss and to serve, lead and heal.

No longer do we let the dream plunder us, no longer do we let them confuse us from our sovereign reality. We hold our power and our magnetism, we hold our desires, we hold the prime Goddess and nurture her, and come home to her, over and over again.

Listen to Her. Seek Her. Stand tall and powerfully in your grace, strength, and sovereignty.

Evolve because you are inevitable.

I went through many past lifetimes before I remembered whom I came here to be. Whom I always had been. ​I didn't always start out as the ElixSeer. Though its essence was already in existence before I ever came to be.
