The energetics of the month will continue to usher in greater growth, more foundations anchoring into place. Building upon what you’ve already created, allowing the seeds to bloom, taking the lessons from experiences past and present, and releasing with love, all that is no longer for you. Make way for the true you, the YOU that can only be born when you allow yourself to listen to your divine knowing.

This is a season where you continue to claim what has always been yours. You were always capable, wise, powerful beyond measure. This is a time where you are being asked to step up and rise into your leadership, let your divinity illuminate the way.

The Spiritual Quest: Finding Freedom from Fear

By Dr. Nicole Cain Three decades into her life, a young woman went on a quest.

This time, however, it wasn’t something she blocked into her schedule, or organized by a numerical sequence of predetermined steps. This time, it was unexpected, immethodical and unlike anything she had ever experienced before.

She identified as an anxiety warrior, seeker, and trauma survivor. Growing up under the critical eye of caretakers, who parented with a mix of authoritarianism and corporal punishment, she was skilled in the art of nuance.

Her nervous system was attuned outward, enabling her to quickly identify subtle indicators that someone was dissatisfied, disappointed, or even dangerous. On the outside she was known to be a competent peoplepleaser and she was often referred to as intuitive and charming.

On the inside, a war was brewing. While her mind and body had devised adaptations that enabled survival and resilience, they also came with their own set of trade-offs: fear, overwhelm, and desperate loneliness.

As a self-identified “Type A” personality, she pursued healing with the same vigor as one who was desperately trying to escape an undertow. She studied biohacking— which essentially refers to the art of using diet, supplementation, and lifestyle techniques to improve health— attended conferences, went on healing retreats, implemented boundaries in her relationships, and mastered the art of being the perfect therapy client.

She saw great results; amazing even.

Still there was one giant piece missing. At least until one day, and that is the day that everything started to change.

HAVE YOU EVER KNOWN SOMETHING THAT YOUR BRAIN DIDN’T ACTUALLY REALLY KNOW? Some people refer to this experience of knowing as tapping into our sixth sense or intuition. While others chalk up these seemingly mystical experiences as imagination or wishful thinking.

Maybe you are well versed in the art of manifestation or listening to your intuition, or perhaps your idea of getting what you want comes from a well-thought-out strategic plan.

WHEREVER YOU ARE ON THE SPECTRUM OF MATERIALIST VERSUS MYSTIC, ASK YOURSELF THE FOLLOWING QUESTION: Am I more than a trillion little chemical synapses, experiences, and adaptations? If so, what does that mean?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) healers seek wisdom from The Eight Extraordinary Meridians. In Ayurveda the doshas offer answers for deeper health (Svastha) and purpose (Dharma). Nature cure speaks of the Three-Fold Constitution of (Wo)man which interweaves mind, body, and spirit. Modern medicine speaks of soul sickness which involves a vague, unexplained sense of loss of purpose and hope.

All of these mythologies rest on one foundational belief: You are more than just the sum of your parts.

You are more than your cells, neurons, hormones, neurotransmitters, bones, skin, eyes and heart. If you feel stuck, lost, or alone, or if you find yourself wondering if something is missing, lean into it.

Your symptoms are your canaries: messengers communicating what needs healing and how. This is the first step. Your job is to be curious and to listen.

Depending on one’s cultural, spiritual, or philosophical background, this process can look different for everyone.

Regardless of your beliefs, finding one’s “soul” often involves a process of introspection, selfdiscovery, and personal growth. This may include exploring your values, passions, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as engaging in practices that promote mindfulness, meditation, or selfreflection. It may also involve seeking guidance from mentors, counselors, or spiritual leaders who can provide support and insight.

Writer, teacher, and philosopher Joseph Campbell was famous for a monomyth that he called The Hero’s Journey. It is a template of how stories have been created and told through time: A hero is invited on a journey. They say yes, meet a mentor, go through a series of challenges, find themselves in the abyss. There they are transformed, and then they bring their gift to others. Rinse. Repeat.

Rinse. Repeat.

You’ve seen this trope play out again and again, and now it’s your turn.

Our seeker received her invitation in the form of an emotional crisis, an invitation to leave everything behind, and to rebuild. At the juxtaposition of collapsing into the life she had been given— riddled with fear, loss, and sacrifice— or pursuing the life she longed for, deep in her bones, she chose to say yes.

Going on a spiritual quest can be a deeply personal and transformative journey that involves exploring your beliefs, values, and purpose in life.

The focus shifts from doing to asking.

HERE ARE A FEW IDEAS TO GET YOU STARTED. • Set an intention: Before beginning your spiritual quest, it can be helpful to set an intention or a goal for what you hope to gain from the experience. This could be something like anxiety-freedom, relief from physical pain, finding inner peace, exploring your purpose, or gaining a deeper understanding of yourself.

• Explore different spiritual practices: There are many spiritual practices that can help you connect with your inner self, your soul, and the great beyond. Some common practices include meditation, prayer, retreats, yoga, journaling, listening, and spending time in nature. Try experimenting with different practices to see what resonates with you.

• Seek guidance: Consider finding a spiritual mentor or teacher who can guide you on your journey. This could be a religious leader, an intuitive, a meditation teacher, or a spiritual coach.

• Practice self-reflection: Spend time reflecting on your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Journaling can be a helpful tool for this. Take time to explore your beliefs and values, and consider how they shape your understanding of the world and your place in it.

• Connect with a community: Connecting with a spiritual community can provide support, encouragement, and opportunities for breaking barriers. Consider joining a local religious or spiritual group, attending a retreat or workshop, or connecting with others online.

• Embrace the journey: Remember that a spiritual quest is a journey, not a destination. Embrace the process of self-discovery and be open to the insights and experiences that come your way.

Ultimately, the search for one’s soul is a deeply personal and subjective journey that may take a lifetime to fully realize. It requires a willingness to be open, honest, and vulnerable with oneself, as well as a commitment to living authentically and in alignment with one’s deepest sense of purpose and meaning.

And with it comes the gift. The young woman from our story was gifted with teachers and mentors that taught her how to listen to her inner knowing. Her nervous system recalibrated.

Fear transformed into confidence, overwhelm dissolved into stillness, and loneliness was replaced by communion with self.

To this day, she continues her search: listening carefully and attuning to mind, body, and spirit.

Continuing to say yes to the adventure, digging deep, and then sharing her experiences, including writing this article.

Making Magic Daily with My Spirit Team

By Emily Gornick Some call it luck but I call it co-creating with the Universe… I utilized my Spirit Guides and intuition in my daily rituals to manifest my dream life! And you can too.

As human beings, we are all blessed with an innate sense of intuition and a Spirit Team on the other side ready to guide us. However, not all of us are aware of the power and potential that brings. It is truly the secret sauce that I use each and every day in order to manifest my dream life and more!

As a Psychic Medium, I have always been connected to the spiritual world and, over time, I have built a deep connection with my Spirit Team and have an even deeper understanding of my intuition. Both help me in many ways, such as giving me guidance and clarity when I need it, and ensuring I am on the right path for my why here on earth.

Let’s break it down, first there are your Spirit Guides that are angels, loved ones who have passed, etc. from the other side. They are so ready to help us, guide us, and put things in our path to get us our manifestations! We just need to ask. Our intuition is that gut feeling.

The one you get when you know something is right. Imagine being completely tapped into those things?

Second, there comes how to utilize them in your daily rituals. The good news? It is so easy to start! And it gets to be so fun. When it comes to manifesting our deepest desires and intentions, there are countless methods and practices that one can use to bring them into reality. From vision boards and affirmations to meditation and manifestation journals, the tools at our disposal are vast and varied. However, for me, the key to successful manifestation lies in something less tangible - the use of my Spirit Team and my intuition.

THESE ARE MY 3 FAVORITE TECHNIQUES THAT I DO EACH AND EVERY MORNING IN MY MAGICAL MORNING RITUALS IN ORDER TO CALL IN THE MONEY, FREEDOM AND IMPACT.

1. WEALTH JOURNALING

To future pace my manifestations as if I already have them. I love getting super clear as if it already happened in order to give my Spirit Team the clarity on what I am calling in. That’s the thing with manifestation – it’s already mine! I also make sure to allow space for this or something better. As in, if I am calling in $30k+ month I don’t want to just focus on that coming just from my business, I want to remain open to wherever the money comes from. I trust that my Spirit Team will help bring in whatever is for my highest good.

2. MEDITATION

I sit in meditation by heading to the Akashic Records to interact with my Spirit Team. The records are a special place for me with all my lifetimes and for me it’s the best place to get clear messages from my team.

I call on them to guide me with 3 aligned actions I can take that day in order to call in my intentions. They love being fun with it and can guide me to dance in the car (that got me 4 clients once!), cook dinner or even get up and get my body moving. Sometimes they are more practical of course, and they always have my intention in mind!

3. ALIGNED ACTION

I take those three actions and ask for my Spirit Team to put things in my path to align with my manifestations.

Ultimately, they are here to guide me and put things in my path but it is ultimately up to me to make my manifestations happen! This is where I lean on my intuition most because that trust I have with my intuition ensures I am taking the aligned actions that are right for my values and my why.

Throughout the day, I pay attention to the signs and synchronicities that come my way. I notice repeating numbers, animals, or symbols that may have a deeper meaning and feel into my intuition on what my Spirit Team is sending me as a sign.

I used all three rituals in my morning magic routine over the past year to help me call in $30k, $100k, soul aligned clients in my programs and 1:1, first class upgrades on luxury trips and so much more! For me it is all about what’s best for my highest good, having fun and ultimately generating wealth and impact.

Through using my spiritual gifts, my Spirit Team, and intuition I am able to help so many women do the same! Because it’s not just me using the 3 and manifesting, it is my clients too!

They’ve called in sold out programs, freedom, peace and an epic trip that didn’t seem possible before working with me.

When I combine my connection with my Spirit Team and my intuition, I find that I am able to manifest my life’s desires with ease all while having fun! I can’t wait for you to manifest using your Spirit Team and intuition too!

Let Your Intuition Guide You From Uncertainty to Self-trust

By Samara Lane “Uncertainty” is the word of the century. It’s a fact of life and a daily reality for all of us.

For many years, I’ve taught classes and coached people on self-trust, especially around transitions and major decisions. Uncertainty demands each of us to lean into faith by following our intuition, trusting that inner guidance and taking one step at a time. But my willingness to practice what I preach was tested this year in the most unexpected way.

You see, I’m a relationship anxiety mentor, healer and entrepreneur. Second only to my daughter, my business is my greatest passion.

It’s so much more than numbers or money to me. It’s my creative freedom, it’s my joy, it’s my inspiration. It’s the incredible people I serve.

And for years, my reputation as a relationship anxiety coach was founded not only on my clients’ successes, but on the success of my marriage after healing my own relationship anxiety*.

So, at the beginning of 2023, I felt more than a little alarmed when I found myself having clear, intuitive “knowing” that it was time for my marriage to end.

At first, I brushed off my intuitive inkling about getting divorced as a harmless anxiety relapse.

“This sounds just like relationship anxiety*,” I thought to myself. “I know this stuff like the back of my hand. No need to give it any credence.”

But the truth is, a deeper part of me had known on some level that the relationship might end.

With respect for my ex and the beautiful child we co-parent together, I won’t go into details. Let’s just say that there were legitimate issues and despite our best efforts to make it work, I was done. My intuition was telling me to get a divorce. And I really didn’t want to. Not because I still wanted to be with my partner forever, but because I didn’t want to face the uncertainty that lay before me.

How would this impact our daughter, short and long term?

Where would we all live?

How would we navigate the messy process of divorce?

Would this trigger my clients and audience so badly that they’d go running for the hills?

What would my business (my passion) look like after such a dramatic life change?

Since there was so much emotional charge around the decision to uncouple, my first task as an intuitive empath was to hold space for the emotions. When waves of fear, sadness, panic and grief washed over me, I turned my conscious awareness onto the sensations in my body. I didn’t judge or analyze them. I didn’t try to make them go away. I just sat with them, acknowledged and named them. “Sorrow... grief... sadness... guilt... shame... fear... terror.” I gave them words of loving compassion similar to what I might give to a scared child. “It’s okay to feel this way, Samara. It’s okay to feel this way. I’m right here with you. I’ll never leave your side.” With my eyes closed and both hands on my heart, I let the healing power of surrender and presence sink in: “I am here. I am now. I am safe.”

When uncertainty would rear its terrifying head and scream, “Are you SURE leaving is the right choice?!”

I wouldn’t try to figure anything out or make a life changing decision from that place. I simply chose to do nothing and set the intention that Spirit was going to show me the way. There was nothing for me to do at that moment. My only job was to trust and be.

Trust... and be.

After several weeks of balancing a freaked out nervous system and lots of crying in the tub, it hit me... the decision to divorce wasn’t even a choice. It just was. Spiritually, it was already done. There was nothing left to fight or resist. I told my husband that I was leaving him.

Now the real work could begin.

My life was about to drastically change. There would be upheaval and hurt feelings, loss and rebirth. I knew that I would need to stay connected with Spirit and my higher self more than ever. I started doing my life with Spirit.

(Like, really doing it.) I talked out loud to my team of guides every day. I did daily oracle card pulls and cleansing rituals. I did automatic writing and channeled the wisdom I needed most. I went on walks in the sunshine and played in nature. I doubled down on my devotion to live in alignment with the joy, bliss and magic that I wanted to have. I followed whatever hits of inspiration I received without judgment.

Sometimes I felt resistance, but I kept taking steps anyway.

When we started the legal divorce process. I anchored even more deeply into my business branding, purpose and mission. I started spending more time with Samara, rediscovering who I was without all the labels of wife, mom or entrepreneur. I asked questions and allowed myself to receive help when I needed it. I leaned on my mentors, friends and family big time for support. I listened to their advice, but always trusted my intuition most. If something resonated with me, I took it and ran with it.

If something didn’t feel quite right, I trusted that too and allowed that person to keep those opinions for themselves.

It was (and still is) a balance between holding space for my emotions, reframing negative thoughts into empowering ones, and actively connecting with my intuition in whatever way felt good. Above all, what kept me going was one simple question: “What if my life is actually

anxiety, because MUSIC is her truth. (And of course she got the part.) You never know what ripple effect one brave action can have when you listen to your intuition... especially when it’s scary. My divorce process isn’t even over yet, and look at all the unexpected beauty that it’s birthed.

In other words, what if my daughter is happier, our family is stronger, my business is bigger and I am freer than ever before? What if this is, in fact, the best thing that’s ever happened to me and is in the highest good of all?

My invitation to you now is this… Trust yourself. No matter what’s happening around you, know that this is your sign that bliss and prosperity are already coming your way.

BETTER now because of this?”

I stayed grounded in my curiosity and kept asking myself, “How can I trust even more?

What would I be doing, thinking, saying, believing or feeling right now if I knew that everything was already working out even better than I’d dreamed of?”

I announced my divorce publicly. We let our four-year-old daughter know, in an age appropriate way, how our lives would be changing. The more I boldly stood in my truth, the more miracles appeared all around me.

My daughter blossomed almost overnight and was suddenly more outgoing, confident and initiating new friendships that felt meaningful to her. Challenges that I’d had with my ex for years vanished as if we were both energetically free for the first time. My business thrived and I continue to attract the most amazing clients. I was met with an outpour of love, acknowledgment and support for honoring my truth and following my heart. (And anyone who doesn’t approve can kindly you-know-what.)

One woman came to me after hearing about my divorce and said she was finally ready to stand up to her abusive husband. Another client told me that it gave her the courage to audition for a play and sing on stage again, despite years of

Is it scary? Go bigger.

Is it terrifying? Go deeper.

You are so safe to follow your heart, your desires and the messages your intuition is giving you.

It’s okay to feel fear along the way. Keep driving, let it be the passenger in your back seat and don’t believe a word it says.

Your intuition knows no fear and it always holds the answers you seek… one step at a time. **Relationship anxiety (AKA relationship OCD) is characterized by recurring intrusive thoughts that are unwanted and distressing. When someone has relationship anxiety/OCD, it’s easy for them to feel triggered by everyday things and experience intense rumination or break-up urges. The accompanying thoughts usually sound something like, “am I settling? Do I love my partner enough? Am I really attracted to them? Is there someone better for me?”

And the cleverest one of all, “is this really even relationship anxiety, or am I just too afraid to break up?” While the opposite side of the relationship anxiety coin can also sound like, “does my partner really love me? What if they leave me or cheat on me?”

A lesson in Compassion & Boundaries

By Brittany Russell YOUR HEART SPACE IS YOUR INTUITION My name is Brittany Russell. I came into this world being hyper aware of the other side. I could see, hear, and feel energies that “weren’t there” to others. My mom noticed this around the age of four. I now have a business in which I am a psychic medium and spiritual transformation mentor for healing women.

My superpower is very literally being able to take my energy/spirit body out of my own physical body and plant myself into the body of another, knowing exactly what is happening inside of them on an emotional, physical and energetic level. I have been doing this since I was a young child, and only recently have I been able to put words to my experience, for others to understand and utilize as a tool in my business.

importance (duh) however, as emotional and energetic beings, we need to collectively learn how to be heart driven if we desire to be whole. Whole means being in complete harmony when your spirit, soul, mental and physical bodies are vibrating in alignment.

I am heart driven. Heart intuition IS your intuition. I help women with a number of things through my gift of knowing- right from the heart space. I teach them how to drop into their heart space, as most, if not all people typically cozy around the planet living in their heads. That’s why there is so much confusion, pain, chaos, and bullshit that continuously follows people- living in the head means living in logic or thought based only. Facts have

A significant focus in my business is boundaries.

Boundaries have become big talk in the industry and beyond, but how the fuck do we make boundaries feel good consistently? Once you are clear on your values, you can set your boundaries. That seems to be the easy part among my clients. Where people, including myself, run into blocks, is ensuring these boundaries feel GOOD. Not just the idea of setting them, but how they make you feel in the moment you set them, and thereafter. A lot of time, setting boundaries creates inner conflict because we become concerned with how the other party views them, or we are consumed by guilt and shame. I am here to tell you that you can be BOTH compassionate AND set boundaries.

I struggled for, well, all my life until some time ago, with the idea that I had to choose between being compassionate and being a boundary badass. Either I was compassionate, making me a doormat, or setting boundaries and being a rigid bitch. The good news is that I don’t make this choice anymore and neither should you. You teach people how to treat you, HOWEVER, you must master teaching YOURSELF how to treat you first. It needs to feel good, in order to bring more good.

This goes back to being heart driven and allowing your heart intuition to lead you. The minute you go back to the “safe” space in your head is the moment you create unnecessary suffering to the situation at hand.

This lesson was a big slap in the face for me. I always say, “listen to the whispers or wait for the brick.” I fluctuated for many years between the head and the heart. It wasn’t until my best friend, who is also the biological mother of my stepchildren, died by suicide in November of 2022.

I committed myself to working with multiple healing modalities and started my healing journey. When I mastered living in my heart space, I came to the realization that my best friend, Casey, had actually become my main spirit guide. She regularly shows up for me, reminding me to live in my heart space. That moving forward, I COULD have both compassion and boundaries while picking up the pieces after this tragedy. I cannot express enough that when you drop from your head to your heart, life becomes easier.

It becomes a state of walking your talk- being in a state of harmony because you trust- in the Universe, your guides, and most importantly, YOUR HEART INTUITION. We all came to planet earth with this gift of knowing. We were given the gift of free will, so it’s up to us to lead from it in our daily lives to cultivate our deepest desires. We ALL come into the world knowing our purpose. If you believe you do not, the answer is because you are living in your head. You too, can master living and leading from your heart intuition. You already have one.

Heart intuition is the sense of knowing or feeling something deep within us, even without any logical or intellectual explanation. It’s the ability to tune into the wisdom of our hearts and let it guide us in making decisions, even when our minds may be clouded by doubts or fears.

The idea of heart intuition has been around for centuries in many cultures, but it’s only recently that science has started to take notice. In fact, research has shown that the heart has its own complex nervous system, with around 40,000 neurons that can communicate with the brain in ways that affect our thoughts, emotions, and even our physical health.

When we listen to our heart intuition, we tap into this inner wisdom and access a deeper level of understanding and insight. It can help us navigate through difficult situations, make better decisions, and even connect with others in a deeply connected way. All people are an expression of love.

Some just don’t know it yet. Start with remembering that is who YOU are today.

Not just household pets like cats, dogs and birds, but all animals including lions, tigers and bears, reptiles and fish. There is no limit to who and what we can communicate with because all beings hold energy and information.

I also communicate with animals in spirit which can provide tremendous healing to the people left behind after their beloved animal transitions. I have been blessed to do what I love for over 20 years thanks to a little goat named Tyler that opened my heart and mind to this phenomenon. I want to share this story with you because I believe that we can all have the ability to communicate with animals. It is just a matter of believing it, opening tfunny looking yoga pants. One of the many reasons people seek out an animal communicator is to help them connect with an animal that has passed into spirit. This communication can be very healing for a person. People have so many unanswered questions that they want to know; if the animal was ready to leave, if they had a good life, do they know how much they are loved? People also want to know who they are with on the other side, what they are doing now and will they come back? As humans who love our animals, we want to make the best decision for them in a world where we don’t always hear them or know what they want. But it is that heart connection that bonds us forever, and transcends all boundaries of time and space.It is love that will always be the communication of the soul. Love is why our animals choose to incarnate back to us time and time again.

Animals teach us about unconditional love and the simplicity of living in the moment. They help us evolve and grow and many times they mirror back to us the very things we need to fix within ourselves.

I have helped many animals leave their physical bodies and more recently, I had to help my soul mate dog leave her body.Her mind and spirit were so strong but her body was so ill with Kidney disease that she was unable to eat.I was blindsided by this, weeks earlier she was bouncing around with the zoomies and now, her health was rapidly declining. I always thought we would grow old together. I was unprepared to help her leave her body early. For 2 years, we had her Kidney disease under control with home cooked food and supplements. She was such a big part of my world and on my mind at all times. She will always be my heart dog. Even though I know what I know, I was utterly devastated for weeks. Meditation saved me, and allowed me to remember what I knew as truth and allowed me to begin to feel her energy around me once again. As I began to shift my energy out of the heaviness of grief, guilt, and loneliness, I began to heal and to see all the signs that she was around. The day we had to help her leave her body, surrounded by family and friends that loved her, and with the caring compassion of my vet who came to the home, we noticed one ladybug that appeared right after her spirit had left the body. After that I continue to have ladybugs find me no matter where I am, and if I am not paying close enough attention to see them, they will fly into my eyes and mouth so that I can’t ignore this sign. I often hear her song “Sweet Caroline,” and have been directed at times to look a certain way so that I can see a sign with her name on it. These are just a few instances of how they can let us know they are around us and have not left. These beautiful gifts that they give us, allow us to heal and carry on until we meet again in this life or beyond.

A question people often ask is who their animal is with on the other side. I am happy to report our animals are surrounded by loving family and friends.Many of the animals that I communicate with in spirit will pull through other animals and people to show their humans who they are hanging out with. And many times they will also report on events going on in their person’s life from their viewpoint. I got a call from a woman

wanting to contact her little dog, Mel, who passed into spirit 4 months prior. When I connected with him, he began to show me a woman and a man he was with.

The woman was missing a hand, and the man had on a flannel shirt and toy trains all around him. When I relayed this info to my client, she was silent then she said that her sweet dog was with her parents. Her dad was a small man that collected toy trains and her mom had come to her in a dream after she had passed and in the dream she only had one hand. This was a double confirmation that her beloved dog was being well taken care of with her parents on the other side, and validation that her mother had communicated with her from spirit through a dream where she appeared to her with one hand. There is great comfort in knowing that our animals have friends and relatives on the other side waiting for them.

When I was in the process of writing the book, Untamed Voices, I wanted to work with a few animals who were in spirit so that I could ask them what the process of transitioning out of a body was like for them. In this excerpt, Tigger the Cougar explains crossing over beautifully: “What I distinctly remember about shifting out of my body is the feeling of being weightless. I felt as if I was in a hollow tunnel, and it seemed to echo. I began thinking about when I was a young cub. I was quite small and I could see my mother. Then I felt immediately filled with what I can describe as a type of exhilaration and excitement. At that moment everything sparkled and glowed. I felt like a cub as I awoke to a realm of beauty. My mother was there, she licked me. I was at home, and I felt at peace. I did not sit still for long, and I began to explore. There were limitless things to see. If I thought I would like to walk by the mountain, I was instantly in that place. My lungs were full of the breath of light, and I have never felt better. I relived everything I had ever done.”

Some animals leave this life it seems well before their time. This may be due to having a short contract here on earth, or that they feel that they have completed their purpose earthside. Sometimes an animal’s death is a part of our growth. Animals will also sometimes leave to make room for another or to be on the other side to help a friend that has passed or will be passing. While there is a reason for everything, unfortunately the big picture may not unfold completely for us until we are reunited in spirit form.

People often request to ask if animals in spirit will incarnate back into their lives, and if so, as what. Some animals choose to rejoin their person’s life as another animal. They may even be very specific as to what they will look like, and when they will be coming back.

Many people report that a new animal has strikingly similar characteristics as the animal who had passed.

While some animals prefer to work with their people from spirit and wait for them to join them when their time comes. how will you know when your animal has incarnated into another animal and how will you find them? Quite simply, if they intend to find you, they will find you. Animals who are meant to be with us know how to get to us. The universe is masterful beyond our full comprehension. The less we worry about it, the easier it will manifest. There are animals that just adopt us, show up at our house, or come to us through unusual circumstances. I have found, more often than not, an animal will reincarnate back to us time and time again. This is what I call the Boomerang effect.

In my own life, I have had many animals come back to me in another body. When I was living in Florida, I was pregnant with my son and on the day I was going to be induced to give birth I woke up and found my beloved cat dead in the driveway. I carried her picture with me to the hospital that evening and taped it on the wall next to my hospital bed. I had extremely hard labor that lasted over 22 hours. I later found out that Mamma Kitty left her body, so that she could assist me during this time.

Fast forward a few years, my son and I set off to rescue a dog at a local shelter. The dog we went to see was taken, however my son gravitated towards a shy dog and we took her home. I now know that this dog, Mamma Kitty, was reincarnated back to us and my son who she helped deliver that day in the hospital was the same one that picked her out to bring home. It is moments like this that we see how we are all connected and that the story never ends, we just start another chapter. Our animals will always be a part of our lives whether in a physical body or not. We will always be together because love has no limit.

Animals communicate with us all the time, all we need to do is quiet our mind, open our heart and listen. We are all connected through love.

The Five Elements of Harmony

By Nicole Goott From beginningless time, human beings have sought meaning in the cosmic order of life, from Earth to the Universe and beyond. One way we can think of human experience is to see it as a reflection of the macrocosmic Universe. As above, so below. Many spiritual worldviews and traditions look holistically at a person as not apart from but in cooperation with Nature. And, I would argue, that it’s not a stretch to see Nature reflected in us, from the physical to the most subtle levels of being.

Whether or not we are aware of it, we are in a continuous relationship and dialogue with Nature.

Through the lens of the five elements, we can learn to focus and balance that relationship to bring more flow and joy to our lives. This dialogue is at the heart of a fundamental principle of our Universe – all life is interdependent and interconnected.

Nature is in a constant dynamic state, deftly and delicately maintaining a state of order and balance.

It ebbs and flows through the seasons and the cycles of time as we perceive it to be. Like Nature, we strive for, and even yearn, for balance and harmony as we experience our own ebbs and flows of life. Moving into and out of balance and back again seems to be one of our greatest challenges. I believe we can look to Nature as a template for living harmoniously inwardly and outwardly.

From an early age, I have always loved being connected to Nature in some way. Whether walking barefoot on grass, walking through an evergreen forest just after a rain, or sinking my feet into beach sand, there has always been a part of me that has felt this intimate connection with the Earth. This connection and reverence eventually drew me to practices and systems like Ayurveda and Yoga that

emphasized the connection between mind, body, and spirit to Nature.

A core foundation of my background and worldview draws upon the model of a five-element framework from the timeless wisdom in Indian philosophy.

The model provides not only a cosmic framework for the origin of soul development but also a path back to balance and oneness with all life. It’s a model that, I believe, serves as a guidepost for selfdevelopment, self-awareness, and spiritual growth.

We can see the five elements of earth, water, air, fire, and space present within all levels of human development, a mirror of which is reflected when we look outside to Nature and the world around us.

A meta-view of the elements provides, I believe, an ideal template for exploring and unfolding the subtle levels of being. But it also invites us to re-discover how to live harmoniously within ourselves, with others, Nature and other sentient beings. Waking up to the world today and thinking about the future begs the question, how can we not think about our relationship with Mother Nature?

Early civilizations that left their mark on the planet are reflected in deity worship, reverence for the elements, and a deep respect for the gifts that Nature shared with them, amongst others. I believe that we are being called back to these early roots to bring forth into the present the innate knowledge and wisdom that has been passed down through millennia that restores inner and outer harmony and balance. The five levels of being present are one way forward.

Naturally, most people think of themselves as the container of their physical bodies. We may think of the skin as the outermost edge, holding together the complex structure of the various tissues and processes of the human body. But this is only a partial, limited view. Beyond the physical body is a container of subtle energy, a kośa (pronounced kosha), that I refer to as a “subtle body.” Each subtle body corresponds with one of the elements, has a specialized function, set of needs, and stage of mastery. Mastery occurs when all the lessons of that body are fully integrated and realized.

You might have come across the phrase; all the world is an illusion. Similarly, you might also have heard the term Maya, a Sanskrit term which can be translated as illusion or cloak. In Vedic teaching, as a soul comes into being, it takes on each subtle body as if it were putting on clothing. The subtle bodies are thus containers for the essential pure Being and true Nature of each individual Soul, providing a set of vehicles for exploring the world of physical reality. An interesting thing happens, however, along the way. The soul forgets itself; it forgets that it has all these specialized vehicles for learning and growth. We’re born with the innate capacity to crawl, sit, stand, and walk. But we must remember how to do it and progressively learn step-by-step. Similarly, we “arrive” needing to remember that we have specialized vehicles of consciousness and how to utilize them effectively.

A SUMMARY OF THE FIVE ELEMENTS AND SUBTLE BODIES ARE: 1. Earth corresponds to the subtle body of vitality and life force. This is the etheric body.

2. Water corresponds to the subtle body of flow and emotions. This is the emotional body.

3. Air corresponds to the subtle body of mind, thought, and ideas. This is the mental body.

4. Fire corresponds to the subtle body of dharma (life purpose) and the reincarnating Self. This is the causal body.

5. Space corresponds to the blissful experience of balance, oneness, and unity. This is the Buddhic body.

Each element is more subtle than the previous one, thus increasing the challenge of overcoming the limitations and obstacles that stand in the way of cultivating balance and harmony. Each element and its corresponding subtle body teach us a core lesson and set of lessons so that we may eventually reunite with the lived experience of interconnectedness, balance, and harmony. When an element is in balance, we open ourselves to an experience of true satisfaction, which in turn develops into joy.

Some of these lessons at each level are: 1. Earth – physical embodiment 2. Water – easeful flow 3. Air – illuminated perspective 4. Fire – alignment with your dharma 5. Space – unity consciousness The challenge with any practice and life itself is to strike the balance of discovering and living from the middle way. It means that we are always being called back to a state of being that is operating in the center rather than from an extreme on one side or another. We see this fundamental principle working all around us when we look toward Nature which maintains a delicate balance across the entire planet while constantly moving. Outer harmony begins with inner harmony. The challenge we all face is aligning ourselves with our core values and living from them. Each step is an invitation to step into a larger and truer sense of oneself. All we can ever do is take one step, one moment at a time. Balancing the five elements offers one path toward a harmonious and joyous life.

Why Intuition is Our Best Partner in Life and in Business: Up Close and Personal with Petia Kolibova Donning a white, wide-brim hat and cute blue and white floral top, Petia Kolibova exudes calmness and serenity. Looking at her, you can’t help but feel peace. Perhaps it is because she is at peace with herself and has learned to silence the negative self-talk that she grew up with and carried with her into adulthood. Or perhaps it is because she knows that she can teach you how to do it. As an abundance and light activation coach, she takes pride in empowering people to expand into their intuition. “When people look at me now… they can’t see me living in scarcity because all they can see is the dream house, the dream husband, just the highlights of life… However, it hasn’t always been this way and I love explaining this, not because I like living in the past but because if this girl, with the unpronounceable name can live her dream life, so can you— whatever the dream life is for you. My dream life was being in a loving, loyal relationship.”

To the outside, Petia lived what looked like an ideal life but on the inside her home life was unsteady.

She tells NLP how living in smallness throughout her childhood was like living a punishment that was pushed onto her and how she took it to the “next step” (so to speak) with an eating disorder in her teenage years and suicide attempt at age 18.

This grew into more unsteadiness throughout her early adulthood, with an unhappy relationship and ongoing eating disorder. She rationalized the idea that “…if there would be nothing wrong with me, then I wouldn’t be “punished.” I wouldn’t be betrayed, I wouldn’t be betrayed with people, toxic relationships…” With hindsight, she is now able to better understand that she was actually trying to run away from herself.

When she was twenty-eight, with her Saturn in return, she got clarity on the realities of her life and felt a push to set new boundaries with herself and her life. “I knew if something didn’t change then I won’t [change]…I felt so lonely and so empty. When I got to that stage, I started to look online and found Louise Hay. Not to say that I changed my life in a day, but she brought me hope to survive. So I feel from that time, I can see now, looking back, I had to step into that motivation: Why should I stay here? Why should I even live? Who should care? I had to find the motivation and I had to brainwash myself. I was listening to Tony Robbins, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dr. Joe DiSpenza, Louise Hay, Gabby Bernstein and they were in the mud. They were in the darkness, they were in the thickness and they rose. And I thought to myself, ‘If they could do it, then why not me?’ I had to reduce the negative thoughts.” The second phase, she goes on to explain, was finding the inspiration. By not comparing herself to others she used it as motivation.

People saw as being courageous— having in-person events in 2019, hosting retreats, Petia began to look at other women, not to copy them but to find her calling.

In that inspirational stage, she recounts a pivotal moment with a boyfriend while in Vegas that rocked her. In a picture perfect moment at a club, with VIP and bottle service, Petia saw her then boyfriend talking to another woman and felt a wave of sadness overcome her. She minimized those feelings by being told that she was being over dramatic or emotional but then just a day shy of their 4 year anniversary, the woman that her boyfriend was talking to that night, had emailed her and explained how their affair had started after meeting him in Vegas that night. “And so, that was the moment that I declared, ‘I am not crazy, my intuition was right there, my guidance was there and I have to trust myself more than anyone else.’

My body is guiding me, my soul is guiding me. I am done with people telling me that I’m crazy. I am done with people telling me that I’m too emotional or too much or too little.” She stayed in that relationship for a few more months thinking that he would change but things didn’t. After dating for a bit, she stated that she would rather be alone than lose herself in another relationship. She then gave herself the gift of healing herself, trusting her heart and identifying what she was worthy of. The more she began following her intuition, she noticed that intuition is never logical but rather a magnetic pull that one cannot explain, guiding you toward your highest self. The more she began to listen to it, alongside continuing to heal, she explained that her intuition led her to a business mastermind where she met a man who, five years later, is her husband. “It’s so powerful to see how my intuition was always there, always nudging me and how up until recently (six years ago), I was putting it down.

And yet, there are times when you can’t ignore it.

You cannot plan it or see the big picture that your soul can see that your intuition can truly guide you through.”

“Listening to those nudges, following your curiosity, and honestly, don’t do what everyone else is doing.

Everyone is trying to stay safe and go with the crowd and people like you–if you’re reading this– you know you’re different, you know that you’re special, you know that you’re meant for more.

Deep inside you know that, you know that you’re trying to play it small, and when you stop doing that, you start living. Starting to listen is one of the most powerful practices you can do. Tapping into that [by asking yourself], ‘How do I feel about my intuition?’ Learning how to listen to your intuition is going to be so powerful for you.”

“So often we tune out our intuition and it’s so important in business… but when I started to use my intuition in business, everything started shifting.”

Petia, once again, gave herself permission to be present and listen to heart and from there things came to her that didn’t make sense… but it did to her clients. By removing yourself, you can tap into your innate gifts which come to us easily. She saw with herself and other women, that we struggle with abundance and receiving.

There is value to your experience, to your soul, to your past lives. “There are things I have seen in my meditations or breath-work, it’s not from this time and I allow it to guide me and I allow it to come through me instead of me trying to logically understand it. Learning how to bond the masculine and feminine flows and bring it together. Starting from the feminine, then you can ask yourself ‘Where do I get to go?’ but it’s not the other way around. Your intuition isn’t going to guide you through the tactics and logic and masculine. She cannot breathe there. To run a business, you get have the masculine and understand the bigger impact that requires you to show up on time, to be present, to plan to be there for your team (if you have one) and when you do that, you have to remember that it has to come from your soul and your heart. That’s what makes you different. That is what makes you unique.” While yes, she admits that a lot of the information is already out there, you can google it but you will never get that depth without the guide, without the coach or the mentor who have the broader perspective and can see you.

“We get to remember that how we treat ourselves is how we tell the world and others to treat us.”

For Petia,she begins her day in pure feminine flow with an appreciation for life— a connection with her breath, journaling or simply a gratitude of her surroundings. Treating her body like a temple is another way for her to show herself, physically and emotionally, how she appreciates it. And yes, this means limiting her consumption of processed foods but the trade-off is having an uptake in being able to connect with herself more easily.

Opening, connecting, and allowing her to work on her visions, dreams and expansion always comes from a feminine essence. Showering and getting ready for the day gets her ready to transition into the masculine part of her day— planning, content creation, and nurturing her community, be it her team or mentees. Petia notes that bringing your energy back to the feminine, after so much time in the masculine, is crucial because it gives you space to receive. Whatever receiving means for you— a massage, a nice meal, a conversation.

Those moments of rest allow you to be receptive to people, to connection, to other vessels.

“Since last year, so many things are shifting. What I have realized is that the business and the life that I have created for myself up until now, has been created in the maiden archetype. And now, I started to shift into the mother’s energy— the nurturing, the knowing, the grounded one, the one who doesn’t need to prove herself to anyone or who goes for her desires. It comes back into the knowingness and acting from that place.” This is all encompassing in Petia’s life; her clients shift from not fully knowing their gifts to mothering and guiding them into their power, spiritually and entrepreneurially, marrying the two, as she has done for herself and her business because there is room for both when we embrace ourselves.

Providing women tools in her mastermind and 1:1 coaching, to reward themselves with what they know to be worthy of without the hustle but with all the heart— in business and in life. Petia reminds us that giving from your soul, from your life, is lifegiving.

Ending Generational Trauma

Growing up I thought I had a pretty good childhood.

While my parents did get divorced at the young age of 6, I don’t really remember my parents together.

My mom moved in with her boyfriend a couple of years after they separated in which I inherited 3 older step sisters which was a blessing, although an adjustment at the time. My parents had my little brother and we became a big family of 5 siblings.

My mom worked a few jobs to help pay the bills and my stepdad was an involved dad to all the kids.

In general, they are good parents. My biological father, on the other hand, was a binge-drinking alcoholic, so there would be periods when he was sober. Some weekends he was present, others he wasn’t. As I got older, he had a lot of medical issues mostly stemming from excessive drinking and smoking which caused him to be more emotionally and physically unavailable as a father figure. As a result of his mental state and health, he missed some pretty important events in my life. I thought, even as a kid, that it never bothered me, and I would brush it off. I really didn’t think this had any effect on me as an adult but as I got older I started to realize that there were unhealthy patterns in my relationships. As an adult, I ended up being in a failed marriage to the father of my children due to his cheating. Even prior to marriage, the men I entered relationships with, although each very different, all had some form of toxicity to them, and I was the nice girl in the relationship there to “rescue” and be there for them.

A series of co-dependent relationships would become my pattern. Accepting this behavior from these men I learned that I lacked self-respect, selflove, and worthiness and t I couldn’t understand until the last few years how I managed to attract these situations. I’m a good person with a relatively “normal” childhood.

These unhealthy patterns that I allowed into my life sent me on the spiritual path. I needed to understand why. The only common denominator in these situations is me. If I’m a “good person” why isn’t karma sending me good people? Well, you attract what you are which includes the unhealed parts. The fact was I needed to understand my childhood better. I needed to look at the big picture. Most of our unhealed wounds stem from our childhood and the immediate caregivers in our lives. When I started to look at my parents, I understood the fact that my dad was an alcoholic which stems from some unhealed trauma from his past. He comes from a family of alcoholics as well. Although I don’t know too much about his childhood or my grandparents, alcoholism runs on that side of the family. My mom who was always a good mom had more obvious childhood trauma. Her stepdad beat her as a child, she had to drop out of school to work in a factory at an extremely young age, her brother committed suicide, and her first husband cheated on her, and then there was my dad.

She had immense traumas in her life from when she was a kid. She held onto those traumas for years. The unhealed wounds caused her to suffer from depression on and off for as long as I can remember. I started to dig deep and understand more about where my traumas stem from. This is where generational trauma shed some light on my life. My mom and dad were parented in a way that was out of their control, their parents were parented in a way that was out of their control. Most people, especially generations ago, didn’t look into getting help and seeking therapy. So we really need to have the perspective that our parents parented us the best way they knew how. They are products of their environment. We are born into something that we didn’t create, and that’s something we need to remember.

I think we are all very aware of the word trauma.

It’s something we have all probably experienced at one point or another whether it be big or small. Big traumas could be considered a death of a parent, or abuse. Small traumas could be something like having a parent that misuses substances or having to go to the hospital for stitches. There are many different forms of trauma. When we think about traumas, psychologists really look at the big picture and try to look at your childhood and the circumstances you were raised in, your parent’s history, and what triggers you in the present moment. When traumas happen we can have both physical and emotional reactions. Anything from anxiety, trouble sleeping, feeling lost or confused, feeling disconnected, chest pains, or stomach issues. Generational traumas are when the parents have experienced traumas and it’s had a significant impact upon them across a lifespan. We can view the psychological effects of trauma being transferred from one general to another. The traumatic events that began decades ago, prior to the current generation, have impacted the way the person understands, copes with, and heals from their trauma.

How generational trauma can show up in families can vary in so many different ways. Attachment styles, and how individuals deal with life circumstances and stressors can vary from anxious, avoidant, fearful, or disorganized. A family member might feel emotionally numb or anxious. Some may feel that discussing feelings is a weakness. Some may have outbursts of anger or they may have unhealthy relationship boundaries.

So how can we stop the generational trauma? I think having the awareness of all the different shadow parts of ourselves and really gaining an understanding of how we were parented and the effects it’s had on how we deal with life circumstances. How do we react to a stressor and what triggers us? We need to show compassion to our inner child when these triggers show up and we must become aware of the little voice inside our head putting us down (our ego) or holding us back…we need to look at ourselves in the mirror and see that inner child needing love and security.

We need to feel safe and validated in our emotions and experiences. Children, and we as adults, need to feel unconditional acceptance. Once we become aware we can find other resources to help heal. I am a huge promoter of meditation. It’s had a significant impact on my life. Breathwork has allowed me to be present and release built-up trauma within, and really trust myself and my connection with my own body. There are so many transformational books out there that help with understanding the traumas, shedding light on all the different areas that make you and can give you different perspectives about your journey. Therapists, a life coach, or a counselor should be a part of everyone’s lives at some point.

Talking to someone who understands what you are going through can give you the tools you need to process emotions and stressors in a more healthy way is something everyone should consider.

My vow to my children is that the generational trauma ends on my side of the family. I’m on a path to healing and enlightenment. I refuse to pass on my traumas and my parent’s trauma and their parent’s traumas to my three girls. It is not their burden to carry. They will have their own life circumstances that come up and they will have the abilities and strength to deal with them, but it’s definitely not their burden to carry my circumstances and past traumas. The generational trauma ends here.

This crystal is a beautiful, delicate, blue stone that resonates with ethereal power. The blue color is due to traces of iron that run throughout. It is made from calcium sulfate and is a form of gypsum andis formed when celestite has been compressed for millions of years. It’s a fragile crystal and should be handled with care. Angelite or “Anhydrite” comes from the Greek word “anhydrous” meaning “waterless” because there is not any water in its crystal (it is dehydrated gypsum). That’s why this crystal should not be allowed to get wet or absorb too much moisture as it will eventually turn into soft gypsum.
