Definitely, I turned into the shop’s parking lot where I sat there confused for a moment thinking, “That was weird,” while simultaneously feeling nothing was weird at all. I was perplexed, yet wildly satisfied at my act of rebellion. I walked into the shop where a woman was standing by the display decks of cards, shuffling. One card flew out and I giggled, “Oh! A jumper! I only play jumpers,” and winked at her. We laughed, bonding over the Rebel Oracle - which adorns messages in f-bombs and sass and she looked at me and said, “I really like your energy, can I hold your hand? I’m one of the mediums here.” OF COURSE, I said, thinking this must be exactly why I ended up here. I was hoping August would come through, but little did I know what was about to happen. He shook me to my core, again.

Without hesitation, she said, “I have a very handsome man here,” as she started tapping on my right arm. I smirked, because August was very handsome. “He says he really likes what you’ve done here, and I’m smelling roses.” My interest peaked. How did this lady know that under all my layers of winter clothes I had a full sleeve in remembrance of him on the same arm she was tapping, complete with roses? But what really got me was what she said next.

“He says he’s taking credit for you being here. Like you weren’t going to come but he forced you. Does that make sense to you?” I was shaking. I explained how moments ago after I drove all the way to shop, I had talked myself out of it and suddenly was overcome with this defiant energy that would not have any part of me missing walking through those doors. I had no idea what happened to cause me to go so feral, but I surrendered and assumed it was on purpose and for a purpose. She smiled and explained to me he channeled through me, something I never knew was possible, let alone possible for me.

She got excited and looked at me with the most loving eyes and said, “You know you’re a medium, too, right?”

I immediately laughed and replied with “No way. If I was a medium I wouldn’t have spent so much money on mediums getting me through these last 9 years.”

“Oh no, you are. A powerful one.”

She continued to ask me questions about my experiences and abilities, put pieces together I never knew were missing, and I thought to myself this all makes so much sense. I had the abilities, but nobody ever taught me how to use them. WTF. I left the shop with nothing but her phone number, and my world expanded.

I went down the rabbit hole soaking it all in. I invested in long term mentorships with local and internationally known mediums. One of which, my soul had been obsessed with for over two decades. No wonder I was obsessed with everything she put out, my soul knew and was guiding me to my purpose. After completing these mentorships, I got certified as a Usui Reiki Master and I took my understanding of psychic & spirit energy and expanded into the quantum field, mastering energetics, manifestations and understanding how this universal energy was all connected. I blended all the knowledge together. I played and experimented, understanding we all have this infinite potential to create our realities. I went from survival to creation, discovering I manifest instantly when I dial my energy in. I was able to manifest purchasing my first home as a single mom, over $300,000 in one year, create a six-figure passive income stream and become an entrepreneurial badass of a mystical business where I’ve connected with an amazing group of women also expanding in the energetic space. August led me to purpose with my abilities and new perspectives, but more importantly, a fire was lit under my ass to live more and stop just existing.

This rebirth gave me the ability to change the trajectory of others’ lives, too. I get to work with clients who are ready for their own rebirth, whatever that may look like for them. I lead them to clarity in their abilities and manifesting their own realities. I get to make an impact for those ready to stop playing small, unlock their magic, and amplify their life. I get to mentor my clients toward portals of freedom, wealth, and magic they never knew they were capable of, but always have been. Every one of us are. I am lit TF up after rediscovering my light, and get amped daily, helping others find theirs. We rise together.

In a full circle moment, I delivered a message to that same medium who I bonded with over that jumper in 2020. I brought her dad through, a tall, quiet man with a drink in his hand, and she broke down in tears. She explained to me through the emotions he had never come through for anyone before, but he chose me, and then she explained why. He too, lost his life to suicide, and because I lived through a similar experience, he knew I wouldn’t judge him. I’ve been marked as a “safe” medium in the spirit realm for anyone who chose to leave this world on their own terms, on their own timeline. And I hold that sacred.

August is one of my guides now. He believes he can guide me better from there than here. He’s still just as sassy and stubborn as ever, a Marine who takes his duties very seriously.

He used to say to me, “Ain’t nobody on this planet better than you,” and he wants me to remind you, ain’t nobody on this planet better than you, either.
