AN UNDERSTANDING ON THE UNION OF WEALTH AND WORTH

Okay, my loves. This is it… the third secret in the Trifecta of the Wealthy Woman. Money will always find you when you own your worth. Most often I see women not attracting money because they don’t believe they can… or worse, they don’t believe they should.

We as women have many wounds that are collective, ancestral, patriarchal, and individual that tell us all the reasons why we aren’t worthy of wealth.

We hear that it is greedy to want money and that it isn’t spiritual to desire more. We hear that we have enough and are taken care of, and if we take more then others will lack. We learn to play small, give and nurture until we die, and to be grateful for where we are, never wanting more.

As young girls we are often told that everything about us is inherently lacking. We are “less than” the male species, and even less worthy if we are people of color.

Fuck all of that. Burn it to the ground.

Burn it.

When a thought comes up, you release it immediately.

You are so worthy of wealth. You are worthy of every single thing in this life that you desire. You have these desires for a reason. We as spiritual leaders consistently channel and work to be in tune with Sacred energy… why would we assume our desires are anything less than a deep divine plan?

You are doing an injustice to your purpose, your potential, and your path by playing small. It’s time to release the wounds. It is time to own your worth. Only then, will wealth come sweeping through… because she sees you owning it first.

When I was a teenager, every Friday night before I could meet up with my friends, I had to clean an office building with my parents. Money was tight.

My father’s construction business was struggling and my parents picked up some cleaning jobs to make ends meet. So, every Friday I walked around a large square, brown building and emptied trash cans and vacuumed. I was so embarrassed and felt so much shame that I never told my friends why I always met them late.

Fifteen years later, I was a lawyer and just started my own firm. I had one part-time employee. Every Friday night, I lingered behind at my office after my employee left and I cleaned my own office.

I emptied trash cans, vacuumed, and cleaned the bathrooms. I was so afraid that I wouldn’t have enough income the next week, that I had to scrimp and save everywhere I could. Cleaning was something I could do. While my parents taught me the value of elbow grease and hard work, the story I held around money was one of scarcity. I was always worried there would never be enough. Then when I layered a divorce onto some old money stories, I found myself worrying about when it would run out instead of letting it work for me and flow to me.

As a divorce attorney, I’ve seen so many clients letting their old money conditioning dictate their decisions in their present life. From staying in a toxic marriage to spending a hundred thousand dollars fighting over it, money controlled their every decision. Money was never actually the problem. The mindset those clients held around money was the problem. In other words, how you think about money, how you let it control you, what you were raised to believe about money is actually what controls whether you have enough of it. To change your relationship with money, you have to THINK like a Money Boss and you have to ACT like a Money Boss. Let’s break it down further.

Thinking like a Money Boss means you identify your old money conditioning and change up the story you’ve been telling yourself. If you are being really honest with yourself, you will start to see a common theme of how your past has shaped your present. And, if you don’t change the old ways, you will bring that conditioning into your future. In my situation, I was holding onto this perception that at any time, I would run out of money so I needed to clench it tightly and not use it. The minute I started allowing money to work for me, that is, gain back time that I could redirect into things that actually helped money to flow in, was the minute my business soared, the clients rolled in, and my old conditioning was smashed to pieces because it had not served me well.

If you are being honest with your answers, you should start to see some patterns from your past and how they play a role in your present money situation, as I did when I dug deep. To rewrite your money mindset and to start to think like a Money Boss, read these affirmations, keep them handy, and turn back to them every time you find yourself sliding into your old money ways.

The next step is to ACT like a Money Boss. In order to take charge of your money, you need to get up and close personal with how you are currently using money. The simplest way to do this is to take an hour every single month and comb through all of your credit card statements and bank statements and get really clear on where your money is going.

Eliminate any expenses that are not aligned with your goals. Do you really need a subscription to every channel? You’ll be surprised at how quickly those little fees add up. When you take time every month to examine how you are using money, you start to change your behavior. You fill the cart less because you start to understand that the new shoes don’t align with your goal to save for the house, or the vacation, or the mastermind. When you take control of how you spend money, you are re-aligning your spending habits to make the biggest influence in your life because now you have access to money that can work for you. It’s a simple step with monumental impact.

THIS MONTH’S CRYSTAL IS PYRITE, ALSO KNOWN AS “FOOL’S GOLD”

THE STONE OF SAFETY AND PROSPERITY! Known for its metallic luster and reputation as the ultimate crystal for manifesting wealth and abundance.

Pyrite or iron pyrite is also known as Fool’s Gold. Found in Canada, Mexico, Namibia, Peru, and Spain. It is the most abundant sulfide mineral, which means it has sulfurs and other compounds found in metals, which is what gives it the metallic look and texture and the pale brass-yellow reflective colors.

Pyrite is a beautiful and unusual stone, getting its name as early as 1492 by the Greeks who labeled it “pyr” (fire) because of the sparks created when two stones are clashed together. Pyrite is most often mined for the gold, copper or other elements associated with it. It used to be polished by Native Americans in early times and used as mirrors. And because of its metallic-like structure, pyrite has been used throughout the years in many ways. It was used with flintstone, especially in Australia as a traditional method of starting fires.

This stone/crystal is touted around the world because of its similarity to real gold. But it’s gifts and properties are worth far more than gold riches. It is a crystal of protection and can support you in manifesting financial abundance. It might be known as “Fool’s Gold” but it is no fool in being able to get rid of negative forces and clear out old, stagnant thoughts and patterns and especially those surrounding money. Pyrite can help you claim your power and potential and will protect you from negative forces or psychic attacks that may block your ability to release any false beliefs about yourself and money.

Pyrite can help unblock creative flow and you can use it to help manifest and attract financial abundance. When you wear or hold pyrite, you open a gateway of positive energy for attracting success, prosperity, and good luck. Charging your pyrite to attract money and then placing it on your solar plexus chakra will help you to radiate confidence and attract opportunities for wealth. How to Cleanse and Charge: Charge it on a selenite charging plate or place it with your other crystals under the full moon. Or put it out in the sunlight to align with its fire element. Just be careful when you pick it back up, it will be hot from the sun. You may also use sage or palo santo.

To clean it, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Pyrite doesn’t like to be in water as it will discolor and rust.

I have always grown up with so many interests and it used to feel overwhelming. As a consequence, I didn’t always know what I wanted, simply because I didn’t ask myself. Simple exercise, but difficult to execute. I didn’t even know where to begin.

Curiously, I only started exploring these types of questions after my last breakup. It figuratively undressed me. Post breakup, I threw myself into everything: dating, partying, working, and just generally keeping busy – until the pandemic shut everything down. I was out of a job, no boyfriend, and suddenly found myself with a whole lot of time on my hands. I took up daily running, getting decent sleep, created a routine, and job searched. Something was missing. I often spoke to my mom about how I was hovering – a sentiment I recently coined to describe the feeling of wanting to do more, knowing I can do it now, but didn’t know where to begin.

One evening, I got my answer. I collapsed onto the floor of my bathroom. I was safe – I had some girlfriends over for some drinks and gossip, but after they left, I was so sad from the lack of…serotonin, the busyness, distraction from how sad I was, I felt overcome by the need to sleep. I fell to the floor and remained there, lost in my thoughts. It was the strangest feeling and I came back to earth, cold and tired, but I had an answer, I needed help; I wanted to change.

My mom thought it was time I met Courtney. In October 2020, we had our exploratory call, I expressed I was sad, unemployed, close to broke, and oh so lost. She ended our call with, “This is going to be great!”

It took several sessions for Courtney and I to get to know each other. I promised myself I would be absolutely truthful with her; about the areas I needed to work on and areas where I wanted to shine.

Courtney created what I can only describe as a personalized business strategy: outlining my long-term goals and strategies and tactics. For brevity, my goals were employment, love (including self-love) and success. Each following year has spotlighted one of these goals, and the others took more of a supporting role, but it has all been integrated.

We came to discover I was living in survivor mode, always making decisions in desperation, in need, in want, and it yielded terrible results. I was dating men who didn’t treat me the way I wanted because they were the wrong men and in the end, they would

break up with me; I was accepting jobs, working myself to the bone and getting fired and clueless as to why. I look back on it and would beat myself up for failing; blaming myself for not making it work. It never occurred to me that it wasn’t meant to be.

I was accepting things the universe threw my way, even if they weren’t in my highest alignment. The crazy thing is, I knew this all along. You know that gut feeling, or the inner voice? Brene Brown calls it the ‘knowing’, Courtney and I know it as our intuition.

There are several things I needed to do before I could call in what I wanted: a good job, a loyal and strong love, for instance. Now, I’m not saying that what I did is prescriptive, but it truly has helped me: I gave up dating indefinitely and rebuilt my confidence.

I was emotionally unavailable (or in Courtney’s term, I was in my masculine) and attracting the wrong men.

The truth was I was attracting that kind of man because I didn’t know what I wanted.

Not dating looked like hanging out with my friends, with no ulterior motive to meet someone. I was enjoying the moment, going home alone, no good night texts, no good morning texts, no dopamine hits from men pinging me all the time or having access to me. It was a slow progression, but I found calm and with that calm I started creating ideas of what I wanted in life.

Finally at a place of peace or homeostasis, Courtney and I worked on gaining my confidence by coaching me on how to listen to my inner voice by distinguishing what does and doesn’t feel good. I would go out in the world and collect data and debrief with Courtney, “I didn’t like the way I over-explained with this person when I didn’t want to do something” or “My roommate did something that upset me and when I expressed it, they flipped out.” Courtney and I would work on what I absorbed from these situations and what I leave.

From these small experiences, I gained confidence from being able to distinguish what I wanted in my life and what I didn’t.

When I was ready to date, I kept in my mind what I wanted: someone who was serious about getting to know me. I went on three dates with three different men. The first two weren’t bad, but they weren’t what I wanted, so I filtered them out. I was apprehensive about going on the third date, but when I finally met him, it was peace. He didn’t give me butterflies, he didn’t activate me in any way, he mirrored the peace I felt on the regular and I thought, “This is him.”

As far as my other goals – job and success – I have been recently promoted in my day job, and on the side, I have co-founded an organization that allows me to interview women in motorsport. With time and self-reflection, I was able to get clear on the type of job and workplace I wanted to be part of and I came to realize I had a talent for interviewing and creating content, shining a light on a niche area of sport.

Dear reader, this whole blog has been about manifestation. You’ve probably heard a lot about manifestation through Reels or TikToks and it sounds easy; and in truth, it is.

However, before you can get to a place of manifesting, there is so much healing, clearing, and releasing you need to do to become the person who knows what they want, and knows that they are inherently worthy of their desires. Courtney was a guiding light in this journey.

A little less than three years later, I am employed, engaged, strong in my resolve, very clear on what I want and how to go after it. I have a very fulfilling hobby on the side, I am happy, confident in my choice; I feel guided and supported. Some people say this happens in your 30s, but I don’t think this would have happened had I not wanted to change something and followed through.

Everything I have in my life I have called in and curated. I am at peace.
