Job Summary: The Peer Delivery Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in advancing the reach and impact of NEXT Distro's harm reduction efforts. This position primarily involves spearheading the expansion and management of the Peer Delivery Program across New York state and ensuring that underserved populations such as TGNC PWUD, black and brown communities, and sex workers have access to vital safer use supplies through efficient and well-coordinated distribution processes. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Director of Impact, affiliates, and partners to strengthen our secondary distribution program and support individuals in areas lacking traditional in-person services.
Responsibilities:
● Provide training and ongoing support to peer delivery agents, empowering them to effectively distribute harm reduction supplies and resources in underserved communities. ● Assist in ordering and organizing the distribution of harm reduction supplies to peer delivery agents and secondary distributors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. ● Develop and execute strategies in collaboration with the Director of Impact to expand the Peer Delivery Program within New York State, identifying potential agents and fostering partnerships with community organizations. ● Maintain regular communication with peer delivery agents and secondary distributors, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a sense of community and support. ● Collaborate with affiliates, partners, and other stakeholders to enhance the program's reach and effectiveness, particularly in areas with limited access to traditional harm
