Uses of Artificial Intelligence Software in Medicine and Education The use of artificial intelligence applicatio ns is not a new idea. It has been around for years and decades. However, the recent use of such software has proved its worth in several ways. There have been many breakthroughs and improvements on artificial intelligence over the past decade or so. In fact, it is only a ma tter of time before such software becomes commonplace and becomes widely used. Basically, artificial intelligence software is a program that is designed to take a raw data set and make relevant decisions based on the data. With the help of large databases, it is able to make inferences, generalizations, predictions, and even work out solutions to difficult problems. Today, there are many applications and uses for artificial intelligence software. It can be used for all sorts of things in industries such as transportation, healthcare, retail, finance, and even politics. Applications and uses of artificial intelligence software can be further categorized into three main categories: autonomous, semi -autonomous, and robotic. First off, autonomous artificial inte lligent software is one where an artificial intelligent system is capable of making decisions without human supervision or direct input. Such a system can be an artificially intelligent computer software program that can perform tasks like taking driving l essons, planning a trip, cooking a meal, and playing games. Such systems are called autonomous because they can do these tasks without any external human input. Such systems can also be controlled by one person in the same room as they are controlling the artificial intelligence software that is in charge of their daily operations. Next is semi-autonomous artificial intelligence software. This type of artificial intelligence software allows the user to program the system to perform specific tasks. For instance, if the user wants the system to play a game, the program can be told to play a game according to the rules the user defined. In this way, the user does not have to exert themselves physically in order for the artificial intelligence software to achieve what it set out to do. The system is still partially autonomous however, since it is controlled by human experts over the Internet or other networks the artificial intelligence software is linked to. The third type of artificial intelligence software is a robotic one. Such software can be used by any person, which includes businesses, governments, and even non humanoid machines.
