Let's delve into this important subject in a mutual learning space with community members and experts from different areas.

Through this eNCounter program we aim to prompt a change in perceptions to act better globally and locally.

A change in perception, is a change of action

The community of Paraiso Paraiso is a community formed by 120 families who began living together since the early 2000s. These families migrated to Lima from their hometowns in the Jungle, Andes, Coast of Peru, in search of better opportunities. Some left because they were escaping the pollution that originated by extractive companies, and others because of the Internal War in the 80s.

Paraiso citizens, specially women who are in charge of the community collective "Shared Pots" (a community iniatiative to feed the population by cooking together), will be participating in the sessions and exchanging their thoughts and experience throughout the program.
