Membership of the New Zealand Bar Association | Ngā Ahorangi Motuhake o Te Ture is open to every person who is the holder of a current practising certificate to practice as a Barrister in New Zealand. The general functions of the Association are to promote and encourage a strong and independent bar. The Association promotes the interests of barristers and the separate independent bar, and the interests of the public in relation to legal representation and the operation of the judicial system generally.
