would like to take this opportunity to congratulate each and every one of you on your successful completion of high school; a senior year you’ll never forget. Although the spring semester was interrupted, please don’t allow that to take away from the great memories you have created with friends and classmates over the past four years here at Mount Olive High School. I can assure you, many of the friendships that have been made will stay with you for a lifetime. I want to thank you all for your contributions to our school over the last four years; they have not gone unnoticed. Always remember that you have a home here at MOHS, and we wish you all nothing but the best in your future!

Mount Olive High School Students, ongratulations on behalf of the County College of Morris, its Board of Trustees, Administration, Faculty and Staff!

You have lived through a senior year like no other class before you. In these unprecedented times, you have shown resiliency and determination while learning greater self-advocacy skills and making giant strides as strong and independent learners. These skills, and many others that you have recently acquired or strengthened, have prepared you to succeed in college, the workforce and life in general.

Having completing the requirements for graduation at one of the best high schools in the United States, and having worked with exceptional teachers, a caring support staff and visionary administrators, you are more than ready for anything that your future will offer. In fact, you are ready to shape your future and create an impact that will most certainly make our world a better place.

There are many things that are uncertain about our immediate future, but one thing remains constant, the world is still yours if you are willing to work hard and follow your dreams. With so much uncertainty, I urge you to make bold and ambitious plans for your future. Do not put your life on hold.

Message from the Student Council President To the Class of 2020, s Mr. Stansberry once said, “The Class of 2020 is one of the best classes to ever come through Mount Olive High School”.

Despite the current struggle to stay optimistic as we deal with the hardships of this pandemic, I just wanted to take a moment to remind my classmates why Mr. Stansberry gave us that title. We are a group of people that exemplify positivity, academic excellence, teamwork, and determination. After four years at MOHS, our grade has gone to Metlife, won Robotics Championships, beat two classes in Powderpuff, and motivated all of our underclassmen to strive for the same success that we do. We are a class full of hard workers, which can clearly be seen by the amount of students continuing their education and traveling to prestigious universities all over the country. While the timing of this crisis has made our last few months in high school unorthodox, we are the best group of people to take this hardship in stride as we wait with hope to be reunited at graduation.

It would be a lie to say that we aren’t disappointed with the fact that we don’t get to see

our favorite teachers in between classes, eat lunch on the senior patio, play our final seasons of sports or even perform for the last time with choir, band, orchestra or drama. While I am just as upset as you, I urge my classmates to remember all of the achievements we have made and how our legacy as the “alpha class” will be remembered for years to come. It has been an honor for me to storm the field with you on Friday Night Lights, cry with laughter at the Powderpuff Cheerleaders, dance the night away during Snowland and hopefully walk at graduation with the friends I have made in this class. While the situation isn’t what we dreamed it would be, I implore you to look back on the memories that you’ve made and the people that you’ve touched as we prepare to leave MOHS. The Class of 2020 is most definitely one of the most memorable and driven classes to pass through Mount Olive, and I couldn’t be more proud to say that I got to be a part of it. No matter what happens in the upcoming months, we can pridefully look back on the legacy that we made together. Thank you for a fantastic and unforgettable four years.
