Pasco County Sheriff Opens New Substation At Wiregrass Mall

By Matt Wiley Shoppers should be on their best behavior because there’s a new sheriff in Wesley Chapel. Well, not a new sheriff, but there is a new Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) substation now open at the Shops at Wiregrass Mall.

The 1,535-square-foot substation was constructed using inmate labor and will serve as PCSO’s District Office for southeast Pasco County.

“We saved thousands of dollars — taxpayer dollars — using inmate labor,” said Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco to the crowd of about 130 during the ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 26.

“We were also able to use federal forfeiture dollars — drug money — to build this out. This was a shell before. The best part about it is we’re using drug dealer money to give something back to our community.”

A Taste Recap & Video; Plus, Please Support These Great Events!

As I looked out over the 2012 Taste of New Tampa@, I made a promise to myself to be more involved with the event next year. With fewer than 20 restaurants participating and fewer than 2,000 attendees for the first time in recent memory (probably ever), I realized that without plenty of restaurants — and yes, beer and wine always helps, too — there is no Taste.

So, the day after the 2012 Taste, which was moved from the Shops at Wiregrass mall to Paul R. Wharton High in New Tampa about a month before the event, I called my good friend and New Tampa Chamber of Commerce president Rachel Haviland and told her that I wanted to make an offer to take control of the 2013 Taste, which just happens to be its big 20thyear milestone anniversary!

I will keep you posted!

Local Relays For Life — April 27 & May 11!

North, Temple Terrace and Wesley Chapel Noon Rotary Clubs, are all so proud to present the ninth annual New Tampa Rotary PigFest on “Cinqo de Mayo,” Saturday, May 5, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at St. Mark Catholic Church on Cross Creek Blvd. in New Tampa.

PigFest co-chairs Peter Gambacorta and Robert Garofano are promising to deliver 2,000 attendees — more than twice last year’s recordof more than 900 attendees. In addition, this year’s event will have a focus on “woman-owned businesses” — nine BBQ teams slow-roasting pigs and

The American Cancer Society (ACS) continues its search for a cure as it helps those afflicted with and those affected by this devastating disease.

The Wesley Chapel & Wiregrass Ranch Relay for Life events will be held at and around the running track at those schools on Friday, April 27 & Friday, May 11, respectively. Both events begin at 6 p.m. Friday and end by noon the next day. Each Relay team has to keep one team member walking on the track through the night in celebration of the ongoing fight to eradicate cancer and to honor the memory of those who have succumbed to this most heinous of illnesses.

At our press time, there were 196 Wesley Chapel Relay participants on 26 teams that already had raised more than $18,000 with four weeks still to go until the event is held. Meanwhile, more than six weeks before the Wiregrass Ranch Relay, there were 111 participants on 28 teams that had raised more than $7,000.

Wesley Chapel Man In High-Speed Chase After a high-speed chase in Hernando County, a Wesley Chapel man has been arrested on numerous charges. Additional charges were added after the suspect already was in custody.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), Benito Cuevas, of 3830 Loury Dr., was arrested around 3 a.m. on March 20 after crashing his car into a tree in the front yard of a private residence near the intersection of Deltona Blvd. and Meadow Lark Rd. in Spring Hill, following a high-speed chase.

Cuevas was charged with driving with a suspended license (for the second time), failing to register his vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident where damage was involved and attempting to elude police officers.

But, according to authorities, this was just the beginning.

Cuevas' girlfriend, Victoria Valentin, also was in the vehicle, a Chevrolet Cavalier. She told deputies that Cuevas had tossed a gun out the window during the chase.

News Briefs After Cuevas was booked at the Hernando County jail, an officer found the gun that Cuevas threw out of the vehicle during the pursuit. He Benito Cuevas was charged with carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a concealed weapon during a felony around 10 a.m. March 20.

According to an arrest affidavit, Cuevas is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, April 10. He is being held at the Hernando County Jail on a $41,250 bond.

Spice Smoker Beats Father With Broom A little “Spice” does not make everything nice.

At least that is the case for one Wesley Chapel man who was taken into custody after smoking the synthetic drug and physically assaulting his father.

According to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) report, Edward Walter O'Rourke was drinking and smoking “Spice,” a synthetic version of

marijuana, in his garage at 30909 Sade Ct. in Wesley Chapel on March 22, but that is not the reason he was taken to the Land O' Lakes jail.

The report says that authorities were called after O'Rourke, 46, began beating his father, an 84-year-old, with the brush-end of a broom. A deputy arrived around 6 p.m. and attempted to arrest O'Rourke, but had to call for backup when he began to resist.

O'Rourke has been charged with aggravated assault and battery on a person older than 65. He is being held at Land O' Lakes jail without bail.

“Spice” is an herbal incense that, when smoked, produces a physical and mental reaction similar to the reaction that comes from smoking marijuana.

The drug comes in many different forms with various names, many mimicking the names of different marijuana strains.

The synthetic drug can be purchased at most gas stations and convenience stores, although there has been a push recently to try to prohibit the sale of the “incense” due to Walter the unpredictable reactions it proO’Rourke

New Tampa Man Arrested For Possessing Child Porn A New Tampa man who was arrested on February 29 for possession of child pornography has admitted to his crimes.

Edsel Capili, 40, of 20122 Weeping Laurel Pl. in New Tampa, has been charged with 11 counts of child pornography and was released from Orient Rd. jail February 29 on an Edsel Capili $82,500 bond.

Deputies say that the arrest follows a month-long investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) Internet Predator Unit. Capili was in possession of files depicting children under the age of 13 engaged in various sexual acts that were discovered on two of his computers and several hard drives, as well as numerous CDs and DVDs. Capili, an AT&T software engineer, admitted to possessing child pornography after being read his Miranda rights.

House Redistricting Map Passes; Senate Map Getting Second Look Off to the Florida Supreme Court the Senate Redistricting map goes yet again. After being by the Florida House, the newly redrawn (again) Senate Redistricting map will head to the Supreme Court for 30 days so that the justices can review and decide if the map is constitutional and does not violate any new anti-gerrymandering laws.

The Senate map was redrawn after the initial map was rejected by a 5-2 vote from the Court on March 9. A special 15-day legislative session, which began on March 14, was ordered so that the Senate could try to once again come up with a redistricting map that the Court would approve.

In the initial Supreme Court report, 32 of the 40 Senate Districts were approved, but eight specific districts needed to be redrawn.

The Court voted unanimously (70) on the last day of the 2012 Florida legislative session to pass the Florida

House district maps. This means that, as previously reported in Neighborhood News, Wesley Chapel will be in House District 38, which is now an all-PascoCounty district. New Tampa is now entirely within House District 63, along with the University of South Florida (USF) area and Old Carrollwood.

“We are very pleased that (the Supreme Court) validated our maps,” says District 38 (previously District 61) Rep. Will Weatherford (R – Wesley Chapel), whose district had included some Hillsborough residents.

Florida House, Senate and U.S. Congressional District maps are redrawn every ten years, after the national census is conducted. Districts are redrawn according to population shifts in the census data. A November amendment to the Florida Constitution (the “Fair Districts Amendment”) requires districts to be drawn without regard to political parties.— Matt Wiley

Great Furniture Doesn’t Have To Be New At Home Again Interiors

By Sheryl Young Robin and Scott Winter are like “furniture matchmakers.” At the couple’s Home Again Interiors, in the Shoppes at New Tampa plaza (at the southeast corner of Bruce B. Downs Blvd. and S.R. 56, just south of the Shops at Wiregrass mall), the couple matches those looking for great style with new and like-new furniture that needs and deserves a second chance.

Home Again is a unique furniture and accessories consignment store , just south of the Shoppes at Wiregrass mall.

The Winters say some of the reasons people buy and sell furniture through a consignment shop are estate sales, relocation, redecorating, or moving to a place where their old items won’t fit. In some cases, high-quality and classic furniture might be needed to temporarily stage a house for sale.

The shop also gets new pieces from stores that have closed.

“Sometimes, we even acquire brand new items from model homes,” says Robin. “And a customer can drop off their old furniture to sell and walk out with new rooms (of furniture).”

A tour around the store yields an eyeful of beautiful things, all staged to look like they're already at home — from canopy-covered beds, comfy,

overstuffed sofas and painted armoires to classic dining sets and much more.

Every vase, picture and lamp also is for sale, most at better prices than at most retail stores.

At Home Again Interiors, customers can find anything ranging from Louis XIV-era replicas to authentic antiques to modern Florida-style casual seating and even whimsical statues.

“But, the trends today are toward dark, substantial wood tones,” explains Robin. “We have plenty of everything.”

She explains how consignments work at the store: “The customers who bring things in for consignment sign a contract,” she says. “We agree on a starting price at that time, although the price will be reduced by 15 percent every 30 days.

Around one month is our average turnaround time for a sale, but we’ll keep an item on the floor for 90 days. After that, the old owner has the option of taking it back, reducing it by 50 percent for two more weeks, or donating it to charity, for which they'll get a tax writeoff.”

No haggling is done on prices at the store. Fair market value for each piece is based on its condition.

“We are very fair,” Scott says, pointing to a heavy marble-top table that was appraised at $12,000 but is

Although traditional orthodontic care doesn't usually begin until the ages of 12-14, Dr. Dau recommends

patients come to see him between the ages of eight and ten — not for braces, but instead to set a plan for a healthy smile. He emphasizes the importance of planning a comfortable treatment, rather than forcibly trying to align teeth in place. At those early ages, a retainer may be recommended or possibly some baby teeth being pulled. Actual treatment with braces would still not usually start until between the ages of 12 and 14.

“I don’t like starting braces early,” Dau says, adding that he prefers to only have to put someone through braces one time in their lives.

Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre Combines Caring & Technology!

Dr. Timothy D. Hodge, D.V.M., and his staff have a passion for pets that has resonated through their use of new technology — and superior customer service — since the veterinary hospital first opened in 2003.

Cross Creek is a full-service animal hospital now located in the Cory Lake Isles Professional Center off of Cross Creek Blvd. in New Tampa, geared towards helping dogs, cats and “pocket pets,” such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets.

“Patients usually want to come back,” Hodge says. “We tell them to see how one laser session goes. They usually call back and say they want to set up a package.”

At Cross Creek, Hodge says he likes to get to the bottom of the problem and eliminate it completely.

“It’s what I consider ‘un-stacking the deck of cards,’” he says. “Every time I do a laser session, I’m taking off a certain amount of cards from the stack. Eventually, you want to get down to as low as possible, so there’s no pain, no discomfort; that’s all gone.”

By using the laser to reduce inflammation and irritation with different pet ailments, Hodge says it helps to reduce the amount of oral medication he has to prescribe for the pet. “If we can get these pets off chronic medication, that’s great,” he says.

Another technique Hodge uses to try to offer alternatives to oral medication is the Eastern practice of acupuncture to treat common pet issues, such as arthritis. He uses Western medical practices to diagnose the problem, and then offers acupuncture as a treatment option to “help the body heal itself.”

“I like to think of it more as ‘integrated medicine,’” he says. “We use a little of (Eastern and Western medicine) to optimize our care for the pets.”

Cross Creek does not practice what Hodge describes as “shotgun medicine,” where a person brings in a

pet and the vet just writes a prescription and sends them on their way. He says that getting to use cutting-edge technology and run his practice his way were always his goals.

“I was an associate vet for seven years, so I worked under another doctor, who was the owner of that clinic,” he explains. “At that point, I thought I was ready to branch out on my own. I kind of had my own ideas of how I would run a place, how I would do certain things.”

In 2003, he decided to make his dream a reality and started Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre from scratch, instead of moving his office into someone else’s previous location.

“At that point, everything you plan is basically how you want it,” he explains. “You’re not going in and buying a facility that’s already set up a certain way with a certain thought process, and then you’ve got to mold that to your way. It was easier to just start from the beginning, my way, and then have everything develop after that.”

In 2011, Dr. Hodge and Cross Creek moved to their current facility in the Cory Lake Isles Professional Center, just down the street on Cross Creek Blvd. from their previous location in another retail center.

“I love this area,” says Hodge.

“The community is wonderful.”

Lawrence Miccolis, P.A. - Attorney, Mediator & Former Chopper Pilot

By Matt Wiley At first glance, it may be hard to believe that just a few years ago, Lawrence Miccolis, P.A., was flying CH-53E helicopters as a U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Colonel. Dressed in a professional business suit and seated in the lobby of the Intercontinental Hotel in the bustling Westshore district of Tampa, Miccolis has spent his time since retiring from the Corps practicing law across Tampa Bay, including the New Tampa area.

“I thought about (practicing law) for many years, but decided to fly first,” says Miccolis. “After I retired, as things came together, I thought that this would be a profession that I would enjoy doing.”

Miccolis, a New Tampa resident, retired from the Marine Corps in 2004, after more than 20 years of service.

Through his full-service, small, mobile law firm, Miccolis works with clients on everything from small-to-mid-sized business counseling, dispute resolution and estate planning to helping ensure that U.S. military veterans receive the benefits they deserve.

“A large part of what I do is trying to help people prevent problems,” he says. “The other part of it is helping

people through solutions. If you don’t have to get into a huge dispute, what’s the most efficient way to solve the problem? That’s kind of the philosophy of this firm.”

Although he primarily deals with civil litigation, Miccolis says that his specialty is small business counseling, helping entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground.

“I make sure there are good contracts and agreements in place to protect themselves and their customers,” he says. “That’s very satisfying to me.”

Miccolis says that many of the businesses he has worked with have continued to prosper in the face of this difficult economy and have appreciated the fact that he has been able to bring things to their attention to help protect them — the business owners, as well as the businesses themselves. Miccolis says he enjoys helping people make better agreements for the businesses and for their customers.

“As the laws have changed, I’ve been able to provide insights to (my clients) to help them decide which direction to take with their businesses,” he explains.

During his time in the military, Miccolis says that he saw all types of people in different situations from all walks of life, both in this country and abroad, from dire financial situations to

dealing with personal tragedies.

“I’ve dealt with people in other nations — the western Pacific, the Middle East, etc. — at the governmental level,” he says. “I understand how governments operate and I understand how businesses operate, and these cultures are different. I think that experience has given me a ‘leg up’ in sensitivity in the many situations I may face here, locally.”

Miccolis started his mobile firm in 2010, after becoming licensed to practice law in the state of Florida. In addition to graduating from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, FL, in 2009, he also boasts a Master’s degree in Operations Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA., as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University in Villanova, PA. While in law school at Stetson, Miccolis was involved with the school’s Moot Court program, in which law students participate in simulated law cases, giving oral arguments and writing court briefs. Miccolis was selected to be on the Moot Court Board, a prestigious honor, and has since become an advocacy skills trainer, helping to coach current law students who participate in

He also took advantage of another opportunity while at Stetson that has become a regular part of his law practice: Miccolis became a certified mediator for “alternative dispute resolution.”

“Essentially, in the pre-litigation process (in a civil case), it’s an opportunity for the parties to solve problems by themselves,” he says. “It can be courtordered or they can do it on their own.

An impartial third party comes in and will listen to the each party’s issues and help facilitate a solution if it’s at all possible. I thought that was a nice opportunity and fit for my personality and professional demeanor to help folks through that process.”

One feature that makes Miccolis’ firm stand out from others in the area is that it is mobile. He offers a very personalized service, where he visits with clients in their homes or businesses at their best convenience and according to their schedules. Since he works in both north/New and south Tampa, he hasn’t yet committed to office space at either location.

“I try to make people comfortable,” he says. “When I meet them at their home or business, it helps put people at ease.”

The reason it’s easy for Miccolis to stay mobile is because he currently is

the entire law practice. With only the help of his wife, Annmarie, Miccolis is able to counsel clients, while Annmarie handles the administrative part of the business from home.

“We’ve got our distinct personalities, but we work very well together,” he says. “She takes very good care of the details on the administrative side of things.” The two have shared 27 years of marriage and have two sons.

“I maintain most of the administrative planning and office management for the firm, which enables my husband to focus on personal service to his clients,” says Annmarie. “He relies on me for taking care of everything from maintaining files to tracking expenses and marketing.”

“I wouldn’t be here without Annmarie,” he confesses. “She’s been a huge source of support for me.”

Miccolis says he does eventually plan on potentially settling down somewhere in the New Tampa area and opening a permanent office.

But, for now, Miccolis is a man on the move.

“I’ll go the extra mile to help folks out,” he says. “If they need help at whatever time of day it is, I will make myself available.”

March ‘Meow-ness’ Hits Home At Wesley Chapel Elementary

The WCE class that collected the most cans received five days of physical education for the week, getting to choose the activities, while most WCE classes usually only receive two days of PE. The students who brought in the most cans also were rewarded with “golden” tickets to the Safety Patrol’s end-of-year water day.

Two teachers used the fund raiser as a way to get their students to read.

Third grade teachers Amanda Novotny and Marci Williams brought in cans of cat food that their students could win by logging the most hours on iReady, a computer reading program. Third grade student Taylor Mack earned the 510 cans by logging 32 hours in the reading program. Thanks to winning that prize, Taylor was also the highest donor overall with a total of 522 cans.

“March Madness” may have struck the students at Wesley Chapel Elementary (WCE) in a different way than it may have hit your office, because they spent the month of March collecting cat food for Labor of Love Animal Rescue, Inc., a mobile rescue service.

WCE’s student Safety Patrol took on this task as its annual community service project.

Coach Chris Gorman, WCE’s Safety Patrol coordinator, physical education teacher and head of the WCE “March Meow-ness” food drive, says, “Our main goal is to get all of the animals adopted.” Gorman adds that all of Labor of Love’s cats are being kept in volunteers’ homes.

“Our Safety Patrol made posters and even a commercial that ran on our closed circuit TV channel,” says Gorman. The students also created a display of the donations in the cafeteria under an assortment of tiles decorated by students with images of animals.

Gorman says he also contacted many cat food companies.

Weruva, a company that makes all-natural pet foods, sent 500 cans to help the cause.

“I was really surprised when they (Weruva) replied that Wesley Chapel Elementary third grader Taylor Mack they wanted to help,” shows off all of the cat food collected by WCE students he says. With Weruto help Labor of Love Animal Rescue.

‘Guys & Dolls’ A Smash Hit For Wiregrass Ranch High!

Student of Wiregrass Ranch High (WRH) may not have known who Nathan Detroit or Sarah Brown was before WRH’s drama department brought a classic to life the weekend of March 16-18 — when the school’s drama department performed the musical“Guys and Dolls” — but anyone who attended those performances surely does now. Originally produced in 1950 by Feuer and Martin, “Guys and Dolls” has become one of the most recognizable musicals in Broadway history after winning the 1950 Tony award for Best Musical.

Drama teacher Margret Peacock produced WRH’s version of the musical. “This was our first big musical, and I wanted something with a big name, and a big cast,” she says. The shows were held at the Center for the Arts on the campus of Wesley Chapel High.

“Guys and Dolls” introduces flawed and lovable characters like Sky Masterson (Grant Moldin), a renowned gambler and womanizer; Sarah Brown (Ashley Shalna), the missionary “doll” who is trying to save everyone’s souls; Nathan Detroit (Tyler Baughn), who runs the oldest, established, permanent, floating craps game

in town and his fiancé, Hot Box star Adelaide (Nicolette Doria).

The planning for the extravagant show began at the end of the A scene from WRH’s 2010-11 school “Guys & Dolls.” year. Mrs. Peacock’s cast spent four months rehearsing songs and dances. “I’m so impressed with the level all of the students rose to,” she says, adding that most of the drama students also are very involved with other school activities, such as orchestra, wrestling or tennis.

Peacock notes that the three performances of WRH’s “Guys and Dolls” brought in between 1,400 and 1,600 attendees combined, and raised an estimated $1,500. She already is at work on next year’s production of “Bye, Bye Birdie,” a popular 1960 musical comedy. “These large musicals take a lot of planning, and we look forward to an even bigger success from next year’s show,” say Peacock. — JM

Every Day Is Cinqo De Mayo At Vallarta’s In Wesley Chapel!

By Gary Nager Cinqo de Mayo will be held this year on Saturday, May 5, which means that popular Mexican restaurants like Vallarta’s Restaurante Mexicano in the Wesley Chapel Village Market (on Bruce B. Downs Blvd. at S.R. 54) will be even more packed than usual that Saturday night.

But, why wait until May 5th to check out Wesley Chapel’s most popular and most affordable Mexican restaurant, when Vallarta’s is open and serving huge portions of great food every day (except Sunday) for lunch and every day for dinner?

My buddy Fabian Jimenez at Vallarta’s, which is celebrating its tenth Cinqo de Mayo in the middle of its eleventh year at the same location in the Village Market, knows he will be packed for that most famous of Mexican holidays, “So, we hope everyone will visit us before Cinqo de Mayo.”

The place is already crowded ed for dinner most nights (and is getting known for being a quick, value-conscious lunch, too), but Fabian says Cinqo promises to be “crazy fun.”

Fabian’s uncle started the original Vallarta’s on N. 56th St. in Temple Terrace and is a partner with Fabian in two of this Tampa-based family “chain” of seven restaurants all using the Vallarta’s name. Among the other locations are two in Lutz, U.S. Hwy. 19 in Palm Harbor, N. Dale Mabry Hwy. and Anderson Rd. in Carrollwood.

Fabian says he is proud of the number of regular customers the Wesley Chapel location has who come back week after week, many of them multiple times each week, for the atmosphere, the cuisine and the great prices.

Although I try to limit the number of hot tortilla chips I enjoy, Vallarta’s puréed tomato salsa is never overpowering (some people I know add a little hot sauce to it) and washing that down with an ice cold Dos Equis or Modelo cerveza (and/or a shot of an upscale

Don Julio or Patron tequila) is definitely required for me at Vallarta’s, which boasts a premium, full-liquor bar and also serves a variety of fun frozen drinks.

Among the appetizers I enjoy at Vallarta’s are the huge Grande Quesadilla (half-stuffed with chicken and half with beef tips, plus refried beans and served with guacamole and sour cream), the shredded pork tacos de carnita and the pico de gallo. I never order nachos myself (too filling and fattening for my taste), but one fellow patron at the bar said she comes back with a girlfriend to share the nachos with beef and beans.

Yes, Vallarta’s has very popular enchiladas, burritos, tacos, combination meals, vegetarian entrées and child’s plates, but this meat lover keeps coming back to the great chicken and steak specialties, from combo fajitas to my current favorite dish, the “Vallarta’s Special” whole ribeye steak, which is topped with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers, served with rice, beans and flour tortillas. I also have enjoyed the grilled pollo a la parilla, which is perfectly grilled and served with rice, a guac salad and tortillas, and the batterdipped pollo empanisado, which (at

least to me) doesn’t even need its side of nacho cheese dipping sauce.

In other words, you really can make any day Cinqo de Mayo at Vallarta’s of Wesley Chapel! Enjoy the fiesta!

Neighborhood Nibbles — Burger Monger, iCream, Baja’s & A Pearl Despite the economy (or maybe because of it?), new restaurants are still popping up all over Wesley Chapel and it’s my absolute pleasure to keep you informed about all of the latest newcomers in our area.

Burger Monger - I had never tried the original location on N. Dale Mabry Hwy. in Carrollwood, so I was looking forward to the opening of Burger Monger in the former Panchero’s location, in the same section of the Shops at New Tampa plaza on Bruce B. Downs (BBD) Blvd. as Bonefish Grill.

And so far, I have to say I am a fan of the 100-percent Akaushi Kobe beef hamburgers and the grilled chicken sandwiches — both available with more gourmet toppings than I can possibly list here — as well as the tasty skin-on, hand-cut fries at the Monger. The place isn’t cheap, but it is yummy, immaculate-looking, the order-at-the-counter service is quick and it is nice to be able

to have an ice cold beer with your burger, too.

Baja’s & iCream - I don’t currently have a lot of information about the two signs that recently went up on BBD opposite the under-construction Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, in front of the same plaza that already is home to Dickey’s BBQ and The Hungry Greek, but both Baja’s Fresh Mexican Grill & iCream are apparently up-and-coming franchises originally from other parts of the country hoping to cash in on our area’s much-needed new hospital.

I do know, however, that Baja’s, based in Irvine, CA, does have locations in Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, South beach (Miami) and at Tampa International Airport and stores in at least 15 U.S. states. Meanwhile, iCream, based in Chicago, IL, doesn’t seem to yet have any other Florida locations.

We will keep you posted as these two new locations get closer to opening. We also hope to be able to tell you more about where in Wesley Chapel Dade City favorite Pearl in the Grove will open its second location. — GN
