By Marian SAMPSON LET'S face it - the school run is never easy and this year parents have the added stress of getting RAT tests done twice a week.

There’s homework to check, bags to pack, sports gear and don’t forget a healthy lunch box, sunscreen, hats and a mask.

Then there is the last minute stress of the school drop off.

Parents are being reminded that they need to be aware of the school zone safety rules.

Port Stephens Council rangers are doing the rounds of 25 local schools this month to raise awareness of school zone safety and compliance during drop-off and pick-up times.

Team Leader Rangers Gavin Castro said parking in bus zones and no stopping zones were the top two offences commonly issued by rangers and encouraged drivers to brush up on the different signs and rules around school

NSW Health is holding a series of pop-up clinics with the aim of ensuring that the boost shots are delivered into the community effectively.

Raymond Terrace is one town on the list with the PCYC at 1719 Sturgeon Street in Raymond Terrace hosting a clinic on Saturday 12 February from 10m-1pm.

The clinic will be offering Pfizer vaccinations and paediatric Pfizer shots for children.

The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) notes that the course of the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed in recent weeks.

Case numbers of COVID-19 due to the Omicron variant are rapidly increasing and this variant now dominates in some regions of Australia.

Internationally, the Omicron variant has become dominant in several countries with case numbers growing rapidly in some.

An ATAGI spokesperson said, “Strong evidence has accumulated over the past two weeks to indicate that booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines are likely to increase protection against infection with the Omicron variant.

“Although some early data suggest that the risk of hospitalisation due to disease caused by the Omicron variant is lower than that with the Delta variant, this difference would not be enough to offset the impact of high case numbers on the health system.”

ATAGI states that maximising booster coverage by expanding eligibility and encouraging high uptake, in combination with enhanced public health and social measures, may prevent a large surge in case numbers, hospitalisations and deaths.

ATAGI recommends COVID-19 booster vaccinations for adults aged 18 and older.

ATAGI recommends providing boosters to all eligible adults from a minimum of three months following the second dose of the primary course.

Pregnant women aged 18

recommended to have a booster dose and when practical and in line with the broader community, ATAGI says this interval should be brought forward to three months.

Immunocompromised individuals who have received three primary doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are also recommended to have a booster dose in line with the timing for the general population, i.e., currently a four-month interval from their primary course, and when capacity permits, three months.

ATAGI reinforces that timely receipt of a booster dose is particularly important for: people with risk factors for severe disease (including those aged over 60 years, those with underlying medical conditions, those in aged/disability care and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples); and people with increased risk of exposure to SARS-CoV-2.

The impact of occupational risks is magnified in settings where workers may transmit the virus to others with increased risk of severe disease, such as aged/disability care facilities.

Both Comirnaty (Pfizer) or Spikevax (Moderna50µg) are recommended for use as a booster vaccine, and both are considered equally acceptable.

AstraZeneca can be used for people who have

contraindications to the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

ATAGI recommends that anyone aged twelve or older who is unvaccinated should receive a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.

Extension to Performing Arts Relaunch package

By Tara CAMPBELL THE NSW performing arts and live music sector will be further supported with $85 million in NSW Government funding to provide artists and performers with increased confidence to take their place on centre stage and help kick-start the state’s economy.

After a challenging two years where the entertainment and live music industries have struggled to keep afloat, the NSW Government are hoping to provide a pathway to recovery in the sector.

Minister for the Arts Ben Franklin said the $85 million package included an extension for the Performing Arts Relaunch package and a grant to music charitable organisation, Support Act, to assist individual

performing artists.

Support act is Australia’s largest charity for the music industry, delivering crisis relief services to artists, artist managers, crew and music workers across all genres who are unable to work due to ill health, injury, a mental health problem or other crisis.

“As we continue to work through this current phase of the pandemic, the $80 million extension of the Performing Arts Relaunch package will support our wonderful performing arts and live music sector to continue to confidently return to the stage and deliver the vibrant, diverse and inspiring works we have missed so much.

“The additional $5 million grant that we are providing to Support Act as part of this package will help to bridge the gap for assistance for those not eligible under other Government funds and ensure our state’s artists are not left behind as a result of disruptions caused by the

pandemic,” Mr Franklin said.

Support Act CEO Clive Miller said the funding will offer critical relief to support the health and welfare of people working in the music industry.

“The funds announced today will ensure that those hit hardest will be able to access crisis relief through Support Act to help pay the rent, put food on the table, pay urgent medical bills and stay connected with family and community,” Mr Miller said.

The $85 million package is on top of $125 million in funding announced in 2021 to support the performing arts and live music sector.

Applications for the Performing Arts Relaunch package are open to eligible NSW venues, promoters and producers to relaunch performing arts activities.

Salt Ash Air Weapons Range Flying Program 2022 RAAF Base Williamtown Hawk LeadIn Fighter aircraft have returned to the Salt Ash Air Weapons Range to conduct training for fighter jet aircrew.

No. 76 Squadron aircraft have scheduled three weeks of operations on the range, beginning on Monday 7 February, through to Friday 25 February 2022.

Operations are scheduled on weekdays only and between 9am to 5pm.

Commander Air Combat Group, Air Commodore Tim Alsop said residents living in East Medowie, Salt Ash and Lemon Tree Passage can expect the range to be used consistently throughout this period.

“Air Force has a responsibility to ensure personnel are ready

and able to deploy at short notice and this involves necessary air to ground training, which is conducted at Salt Ash Air Weapons Range,” Air Commodore Alsop said.

“PC-21 aircraft also operate intermittently on the range in support of No. 4 Squadron combat control and joint terminal attack training.

“There is currently no programmed training scheduled for F-35A Lightning II aircraft on Salt Ash Air Weapons Range.

“We will advise if the program changes.”

Air Commodore Alsop said every effort was made to minimise any inconvenience to residents during Salt Ash Air Weapons Range training and advised the range schedule could change at short notice due to weather or operational considerations.

“Aircrew always minimise their

use of the range and once proficiency has been attained they move onto the next stage of their course,” Air Commodore Alsop said.

ADDITIONAL upgrades are on the way for the skaters, scooter and bike riders of Anna Bay, with construction kicking off on Stage 2 of the popular Robinson Reserve Skate Park.

Council has successfully secured $161,326 funding from the Australian Government to complete Stage 2 of the Anna Bay skate park at Robinson Reserve.

Port Stephens Mayor Ryan Palmer says the grant will allow the community’s vision for the skate park

“Robinson Reserve Skate Park was designed in partnership with the youth of our community who were keen to see a facility that met both beginner and more advanced user levels,” Mayor Palmer said.

“To create a facility that meets the community’s vision, we used the funding we had available to start stage 1 – the beginner elements.

“Thanks to the recent Australian Government grant, we are now able

to start Stage 2, building the more advanced elements.

“We know the Anna Bay community and people from all across our area love this new skate park – it’s always busy, particularly in the holidays!

“With this funding, we’ll be able to make it even better with more challenging elements like a quarter pipe extension, camel hump rollers and ski jump kicker.

“We’re continuing to transform

Robinson Reserve into a recreational hub that caters for a range of ages and abilities for the Anna Bay community and beyond,” he said.

The project was made possible through funding from the Australian Government through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program and is expected to be complete within six weeks.

The LRCI program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure

projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Emergency Services Update

IT’S time for your weekly emergency services update for Port Stephens.

Lemon Tree Passage Fall Last week the NSW SES Port Stephens responded to a patient that had fallen and injured themselves on a steep rocky trail in Lemon Tree Passage.

Six NSW SES Rescue Operators attended the scene and quickly got to work to assess the patient, manage the injuries and move the patient into the stroke's litter.

The crew then worked with NSW Police to safely carry them out to a nearby awaiting ambulance and paramedics.

Marine Rescue On the afternoon of Saturday 5 February, Marine Rescue Lemon Tree Passage

received a call for assistance in relation to a group of young canoeists who had run into difficulties due to strong wind gusts whilst on the water in Tilligerry Creek.

The group used a great deal of common sense by staying together and heading for the nearest land at Bull Island and contacting our base for assistance.

The Marine Rescue crew attended in LT30 and picked up all the group and their canoes and returned them to their launching place without further incident.

Training On 5 February 2022, Soldiers Point Rural Fire Brigade engaged in ‘Closed and Open Circuit Pumping’ training.

“Whilst it’s been a very quiet twelve months, it is

important that we refresh our skills which we would usually be using this time of the year.

“It was a great opportunity for our newer members to ask questions and expand their knowledge on pump pressure and techniques,” a representative from the Brigade said.

Blood Donation Challenge The NSW Rural Fire Service has taken out the top spot in the 2021 Lifeblood teams blood challenge.

This challenge has helped to save 765 lives through blood donation over the past twelve months.

Congratulations to all the RFS Rural Fire Service members across NSW who have rolled up their sleeves to donate blood to save lives.

Operation Australia Day

The operation was a true collaboration of emergency services with the SES, NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and the NSW Rural Fire Service all called upon to assist.

Upon arrival, NSW SES Rescue Operators provided scene safety, vehicle stabilisation and patient

support, until the arrival of NSW Ambulance.

Crews also worked alongside NSW Police, who provided scene and traffic management, and NSW Rural Fire Service Seaham Brigade and Bowthorne/Hinton Brigade, who provided fire protection/suppression.

The custom kits, which are designed for use in the event of an immediate, life-threatening trauma incident were designed in collaboration with Surfing NSW staff, and include equipment to deal with immediate trauma, bleeding control, hypothermia, fracture management and minor wounds.

“Surfers are often the first to respond to surf-zone incidents at unpatrolled or regional beaches and in many of these cases, every second counts,” said Matt Lawson, Surfers Rescue 24/7 Coordinator at Surfing NSW. “Providing these specialised trauma kits and training across 190 locations in NSW will save lives.

“If immediate first aid is required as a result of a shark

attack, fin chop, or propeller injury we can help to reduce serious injury or preserve life while paramedics are on the way," said Lawson.

The trauma kits have been developed by TacMed Paramedics and Military Medics with approved equipment used by military, law enforcement and ambulance agencies globally.

An online training course will supplement the kits to ensure all locations personnel are competent in using the equipment.

Additionally, all surfers in NSW have access to free first aid training through the Surfers Rescue 24/7 program where they can learn how to perform lifesaving water rescue techniques and CPR. The initiative has been funded by the NSW Government in an Australianfirst for shark incident response as part of NSW Government’s 2021-22 Shark Management Program that includes; the largest fleet of shark-spotting drones across 50 beaches; 37 VR4G listening stations to detect tagged sharks; 170 SMART drumlines; the continuation of 51 shark nets between Newcastle and Wollongong; the SharkSmart app, community awareness and education programs and shark research.

Trauma Kits For Boardrider Clubs

PORT Stephens is about to get a little bit safer for surfers and swimmers with accredited boardrider clubs receiving trauma kits through a new safety program initiative with every accredited surf school and boardriders club in NSW receiving new trauma and first aid kits.

15 New South Wales boardrider clubs have been presented with state-of-theart trauma first aid kits as part of a collaborative project between Surfing NSW and the NSW State Government.

The presentation coincided with the Australian Boardriders Battle final at Newcastle Beach.

LA Nina has increased rainfall across Australia this summer but it hasn’t stopped the increased risk of the sun and water.

As the country reaches midsummer and Australians continue spending more time outdoors, St John Ambulance NSW is urging Australians to stay safe.

The Deputy Commissioner of Advisory at St John Ambulance NSW, Elliot Williams, said, “Heat exhaustion and heatstroke are two of the most serious issues that can occur from extreme heat and excessive sun exposure.”

With 60 drowning deaths in Australia already reported this summer, knowing how to recognise and respond to an emergency incident can mean the difference between life and death.

Sarah Lance, CEO of St John Ambulance NSW, encourages all Australians who are spending more time outdoors and near the water to brush up on their first aid skills.

“Whether it's at the beach, pool, river or lake – Australian's love spending time in the water.

“But we know accidents can happen anywhere and at

any time, which is why knowing how to respond is critical.”

Young men aged 18 to 34 are at the highest risk of drowning this summer, new analysis from Royal Life Saving Society has revealed.

The safe way to enjoy swimming is to always swim between the flags.

St John Ambulance NSW has these tips on how to stay safe this summer; stay well hydrated: drink plenty of water; never go swimming alone: always be sure to have people around you when swimming; protect yourself from the sun: wear sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and loose fitted clothing; and be sure to take time out to rest in the shade during the day.

ONE of Port Stephens' biggest businesses is getting behind local surf life saving volunteers.

Australia’s biggest aluminium smelter is joining forces with the district’s largest surf lifesaving club in a sponsorship arrangement that will benefit both the club and the broader community.

Tomago Aluminium will sponsor Cooks Hill Surf Lifesaving Club to the tune of $5000, with $3000 earmarked for uniforms for the club’s 140-strong junior squads competing in state and national events and $2000 to fund training equipment used by younger club members.

The financial assistance for Cooks Hill SLSC’s junior programs is seen as yet another way in which Tomago Aluminium can support the wider community, according to the organisation's Communications Advisor, Katie Burns.

“We support a number of regional groups across a broad range.

“We like helping a wide variety of community groups because we feel our support can really make a difference,”

added.

Tomago Aluminium CFO Stacey Sleeman said that with 85 percent of Australia’s population living within 50 kilometres of the coastline, connecting with Cooks Hill SLSC seemed like a natural fit.

“Here in the Hunter we love the beach.

“We spend a lot of time in the water and, thanks to surf lifesaving clubs like Cooks Hill, we are able to do so in great

Koala Health and Habitat

MINISTER for the Environment Sussan Ley was in Port Stephens on Monday to talk about the protection of the East Coast’s koala population.

More government funding to conserve koala habitats is now available for businesses and community groups, with a $50 million dollar announcement building on a previously announced $24 million dollars.

This announcement brings the Morrison Government’s commitment to koala conservation to almost $75 million since 2019.

The additional $50 million investment over the next four years includes $20 million for habitat to restore koala habitat and manage threats, including large and medium scale projects.

“We are really, really serious about what we need to do as a federal government to protect the health and habitat

for koalas,” said Ms Ley. “Much of the package is going towards habitat, but there are opportunities for communities to approach the government for funding for work that does benefit both the koala and its environment.”

Minister Ley praised the Oakvale Wildlife Park’s educational facility, recognising the business not just as exhibitors but as a conservation and education facility.

“When I meet people like Kent and Leanne (Oakvale owners) and the work that they are doing for koalas, I feel really privileged,” Ms Ley said.

Oakvale Wildlife Park is home to koalas with a diverse range of DNA which is also disease free.

The park is actively involved in a koala breeding program.

The funding will mostly be distributed in Queensland and New South Wales.

The Minister stated that

Liberal Candidate for Paterson Brooke Vitnell has already asked for part of the funding package to be spent in Port Stephens.

“When we invest in koala habitat it makes sense to do it where the koala trees are, where the koala corridors are and in strong areas of habitat, and you can do it on a landscape scale, we are already doing that in northern NSW and Queensland," said Ms Ley. “Every level of government has to act when it comes to koalas - state, local and Federal Government.

“A lot of the issues do concern State Government planning processes.

“What we are doing as a Federal Government is taking the lead with really serious investment in the species as a whole, its habitat, its health and supporting communities.”

It is estimated that 50 percent or more of Australian koalas have chlamydia.

“A portion of the funding will go towards how to treat that disease and other problems that koalas have.

“Habitat is the main game,” she said.

When questioned on the subject of the impact of multiple developments impacting on koala habitats the Minister said it is important that the cumulative impact of development on koala habitat be considered by the relevant government.

The meetings always have a fun component and this time it was an interactive exercise delivered by President Fiona Brown Which demonstrated the power of connection in communities.

At the meeting, PSWIB Founder and Port Stephens Councillor Leah Anderson spoke about her own leadership journey and the qualities women in leadership can embrace to reach their potential and be effective as a leader.

Leah also performs leadership roles at Port Stephens Koala Hospital and within the Rotary Club of Salamander Bay. The group's AGM was held as a part of the meeting with three committee members returning to leadership roles; Fiona Brown as President, Christine Blosdale as Vice President, and Dinah Watson as Secretary.

“It takes hard work from our tireless vets, scientists and nurses and I’ll be backing them in by advocating for more local funds.”

Kent and Leanne Samson operate the wildlife park, which has been family owned and run for 40 years.

“Oakvale is elated to see recognition from Tourism NSW. “We won Gold on Friday night. It is such a good result not only for the park but for our staff and for morale for the community.

“We have been through a very rough time for the last couple of years with Covid and it is just wonderful to get that recognition, but also for people to start to be able to get out and enjoy nature and the outdoors again.”

I had my offer accepted but someone else purchased the property - isn’t that gazumping?

GAZUMPING occurs when a potential buyer makes an offer, the owner accepts the offer, but then also accepts an offer from another potential purchaser. The other customer becomes the successful purchaser.

It is 100% the decision of the Seller whether they instruct their agent to continue showing the property after an initial offer is accepted or not, and they are legally allowed to freely make this decision. But by law Real Estate Agents are obliged to put all offers forward to an owner regardless of whether there is already an offer accepted.

Therefore the owner may then accept someone else’s offer as well. This offer may not be higher than yours, but they may have a better financial situation, ie cash buyers as opposed to having to obtain finance, a longer or shorter settlement period, which may suit them better etc etc.

A purchase of a property is not secured until exchange of contracts is processed.

That is that both the buyer and seller have each signed the contract of sale and the buyer has paid their deposit, usually 10%.

No compensation for costs incurred, such as pest & building or legal representatives, is required to be paid to the unsuccessful buyer.

Parents NSW Vouchers go live ABOUT one million families can now enjoy $250 worth of vouchers, thanks to the NSW Government’s Parents NSW program going live from Monday, 7 February.

Eligible families will receive five $50 vouchers which can be redeemed at Discover NSW and Stay NSW registered businesses.

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet said this program was a big win for households and would help ease the cost of living for busy parents.

“This is all about thanking parents for their home schooling efforts last year, helping make ends meet and supporting local businesses. Parents have persevered and balanced a variety of challenges as a result of home learning, and we are grateful for their hard work and sacrifices,” Mr Perrottet said.

"This will also put downward pressure on the cost of living by helping families across the State get out and enjoy the best our State has to offer while leaving them with more money in their back-pocket to spend on the everyday essentials."

In addition, the Stay NSW voucher program, providing every adult aged 18 and older with a $50 voucher to spend at registered accommodation providers, will be progressively rolled out from 21 February.

Both programs will be implemented using the existing Dine & Discover NSW infrastructure.

“These vouchers are a double win – they encourage families to get out and enjoy the best of our State, while also providing much needed income to businesses affected by the pandemic,” Mr Perrottet said.

Treasurer Matt Kean said the vouchers form part of the NSW Government’s $2.8 billion COVID-19 Economic Recovery Strategy

announced in October and come on the back of the more than $1 billion COVID business support package recently announced.

“These vouchers are a win-win for industry and families and encourage more families to explore our incredible State and bolster local economies,” Mr Kean said.

“We’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with industry throughout the pandemic and this is another program that will help keep businesses open and keep workers in jobs.”

Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government Victor Dominello said households would be able to apply for both programs via Service NSW. “Applying is easy and can be done quickly via your Service NSW app, the Service NSW website or by calling 13 77 88 for assistance,” Mr Dominello said.

“It only takes a few seconds to scan the vouchers and reap the rewards. We’ve made the process as simple as possible so families can enjoy a much earned holiday or a visit to a discover venue.”

Parents NSW vouchers can be combined up to the value of $250 and applied to your accommodation bill or discover experience.

Customers can pool multiple Stay NSW vouchers with friends or family for the same booking at registered accommodation providers, big or small.

Bookings made through third party providers such as online booking platforms and travel agents are not included in the program.

Participating businesses will be able to redeem vouchers seven days a week, including public holidays.

Customers will be able to search for participating accommodation providers on the easy-to-use hotel finder.

New Cancer Care Navigation System

WITH one in three Australians diagnosed with cancer throughout their lives there is an increasing need to shift to broader access for cancer care navigation to support more Australians.

New research and economic modelling has revealed that there may be up to $46 million in savings to the health system per year by implementing a non-cancer specific, care navigation model to support Australians diagnosed with cancer.

If adopted, the new cancer care navigation model could deliver incalculable benefits to over 150,000 Australians living with cancer.

For many families particularly those in regional and rural areas accessing and navigating treatment can be confronting.

Residents from Port Stephens often travel to The Mater, John Hunter and Maitland Public Hospitals, and some travel as far as Lake Macquarie Private Hospital for treatment.

World Cancer Day advocacy group All.Can Australia is encouraging a shift to broader cancer care navigation to ensure more Australians receive support as they navigate the health system following a diagnosis of cancer.

The proposed cancer care navigation model is designed to provide guidance to all cancer patients - regardless of cancer type, patient demographic or location – as they traverse the health system.

In partnership with research partner Healthcare Management Advisors (HMA), All.Can Australia has been focusing on cancer care navigation.

According to a survey of Australians with cancer undertaken by All.Can, patients experience significant confusion and distress when moving through the health system.

In contrast, patients with access to cancer navigation were better able to overcome barriers to care.

The much-needed focus on cancer care navigation aligns with the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) World Cancer Day theme, ‘Close the Care Gap’, which is about raising awareness of the equity gap that affects many people with cancer and is costing lives.

The research concluded that a universal cancer care navigation model for all Australians may be able to deliver multiple patient, health system and economic benefits.

The model estimated that the proposed cancer care navigation model would generate net annual economic savings of: $67 million to the health system, through reductions in inpatient care and emergency department presentations; $5 million to workplace productivity by reducing employee absenteeism; $3 million in reduced patient education expenses for not-for-profit organisations; $7 million in reduced transport costs for patients.

Professor John Zalcberg, Co-Chair of the All.Can Australia Steering Committee and Head of the Cancer Research Program, Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine School of Public Health at Monash University – a more integrated approach to cancer care navigation would make it easier for those diagnosed with cancer to navigate through Australia’s complex health system.

“The efforts to investigate a single model that can benefit all Australians diagnosed with cancer has the potential to transform cancer care delivery.

“This report helps to take our work to the next step, as now we potentially have a solution to tackle this.

“While the economic analysis of our research shows strong return on investment, it is the ability to better utilise existing services and create better connectivity that will make a huge difference to patients,” said Professor Zalcberg.

All.Can Australia also views the model as an opportunity to utilise emerging technology to drive better connectivity and equitable access in the cancer space.

The novel model has the potential to leverage telehealth, emerging artificial intelligence and experienced navigators (both allied and healthcare professionals) already working across the health system.

All.Can Australia plans to leverage the research findings to continue discussion with government and other like-minded organisations to explore piloting and further data collection.

MEMBERS of the Probus Club of Fingal Bay really do like to be beside the seaside.

The ongoing need to obey the rules for managing COVID-19 and its variations has meant meetings in certain places have been set aside by the club for the time being.

Changes were inevitable with Fingal Bay Probus members being advised that the monthly wine and dine meeting would become a COVID-19 safe picnic at Conroy Park, instead of a crowded

restaurant, making many members delighted to attend.

Julia Redlich told News Of The Area, “This is one of the club’s favourite parks, Vicki and John Archer suggested we either brought our own picnic, plus drinks, with us, or studied the take-away menu from the nearby Corlette Store - well and truly tried and tested in the past.

“Pre-paid orders were delivered with express efficiency.

PORT Stephens hosted what has been described as a great weekend on the water with the NSW/ACT Laser Masters Championship held.

There were almost 130 entrants for the weekend which created a visual spectacle on the Bay. Spectators on Saturday would have also seen the fleet of Port Stephens Yacht Club yachts racing with the two fleets managing to avoid each other.

By Geoff WALKER A CONSISTENT south by south easterly wind pattern over two days made it a lively time on the waters of Tanilba Bay for the annual Big Boat Regatta.

Indeed, Alan Gibson's Tanilba weather station recorded gusts of some 27 knots (45 kilometres per hour).

These blustery conditions saw several catamarans withdraw but with no major damage.

Competitors came from far and wide and included sailors from Mannering Park, Kurnell, Wallerawang, Royal Prince Alfred Sailing Club, the Southern Highlands, Palm Beach, Speers Point, Coffs Harbour, Queens Lake, Toukley, Armidale and the Great Lakes.

Mannering Park sailors won two of the three divisions.

In the Hobie class, Andrew and Olive from Kurnell took out first place in 'Willy Willy’.

The F18s saw Stewart and Adam claim victory in 'Harken'.
