Dream Playground Opened By Marian SAMPSON

SALT Ash Public School has it’s new playground. The School is a community hub in a community which is dealing with issues including the Red Zone. 87 Students attend the Primary School and all of them will benefit from this wonderful new facility. The project took four years of hard work and cost $65,000; was funded by the School’s fantastic Parents and Citizens (P&C) who fundraised for four years to turn a dream into a reality.

the land despite the local Member for Parliament Kate Washington, Port Stephens Council and the local communities protests. Since recognising the “mistake” in selling off the

land to a Private Developer the Government has undergone a lengthy process to buy back the land. “Kathy Brown of the Mambo Wanda Wetlands group told News

are celebrating. The buy back has reportedly cost the NSW Government $420,000.
