Progress for Connected Learning Centre MINISTER for Skills and Tertiary Education Dr Geoff Lee, and Liberal Member of the NSW Upper House for the Hunter Taylor Martin visited Port Stephens last week to meet with stakeholders to discuss progress towards the new Nelson Bay Connected Learning Centre. Dr Lee said a $61.7 million investment to construct eight new Connected Learning Centres in the recent Budget would help deliver the skills and training needed to support local economies across NSW, including in Nelson Bay. “The 2019-20 NSW Budget continues the NSW Government’s proud record of strongly backing the State’s public education and training provider and the crucial role it plays delivering the skills needed in local communities right across NSW,” Dr Lee said. “In this year’s Budget, we’ve delivered funding for the design and early planning of TAFE NSW’s first permanent presence in Nelson Bay. “The new modern campus, known as a Connected Learning Centre, will
