GOLD lamé, pretty pastels and teetering heels featured at the Tomaree Breast Cancer Support Group Charity Golf Day at Nelson Bay Golf Club. The theme this year was “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” and the supporters certainly got into the spirit, swinging their tresses as well as their golf clubs. In its eleventh year, the charity day raised a record amount of over $10,000. “This is a great boost to the Tomaree Breast Cancer Support Group,” organising committee member Margaret Harding said.
