OUR Place is currently being built on the site of the old Christmas Bush Nursery site in Stockton Street, Nelson Bay by two well known local couples who are passionate about creating a homelike, play-based learning environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers in long day care. Natasha and Mark O’Sullivan are building Our Place Play School, a long day care service that caters for children from birth to three years on block 55, Stockton Street. Jan and Ray Slade are building Our Place Preschool, a long day care service which offers preschool programs and caters for children from three years to school age on block 53, Stockton St. “Ray and I previously owned and operated Nelson Bay Preschool and have been involved in the community providing childcare since
