Peach Kings take on Ayr
A late third period tip in gave the Grimsby Peach Kings the Niagara District title Sunday night in Glanbrook with the 3-2 Game 7 win. Now the Peach Kings take on Ayr in Game 1 on the road tonight (Thursday) and return home for Game 2 tomorrow (Friday) at PKC. Game time 7:30 p.m. Game 3 will also be at PKC Easter Sunday. A 3-2 come-from-behind win Friday night in Nobleton gave the Grimsby Pee Wee Kings the OMHA title. The team rang the town bell in the yard at Grimsby Museum on Saturday afternoon to celebrate.
