MURS seat sales sailing along, says Kiwanis president By Joanne McDonald For NewsNow Seat sales for the new Multi-Use Recreational Site (MURS) complex are moving fast and it’s due - in a big wayto the enthusiasm of the newly chartered Kiwanis West Lincoln service club. Members were out Saturday with the best seats in town at the West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce community barbecue and they will continue to sell the arena seats at numerous events this summer and fall. The fundraiser was launched Canada Day and “seat sales are doing very well,” said Kiwanis West Lincoln President Dave Willis. The service club was formed in May and one of the proposals put to the membership was raising funds for the MURS project, Willis said. See SEAT, Page 2
