All of us – police, communities, government, businesses, and citizens – must work together to promote public safety, crime prevention, and community engagement and mobilization. Community partnerships play a key role in modern and effective policing.

Police week this year takes place from Sunday, May 14 through Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Starting in 1970, Ontario police services have proudly shared Police Week with our communities. Police week provides us with

National Police Week

an opportunity to promote the bonds between police officers and personnel and the people that they serve.
