Contractors are considerate

RG Carters Ltd has been found to be performing exceptionally in the first of two Considerate Contractors’ Scheme visits. The Considerate Contractors Scheme which aims to improve the image of construction, independently monitors sites against the scheme’s Site Code of Considerate Practice, to highlight areas where improvements are considered necessary and to encourage best practice beyond standard industry requirements. The £2.85million Sleaford Leisure Centre refurbishment project was found to have been exceptionally organised by RG

Carters Ltd, and has displayed very high standards in all of the categories as audited. Categories include; enhancing the appearance, respecting the community, protecting the environment, securing everyone’s safety and caring for the workforce. The visit found that RG Carters Ltd had adopted a very pro-active attitude to working with North Kesteven District Council, and the appearance of the site and its systems and procedures for safety management were also highly noted – overall a well presented project.
