Young at Heart Resources Continues to Serve Older Adults during Covid19. Staff is available during regular hours Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm Albany, MO- During this difficult time Young at Heart Resources continues to serve older adults of Northwest Missouri. Both Albany and Cameron offices are closed to the public but staff is available by phone for anyone in need of assistance. Provide –a- ride is currently on hold. Client reimbursed transportation can still be utilized. OATS and bus passes to those in need are still being issued. Ombudsman program is still providing advocacy for longterm care facility residents, families or residents’ representatives by phone when needed. Ombudsman staff have also been in contact with several facilities, asking them what has been done for the residents, and providing information and assistance if needed. Young at Heart Resources continues to work closely with the senior centers throughout Northwest Missouri, to ensure there are no disruptions in meal delivery to those most vulnerable older adults. Clients are encouraged to check with their local senior center to inquire about any changes in their operation.
