Animals will be placed in gold, silver and bronze ribbon groups. Unworthy animals will not be placed. The point value of premiums will be as follows: Gold Silver Bronze All individual classes of beef cattle 30 20 10 All individual classes of hogs, sheep & goats 12 8 4 All Fowl classes 9 6 3 Rabbits 6 4 2 The maximum value per point on all above classes is 60 cents. In case the number of exhibits prevents payment on the maximum value, the value per point will be determined by dividing total money by the total points in all exhibits. The first and second animals in each market class will be shown for championship and reserve judging. JUNIOR EXHIBITORS SHOW General Regulations 1. Pens and stalls will be assigned. 2. All animals entered for premiums in this department shall be housed and exhibited as designated by the Bethany Fair, Inc. 3. Every precaution will be taken to protect exhibits, but neither the Bethany Fair, Inc., 4-H Clubs, or FFA Chapters will be responsible for any losses or damages to exhibits. 4. Championship competition does not require entry. 5. 4-H and FFA livestock will be shown together. 6. All feed and bedding must be furnished by the exhibitor at his expense. 7. Kevin Patrick O’Halloran, 60, of Albany, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home.
Kevin was born September 22, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Frank and Betty (Trelow) O’Halloran. His parents preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by a grandchild and three uncles.
On April 3, 2004, Kevin was united in marriage to Jennifer Barnes.
For several years Kevin was a truck driver for several trucking companies. He was a member of the Albany Assembly of God Church.
Survivors: wife, Jenny and son, Bryton O’Halloran, of the home; stepdaughters, Amanda Moreland, Kansas; Brooke (Gabe) McDowell, St. Joseph; 3 grandchildren; brother, Phil (Susan) O’Halloran, Omaha, NE; sisters, Theresa (Pete) Robinson, Texas; Mary Anne O’Halloran, CA; uncle and aunt, Merle and Evonne Trelow, Malta Bend, MO; 5 nephews and 1 niece.
Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Monday, March 20 at the Assembly of God Church, Albany, MO. Inurnment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.

A question often asked of the preacher of the Word of God is, “Why doesn’t God answer my prayers”? If we would but listen to God’s voice spoken through the written word the answer would be clear. Iniquity: Defined by the dictionary ‘as in sin’, immoral conduct or practices harmful or offensive to society with synonyms: corruption, immorality, perversion, indecency, licentiousness, depravity, wickedness, criminality and the list goes on and on. The issue with society is that these obvious offenses to God have been changed to be that which are desirable traits indulging the imagination of the mind. I even hear preachers claim that the consequence in not accepting a doctrine of faith is eternal ‘Separation from God’. I ask the question, “If someone is living in the here and now without a relationship with the God of creation why would this information bring them to desire a change in their behavior”? I look to what Jesus said about those who live a life of licentiousness from the gospel of (Mark 9:43-48, If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched—where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’ And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— where ‘Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire—where ‘Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’) Now, tell me which gives a person the greatest incentive to repent, leaving the immoral ways of this world to be granted assurance of an eternity with Jesus? To be eternally separated from God, when they already are, or suffering in the eternal fire of Hell?
