Let it be known that the Worth County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold an election for one supervisor in each of two different territories in the county. Territory 2 includes the NE ¼ of Worth County and Territory 4 includes SE ¼ of Worth County. The election will take place from February 1st to February 22nd. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”) Jesus is speaking to a woman about how to worship God. In this modern day and age there are many who are just as confused about where and how to worship as she was. The Samaritans had been outcast for many years after government had merged with organized religion focusing on wealth and not the appreciation of life. Jesus, in a non-condemning way embraces this woman by letting her know that he knows her life has been one of non-committal yet seeks to bring her to a place of self-worth in worshipping God. He reminds her that salvation is of the Jews and proclaimed throughout the scripture, that is the 5 books of the law, Psalms, Proverbs, and the Prophets that tell of the Messiah who will come. With that bit of history out of the way what does this hold for us today and how we’re to worship the great Living God of Creation? Jesus tells us three things and once again back to the 1st and that is the Word of God, his holy bible of truth. It isn’t that the Bible is true. It’s that the Bible is the precondition for the manifestation of truth, which makes it way more true than just true, It’s a whole different kind of true. I think this is not only literally the case, factually. I think it can’t be any other way. It’s the only way we can solve the problem of perception. When we believe God’s word His presence will be manifested within us by the Holy Spirit to a completely different realm of understanding. We are told to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ and to worship God in Spirit and truth. God is seeking those who will diligently seek Him, not just in a building made of brick, stone, or wood, manmade altar, or pew but within our very being. We’re to number our days and now is the time to worship God from our heart, mind, and soul anticipating that which is to come.

Dianna was born to Roger Fielding Porter and Laura Elizabeth Shields Porter in Pontiac, Michigan on August 30, 1949. The 2nd child of 8 children and the oldest daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents. Dianna married Charles Elvin Deen, Sr. on October 13, 1967. They had 3 children: Charles Elvin Deen, Jr, Deana Rae Deen, Jeremy Wayne Deen. They divorced on October 31, 1979. Dianna was a graduate of Albany High School, class of 1968. Dianna married Willard Thomas Brittingham on December 10, 1982. He survives of the home. Dianna worked at Hesse Inc. in Kansas City, Mo from 1984 to 2010, and retired from Hesse Inc. after 26 years. After retiring she moved from Kansas City, Missouri to Eagleville, Missouri. Besides her husband, Dianna is also survived by children: Charlie & Julie Deen (Liberty, Mo), Deana James (Liberty, Mo), Jeremy & Davina Deen (Arlington, Tx); Grandchildren: Colton James, Danny James, Jaelyn Deen, Maya Deen; Brothers & Sisters: Roberta Owens, Margaret Byrom, Martha & John Shipley, Rodney & Donna Porter, Roger Porter, James & Cheryl Porter, Gail & Chris Tennill, and several nieces and nephews. Dianna created and designed jewelry, owned Eagle Rocks by Di. She was very crafty and loved to create, doing wood projects, painting and making crafts. She had quite the green thumb, growing her plants and flowers, and was a fantastic cook and liked to cook a big meal. Memorial Graveside Service and Inurnment was held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Grandview Cemetery, Albany, MO. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elizabeth Dianna Brittingham Memorial Fund, in care of Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402. The parents of the Stanberry RII High School Junior Class are in the process of organizing Project Prom for Saturday, March 26, 2022 for the Junior and Senior Classes.
