O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day…) Many years ago, way back around 600 BC the prophet Daniel sought the Lord with prayer and supplication while grieving in the spirit due to sinful behavior being overlooked in his country. Every time I read this prayer; I wonder why those called to proclaim Godly wisdom are not crying out from the pulpits to warn society? Our world has become opinion based where opinion has replaced Biblical truth in believing the promise that God’s judgement will come upon those who tolerate the perversion as a country that does not fear God. There are times when religious leaders gather and recite a prayer for blessing this country: (2 Chronicles 7:14 (If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.) This is a prayer of a conditional nature and a warning that there must be a conforming to God or else. Daniel spoke of a wicked society where sinning was common, as society had departed from God’s precepts and commandments while being oblivious to, and even denying eternal judgement. The bible tells of the mindset of those who continually live in the delusion of demons convincing one another that God doesn’t care, nor can he see, for if so, they wouldn’t be able to continue their lifestyle of sin. Repent as judgement is coming. (Rev 12:20, And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.)

~OBITUARY~ RONALD MURRAY
August 30, 1942 v November 1, 2023 Ronald Murray was born August 30, 1942 in Martinsville, Missouri, the son of Dean and Wilma Jean (Carter) Murray and passed away November 1, 2023. Ronald married the love of his life, Irene Broadstone in September of 1963, just celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Ronald was engaged in farming all his life with his father and later with his son Tim. During his life he raised all kinds of livestock (horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, and goats). Ronald and Irene acquired Webb Grocery in New Hampton in 1973, to be known as Ideal Grocery. In 1976 they built a building in New Hampton to expand Ideal Grocery and a new business Koffee Korner Kafe until the closing in 2003. Ronald served on various boards including White Oak Heights Housing, Howard Township, and advisory board of Great Western Bank. He was a member of the New Hampton Saddle Club and New Hampton Lions Club. His hobbies included training and showing horses, hunting, and supporting his kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in all their activities. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and greatgrandson Kadyn McClellan. Survivors include his wife, Irene; daughter, Angela (Kevin) Steutermann, son, Tim (Vivian) Murray; grandchildren, Zack (Liane) McClellan, Kipp (Cara) McClellan, Lyndsey and Spencer Steutermann; great-grandchildren, Miles, Axle, Korbyn, Krede and Koen McClellan. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Ronald will be laid to rest in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. Memorials may be made to the Albany First Baptist Church in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402. Online condolences: www.robersonpolleychapel.com
~OBITUARY~ SHARON K. NONNEMAN
November 18, 1938 ❖ November 3, 2023 Sharon K. Nonneman, age 84, Grant City, Missouri died Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Worth County Convalescent Center in Grant City. Sharon was born November 18, 1938, in Hartley, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Emil and Lillian (Zaiser) Lux. Sharon graduated from Hartley High School, Hartley, Iowa in 1957. In school she loved band and cheerleading. She enjoyed dancing and could often be found kicking up her heels on the dance floor. Sharon was united in marriage to Dennis Nonneman on September 29,1957 and to this union were born the 3 boys, Regan, Dan and Kory. In the winter of 1968, she and her family moved from Melvin, Ia to Allendale, Mo where Sharon enjoyed helping the boys on the farm. Sharon was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Ayr, Iowa. She also served as a member on the church board. Sharon worked at various jobs over the years, including the school after she retired. Sharon enjoyed lending a helping hand anywhere help was needed. You could always find her at Allendale helping with the dinners and the rodeo. In her later years Sharon could be found enjoying her time at the Grant City Senior Center playing cards and dominoes. Her strong will and quick wit will be missed by many. “Memory is a form of immortality. Those you remember never die. They just continue to walk and talk with you; their influence is with you always.” She was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Lillian, husband Dennis (2001), and a brother Denton Lux. Her survivors include sons, Regan (Connie) Nonneman, Grant City, Dan Nonneman, Hastings, Nebraska, Kory (Ann) Nonneman, Grant City, four grandsons, Nathan, Dylan, Ryan and Aaron Nonneman, one great-granddaughter Josey Nonneman, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones. Per her wishes Ms. Nonneman has been cremated under the care of the AndrewsHann Funeral Home, Grant City, MO. A Celebration of Life for Sharon was held Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Ayr, Iowa with Pastor John Rutz officiating. Inurnment followed in the Kirk Cemetery, Allendale, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the Worth County Senior Center, 22 West 4th Street, Grant City, MO. 64456
