Wow, some may say they have never thought of religion in this way, or that this seems closed minded of which I would answer with a resounding, yes! Who is this Jesus and why is there so much emphasis in His name? Jesus speaks of the name of God: (John 17:6, I have manifested your name unto the men that you gave me out of the world: they were yours and you gave them to me; and they have kept your word.) We would know the name of God as spoken to Moses: (Exodus 3:14-15, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I Am That I AM) The name of the God of Creation is I Am, not I was, or I will be but in essence the eternal God who has and will always be. Jesus aligned Himself with this title on numerous occasions of which was noticed by the Hebrews, (John 8:58, Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then took they up stones to cast at him) The Jews sought to kill Jesus as he stood for truth in that He was fulfilment of scripture as the Son of God. (Jn 19:7, The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.) Jesus would proclaim on at least ‘7’ occasions that He is the ‘I AM’. (Jn 6:35, I AM the Bread of Life.) (Jn 8:12, I AM the light of the World) (Jn 10:9, I AM the door) (Jn 10:11 I AM the good shepherd) (Jn 11:25, I AM the resurrection and life) (Jn 14:6, I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life) (Jn 15:5 I AM the vine).

Betty Pauline (Boulting) Dykes
Betty Pauline (Boulting) Dykes, 83, of Albany, Missouri, passed away October 6, 2022, at Pine View Manor in Stanberry, MO. She was born March 23, 1939, in Gentry County, Missouri, the daughter of Leo and Grace (Owens) Boulting.
On December 27, 1959, Betty was united in mar riage to Kenneth M. Dykes. He preceded her in death July 25, 1998.
Betty was also preceded in death by parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marion “Buster” and LaFayne Dykes and son-in-law, Steve Runnels.
Betty was a farm wife. She worked for Albany Head Start, Stanberry Cap Factory, Family Guid ance Center, Noma Lights and served as Gentry County Assessor for 12 years.
Betty was a member of the Darlington Baptist Church, Gentry Christian, and Albany First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Gary) Pulley; April (Brian) Willis; grandchil dren, Chantel (Roland) Wilmes; Garrett (Alyssa) Pulley; Austin Pulley; Creed (Audree) Pulley; Caitlyn (Jesse) Snead; Cierra Runnels; Jon (Alison) Runnels; Jerid (Jen) Run nels; Dylan Willis; great-grandchildren, Madison Wilmes; Kyla & Lena Pulley; Emma, Porter, and Everson Runnels; Jersie Runnels; Alexis and Hadlie Snead; Kimberly and Maggie Willis; Dominic (Valerie), Vanessa, Zachery, Wayne and Tyson Wilmes.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Albany First Baptist Church. Burial followed in Grandview Cemetery, also in Albany.
