(Proverbs 3:5-7, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.) Trust, faith, and fear in relationship with God along with His involvement in the daily happenings of creation is all but a curiosity to some yet can be explained simply. Simply, some might ask. It’s right here before you, ‘The Bible’ with all of its wisdom contained within. From the beginning God created the heavens and the earth with a desire for communion, that is relationship with His creation: (Gen 1:26, Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth). So, with that said we were created as spiritual beings inhabiting a fleshly vessel. The Bible would tell us that when the time comes to leave this vessel of flesh, (Ecc 12:7, Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.) But in the meantime, we are to place our hope in God and desire to behave, that is to live in such a way that is pleasing to him. This means that we are to shun original sin, that is personal opinion of right and wrong and acknowledge his presence in all that we do, or else. Or else what you might say? The Bible tells us: (Pr 1:7,The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.) Fear the Lord God of all creation who loved the world so much that He sent His only son to bear the penalty for sin upon the cross to whosoever would believe and turn from their wicked ways and follow Him? I was teaching from the pulpit a while back when ‘The Fear of the Lord’ came across and immediately two from the congregation called out, ‘That means respect’ not fear. Hmm? Let me explain, I have a wood stove of which I respect and am fully aware of the consequence if I don’t, I fear I would get burned.

There is no way to express the thankfulness in our hearts for all that was done for us during the short illness and passing of our dad Paul Dean. God blessed us with the kindest and most caring nursing staff as they watched over and soothed our dad. Dr. Brantly and Dr. Dias were there to lead us on the journey with sound medical treatment and advice. A difficult path was made bearable. Thank you, Ginger, for your support in navigating the unknowns.
Andy was there to help plan for our “until we meet again” service. He was so kind and willing to listen to our final requests for dad. We are so grateful that he was there throughout the public coming to pay their respects at the church. It was humbling to watch the people file in the doors to let us know how our dad had touched their lives. Most of the stories were unknown to us because he was never one to boast about deeds done.
Thank you to the Christian Church as they welcomed the service into the sanctuary. Roger “Slick” Rice and Pastor Laverne Smithson paid a loving tribute to dad that offered sincere condolences. Bryan and Megan were so good to get the music together for the service. To those who gave of their time to serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers we say, “May God bless you for the part you played in Dadʼs life.” The women of the church served us a delicious, bountiful meal with a happy heart and a joyful smile. Thank you seems such a trite thing to say, but we truly consider it one of the ways God blessed us.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 NIV
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day— and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

How to Donate
I would like to thank the following people and businesses for their support before, during, and after the PHARM Dog USA Fundraising Event. What a great community effort to make it all come to fruition! If you attended the event or sent wishes from afar, I thank you all for the continued support. Working together to accomplish the goal of building a training center in phases will be one step closer because of all of YOU!
