(John 1:1-5, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.) As the bible would tell us, ‘A word fitly spoken’ is
a beautiful thing or, in this case the creation of all that exist in the world. The Word of God describing creation in the New Testament and letting us know who, what and where. 1st of all is the who; Jesus Christ is the Word, (Genesis 1:26, Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness) Jesus Christ, in the beginning before the existence of time as God in the flesh. (John 17:5, And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.) Isn’t this awesome! In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Who? Jesus Christ is the Word, the living word that resides within every believer through His Holy Spirit and the one who we seek in prayer as Jesus would say in: (Luke 22:69, Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.”) (John 14:14, If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.) This is why when we
pray, we pray In the name of ‘Jesus’. That which was foretold from the beginning and returning to the beginning is the eternal promise witnessed by the creation of the world itself. God created this wonderful world of life, and this life is the light that shines from everyone who believes in Jesus with love, joy, peace, and compassion. Sadly though there is also darkness:
(2 Cor 4:4, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.) A fallen angel, Lucifer, Satan, the deceiver who entered this beautiful
creation causing doubt of which chaos exist today. Seek the true Word, Jesus Christ.

Our Poppa’s Player of the Game from Albany’s football game at Platte Valley was Truman Runnels. Runnels led the Warriors defense with 13 total tackles, including some big stops late in the game in short yardage situations. The Warriors still fell in a tough battle by the score of 56-38. In the softball game on Tuesday, August 21st was Quincy Parmenter. Parmenter went 1-3 with 2 runs batted in, in the 12-3 loss to Gallatin. We again thank Poppa’s Family Restaurant for sponsoring the Player of the Game on AlbanyTV, as they give each winner a free meal for their accomplishments.
