On August 29, 2022, our family was changed forever. Roger’s untimely accident has shocked all of us to the very core. Please forgive us, if we have left anyone out of our note. Know, that we appreciated everything and everyone these past few weeks.
Our family has been so proud to be a part of the emer gency response services for the last several decades. To watch the Sherriff’s officers, the Missouri Highway Patrol officers, The Grand River Ambulance Crew, Dispatchers, LifeNet Crew and Albany Fire Department all working to help at Roger’s accident was truly astonishing. We are so fortunate to have these professionals and their expertise in our community.
The outpouring of support, prayers, messages, offers of help, calls and visits made an awful time more bearable for our family. Thank you to all that prepared food and brought by meals to allow our family time to fellowship together.
We were moved to have so many attend Roger’s visitation and funeral services. The Albany First Baptist Church and Church Family helped us honor our brother, uncle, cousin and friend in such a meaningful way. Thank you to the ladies of the Albany First Baptist Church for hosting our family after Roger’s services for a luncheon. The tribute by our neighboring Wrecker Companies was so remarkable; thank you.
Roger will be missed by so many in Albany and our surrounding areas.

Dearest Community, Friends and Family,
I have learned many things on this journey that God has led me through. The Lord has shown me how important for giveness is to hearing my prayers, that without love nothing else matters, and that by Jesus’ stripes I am healed. I thank the Lord for my healing, the love He has shown me through all of you, and that I am forgiven and redeemed through Jesus’ blood.
These communities, friends and family He has surrounded me with knows how to love. I thank you so much for all your love and support over these past several months. Thank you again for all the prayers, cards, texts, and monetary dona tions. I have truly enjoyed hearing from so many loving and caring people. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I will continue to pass on the blessings that so graciously have been extended to me.
Love and God Bless, Nicki Tracy

The Island City Christian & Calvary Stanberry Churches 17:1-2, Jesus spoke these and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.) ‘The Lord’s Prayer’, yes, the Lord’s prayer here in the 17th Chapter of John. Many will say that the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ is in the 6th Chapter of Matthew as Jesus would give an example of how to pray and what to pray for but that was only an example or a sample of how to direct our prayers. Here in the 17th Chapter of John, Jesus is proclaiming an actual prayer to God the father with Himself contained within the 1st 5 verses ending with (And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.) I love how Jesus is embracing His position in the eternal as depicted with His glory before the world was. This is reminiscent of the account of creation in, (Genesis 1:26, Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness) As I ponder the existence of the eternal dimension of the spiritual, I fondly recount the lyrics of the song, ‘When the roll is called up yonder’. ‘When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more’. Jesus would go on to pray for his disciples, the ‘11’. (Jn 17:6-19, “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.) This portion of the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ is so incredibly personal as only those called by God can enter into Heaven. I am impacted by the notion that there are those who Jesus does not pray for, those who are of their father the devil, the deceiver who does everything possible to embrace confusion and refuse to Love the truth. It’s a sad sight to see so many in society opposed to the Truth in God’s Righteousness. The final portion of the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ (Jn 17:20-26, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word). Jesus Prays For You And Me.
