ALL K-12 PARENTS AND GUARDIANS – CHANGES IN REGISTRATION PROCESS!!

Student Registration for grades K-12 is once again online for the 2021-2022 school year! PARENTS and GUARDIANS of NEW STUDENTS may stop by their respective school office between 8:30 – 3:00 anytime August 16-18 to register your student or you may complete the registration through the Lumens Parent Portal at home. There are limited paper forms to fill out as everything is now converted online through the Lumens Student Information System (SIS). The portal will open for registration on Monday, August 16. You will need to know your Parent Portal Lumen login information to access online registration.

2021-2022 Missouri School Immunization Requirements

All students must present documentation of up-to-date immunization status, including month, day, and year of each immunization before attending school.

•

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) allows a 4-day grace period. Students in all grade levels may receive immunizations up to four days before the due date.

•

Required immunizations should be administered according to the current Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Schedule, including all spacing, (http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules/index.html).

•

To remain in school, students "in progress" must have an Immunization In Progress form (Imm.P.14) on file. In progress means that a child has begun the vaccine series and has an appointment for the next dose. This appointment must be kept and an updated record provided to the school. If the appointment is not kept, the child is no longer in progress and is noncompliant. (i.e., Hep B vaccine series was started but the child is not yet eligible to receive the next dose in the series.)

Religious (Imm.P.11A) and Medical (Imm.P.12) exemptions are allowed. The appropriate exemption card must be on file. Unimmunized children are subject to exclusion from school when outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases occur. .

The information provided on the application is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of determining eligibility. Applications may be submitted any time during the school year. A complete application is required as a condition of eligibility. A complete application includes: (1) household income from all sources or Food Stamp/TANF case number, (2) names of all household members, and (3) the signature and last four digits of social security number or indication of no social security number of adult household member signing the application. School officials may verify current income at any time during the school year.

Foster children may be eligible regardless of the income of the household with whom they reside.

If a family member becomes unemployed or if family size changes, the family should contact the school to file a new application. Such changes may make the children of the family eligible for these benefits.

Households will be notified of their children’s eligibility status for free or reduced price meals. If any children were not listed on the eligibility notice for families receiving SNAP, TANF or FDPIR, the household should contact the school to have free meal benefits extended to those children.

If any child(ren) was not listed on the eligibility notice, the household should contact the LEA or school to have free meal benefits extended to that child(ren).

If a parent is dissatisfied with the ruling of the determining official, they may wish to discuss the decision with the hearing official on an informal basis or he/she may make a request either orally or in writing to the Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Bob Heddinger.

Hearing procedures are outlined in the policy. A complete copy of the policy is on file in each school and in the central office where any interested party may review it.

Vast amounts of money have been spent to remove the Ten Commandments from public view. How is it that these 10 commandments have become so offensive and harmful to a society that allowing the written presentation is not to be? Jesus spoke of the greatest Commandment, (Exodus 20 / Deut. 5, You shall have no other gods before me) Why would this commandment be so pivotal to pleasing God? The definition of the word god is of that which is adored, admired, or worshiped while seeking to please or appease by something as simple as a ceremony or living every moment of life with adoration, fear and, or praise to be rewarded in this, or the life to come. Going through life with the love of God in our heart and mind desiring the best for everyone as even our enemies are loved of which may not be known as a personal enemy but who would display hatred and strife in the world. Why are the 10 commandments so hated by the world? Consequence is the answer. Consequence for the decisions made in this life that will result in punishment or reward in the life to come. Now, we are of no excuse as to consequence when the time comes, and we transition from this life to the next.

~OBITUARY ~ Robert Richard Reidlinger October 20, 1927 - July 21, 2021 Robert Richard Reidlinger was born October 20, 1927, in Conception, Missouri to Charles and Cecelia (Stoll) Reidlinger. He grew up on a farm west of Conception, Missouri.

Robert passed away July 21, 2021 at Orillas Way in Grant City, MO at the age of 93.

Robert joined the United States Army October 30, 1945.

Robert and Wynona Myers were married August 30, 1952. To this union, four children were born. They lived and farmed in the Darlington area. They were married for 52 years. Wynona passed away June 19, 2004.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bill & Charles Reidlinger and a sister, Lillian Hulen.

He is survived by his sons, Robin (Carol) Reidlinger, Albany; Ron Reidlinger, Darlington; daughters, Kathy (Dale) Andersen, Kirksville, MO; Rita (Jim) Krueger, Buffalo, MO; grandchildren, Eric (Stefanie) and Jared Reidlinger, Kaylie & Taryn Andersen, Zachary Fitzgerald, Megan (Michael) Murdock; great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Reta) Reidlinger, Clyde, MO; many nieces and nephews.

Robert was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church of Stanberry.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at St. Peters Catholic Church, Stanberry, Missouri. Burial was in the Rouse Cemetery, Darlington, MO.
