r e f s n a Tr nt s e d u St If you are a transfer student, you need to take some special steps to make your entry into the Parsons community a good one. First, you need to apply to Parsons to have your credits evaluated. Transfer credits are awarded only after an applicant has been admitted and all final transcripts have been reviewed by the admission committee. For more information about applying to Parsons as a transfer student, visit www.newschool.edu/parsons-transfers.

A maximum of 67 credits earned elsewhere can be applied toward a Parsons degree. If you have completed fewer than 24 college credits, an official high school transcript must be submitted. Transfer credit is awarded for grades of C or better in courses taken at an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association. Parsons operates on a semester credit system; credits transferred from a quarter system are subject to conversion. No credit will be awarded for life experience or for internships completed prior to enrollment at Parsons.
