Undergraduate Programs and Faculty Our programs inspire you to develop your interests in courses offered outside your major, pursue study abroad, and take minors to cultivate new skills. You can also apply using the Common Application without declaring a major, giving yourself time to explore the First-Year curriculum before choosing a major in the spring of your first year. Adult learners apply using The New School’s Online Application and have their work experience evaluated for earned credit. Degrees Apart: BA/BFA and BA-MA Options Our unique offerings include a five-year dual-degree program (a BA from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts along with a BFA from Parsons or the The New School 4

School of Jazz and Contemporary Music), which provides a solid foundation in both a creative practice and the liberal arts. Students eager to set themselves apart after college apply to join the BA/BFA program from the start of their studies. Nondegree Study: New Ways to Explore Saturday and summer courses offered in NYC and summer intensives at Parsons Paris let you explore, complement your studies, and prepare a portfolio for undergraduate admission. NEW SCHOOL RESOURCES Housing, Dining, Activities, and Health and Wellness All full-time first-year undergraduates at our NYC campus live in university housing—a built-in way to settle into campus life and community from day one. Our fully furnished residence halls are located close to classrooms and key resources, including the library, computer labs, and the 24-hour University Center.

Each hall offers 24–7 front desk security, live-in professional staff, genderinclusive housing options, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, free laundry, and shared spaces like lounges, art studios, and mailrooms. Financing Your Education The New School offers both competitive merit scholarships and need-based financial aid, which are guaranteed for the duration of your degree studies.

Support includes: • Merit scholarships: No application is required, and all students, including international students, are automatically considered.

• Need-based financial aid: U.S. citizens and residents should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov (The New School’s FAFSA ID: 002780).
