That’s why our Bachelor’s Program for Adults and Transfer Students offers you the opportunity to selfdesign your degree, giving you the freedom and flexibility to tailor your academic path to your unique goals. You’ll have access to the resources of a leading New York City university and support from a faculty advisor every step of the way. Since 1919, The New School has been a “center for discussion and instruction for mature men and women.” It began offering a bachelor’s degree program for returning veterans and other adults in the 1940s, and continues this rich tradition today.
