Drink this: Haute Cabriere's Pinot Noir Rose

Franschhoek-based winery HauteCabrière has launched its maidenPinot Noir Rosé just in time for theupcoming summer season. HauteCabrière has been specialisingin wines produced from theChardonnay and Pinot Noirgrape varietals since the brand’sinception in the early 1990s. “Weare very passionate about PinotNoir and this year’s harvest hasresulted in the creation of thisfabulous addition to the HauteCabrière portfolio,” says secondgenerationCellar Master Takuanvon Arnim about the Pinot NoirRosé. Grapes were harvestedwith full-fruit in mind, so onecan expect an elegant, dry roséon the palate, with strawberriesand rose petals on the nose. Thisrosé is best served chilled, pairsparticularly well with salmon,oysters and sushi, or simply onits own – it is the perfect additionto lunch on a glorious summerafternoon.
