NEWLY LAUNCHED - Kiddies build-it-yourself range of toy sets

Kids DIY educational project building sets are the perfect gifts for children and Vermont Sales now distributes six new building sets.

TorkCraft recently launched its Create and Learn DIY Kids Toy collection, six complete build it yourself kids’ projects. “These new DIY toy sets are certainly a far more practical and exciting gift for kids, as most fathers know kids love tools, working with wood and love to build their own creations,” said Ryan Hunt Sales and marketing director Tork Craft and Vermont Sales. These wooden building kits let the kids explore the world of engineering by piecing together wooden toys that can actually move and work, working with real tools. As kids assemble their toys, they’ll develop an understanding of science, technology, engineering, arts and maths. Builders can start by assembling any of the six TorkCraft toy models available with real parts, wheels etc and applying the stickers in each kit or they have the option to paint their finished model,” said Hunt. The first TorkCraft toy collection includes a birdhouse, picture frame, sportscar, aeroplane, train, and pirate ship. Each DIY kit includes a full list of what’s included in the kit, instructions, all the wood material, nails and the sticker set. Plus, a list of what tools are required such as a hammer, safety glasses, tape measure and hobby paint which is optional.

The TorkCraft team created a colourful free-standing display unit for the introduction of these new products. The unit stands chest high with four rows of shelves incorporating eight sections of product per shelf and four toy bubble packs per compartment. A free display is included to retailers who order full sets – T & C apply.

All six new model sets are bubble packed to fit the free-standing display unit. The toy sets are recommended for kids over the age of five years.
