In contrast, the space-age style of the 1960s still reverberates in the preserved interiors of Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav Theater (3) by Dušan Boháč, Ján Gallo, Boris Kančev, Štefan Lukačovič, Ivan Slameň, and Ferdinand Zbuško. The main lobby is dominated by a circular bar with organically shaped ceiling lights. But Slovak postmodernism did not come fully into its own until Zichy Palace (4), whose interior was completed in 1990, after the Velvet Revolution. The group of architects led by Rastislav Janák received the Dušan Jurkovič Award for their original redevelopment project in 1991.
