from the editor Happy New Year! How many resolutions have you made for 2013? And how many do you anticipate breaking in the fi rst week?! Willpower might be at a particularly low ebb in these draining winter months, but the festivities seem to give us fresh focus as we take the chance to pause and think about what’s actually important to us. At iBelieve, we’re convinced that faith is what life is all about. This month, a couple of our fellow believers who take that same approach tell us what faith means to them. Aled Jones explains why he’s involved with Songs of Praise, and talks about the wider significance of his faith, and American country superstar Carrie Underwood informs us of what’s really important underneath all the trappings that come with fame. What’s fascinating about faith is that it’s something which has incredible power to unite us.
