SYNOPSIS Keith Barker’s lyrical, magical tale of loss and survival evokes the stories of the Highway of Tears in BC. “Beautifully moving, thought provoking and up-lifting.�

Haunted by the disappearance of her sister, Denise desperately seeks to find answers to Michelle's disappearance. As she and her husband Daniel grapple with the loss, Denise is visited by Michelle in a series of visions that will help her to find the answers she is looking for.

In confronting the pervasive reality of missing women in Canada, we are also faced with the legacy of loss endured by families, friends and community.

LOGISTICS Cast size: 3 Crew size: 2 Duration: 75 minutes Set: The set is designed to adapt, consisting of a single portable ‘bench’ and fabric masking Lighting and sound cues are extant. The design incorporates projections from a single static gridmounted projector.

It is our preference to play in studio theatres with a capacity no larger than 200 in order to preserve the intimate feeling evoked by the narrative.

Outreach: The company actively reaches out into various communities through promotions and arts workshops to create networks, alliances, receptive audiences for our own work and intercultural/ interdisciplinary work in general.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT Keith Barker is a MĂŠtis artist from Northwestern Ontario. A graduate of the George Brown Theatre School, he is the former Artistic Associate at Native Earth Performing Arts.
