Dare To Be The Best "Rokeby was the school I needed to become what I am today. After leaving Italy for London in 2018, I was warmly welcomed by the faculty and community at Rokeby, who offered extensive support to assist a student like myself in adjusting to the significant cultural differences between the two countries. Time passed quickly, but the memories seem to span a much longer period. In just a few months, I made lifelong friends, met teachers who were genuinely enthusiastic about their work, and involved myself in a wide range of activities. I'll never forget spending my Saturdays in the school gym and on the football pitch, going on an exhilarating five-day trip to Wales, joining the table tennis team for frantic tournaments, and participating in a variety of other clubs—all while studying for my GCSEs with some of the most motivated people I've ever met. The diverse range of GCSE options at Rokeby opened many doors for me and drew interest from a variety of sources, including Ivy League admissions officers. Achieving high marks in 15 subjects—14 of them A*s—demonstrates Rokeby's exceptional educational support, which makes such accomplishments possible. Rokeby's emphasis on the five values can be seen not only in the curriculum, but also in the faculty and student body. In retrospect, Rokeby was more of a socialinclusive learning environment than an academic memory, allowing me to grow as a person in all aspects of life." Hamed Latif has been accepted to the Sutton Trust US Programme, a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore what studying in the US is like. It will give a taste of what it's like being an international student in the US. It's a fully-funded programme so all costs (including travel, residential events, accommodation and food) are covered.
