Mr.Shanahan had a few words of encouragement for Zoe and Chloe as well.
They learnt about some of the past events and put them on the a timeline.
After, they played a parachute game to learn about India, Nigeria, Canada, New Zealand and Jamaica (some of countries competing in this year’s games.
They even tried some of the sports with Minister for Children Will Quince and Secretary of State for Sport Nigel Huddleston!
Nigel Huddleston and Suwaydah (6H) listen intently to the instructions.
Will Quince talks tactics with two of Team Selwyn’s finest William (5BA) and Taim (6H)
Everyone who attended did us proud and learnt a lot about the up and coming Commonwealth games.
