Dyslexia Corner

Children with dyslexia can face difficulties with their reading in particular with fluency, accuracy and speed. This can present itself by pupils repeating lines they have read or losing their place whilst reading. Also there is a tendency for visual stress;causing tiredness and sore eyes. In order to support pupils, a reading ruler with different colours can help support pupils reading and can be used in exams and for tests. If you think your child would benefit from one of these please contact the inclusion department to let them know.
