The EEPG is currently running a number of projects around the school, details of the projects can be found on its Instagram page (eastleaecoprojectsgroup). Have a look for yourself but are some of the highlights.
These projects are in different stages but Project 1 (Solar film on the windows) has now been completed after research, pitching to the Headteacher and the governors and installing test samples across the school.
In addition, 3 members of our group - Ricy, Tina and Sam, have got through to the final of the Earth Echo Project for a chance to win £5,000 - they have currently produced a film and project around increasing the biodiversity of the school field.

Library Reminder for Year 11 Students
Currently, a lot of Y11 students have overdue library books. All students with books on loan will have received email reminders to return their books to the library before they leave.
Can you please remind your son/daughter to return their library books as soon as they finish their exams?

TFL Consultation
TFL want to hear your views about changes they are proposing to bus route 241. They are proposing to extend the service from Stratford City Bus Station to Here East. The proposals are designed to improve the way buses serve Here East and Stratford Waterfront, Sweetwater and East Wick developments, as well as providing new direct links to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) from various parts of Newham including the Royal Docks, Custom House and Plaistow.
Summary of proposals
· Extend the 241 bus route from Stratford City Bus Station to Here East, to runvia Montfichet Road, Pool Street, Carpenters Road, Sweetwater Place, Bassett Lane, Marshgate Lane, Waterden Road and terminate at Lesney Avenue for Here East
· Improve connectivity between Stratford City Bus Station and local destinations in the QEOP and reduce the need to interchange with routes 339 or 388
· Create new journey opportunities to be able to get to and from places like Stratford Waterfront, Sweetwater, East Wick developments as well as Here East, using the bus
· Provide new direct links to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from various parts of Newham including the Royal Docks, Custom House and Plaistow
