Year 7 Parents evening
This week we welcomed in our Year 7 families to Parents' Evening. We encourage all families to take the time to attend this evening due to the valuable insights into education gained. It was fantastic to see so many positive conversations happening around the room, a testament to the brilliant start our Year 7 students have made to their secondary education. A special thank you to our catering team who made sure our families were well-fueled with a taster menu of our school lunches. We look forward to seeing more families into the school soon.

Eastlea’s Environmental Project Group
Our EEPG have been busy designing a green wall made of recycled materials to plant wildflowers. They have submitted a proposal for the first part of the scheme to Earth Echo International and are also talking with Trees for Cities to plan out the second part of the scheme. More information on the scheme can be found here on X.

Parent Coffee Morning Progress and Achievement
On Tuesday we held a successful parent coffee morning at Eastlea, which was visited by parents of all years. Ms Anderson (Assistant Headteacher - Achievement) explained progress reports for KS3 and KS4 students at Eastlea and how we assess children throughout the year. Dates for the End of Year exams were shared (Year 7 - Year 10) followed by ideas about successful revision strategies at home and how to support your child at school. In the end parents left with a multitude of information.
