Last Day of Summer Term

On Wednesday 27th March, musicians from Eastlea Music Department put on their Spring Concert. There were many musical highlights including the ever-growing Eastlea Rising Stars, the fantastic E-Vocal Collective, the now-legendary Hot Wires, Guitar Ensemble, String Ensemble, and much more! There was even an immersive music experience at the end where the audience were invited to join in the menacing rhythm of Mars from Holst's The Planet Suite, while musicians played their part all around the theatre amongst the audience. Ms Brown and Mr Haynes were so proud of every student who took part. A video can be seen of highlights of the concert HERE.

From April onwards, the following procedure will be implemented regarding late books.

Eastlea Book Fair: Mon 15th April – Wed 24th April 2024

I am thrilled to announce that Eastlea school will be having a Book Fair straight after the Easter Holidays. The book fair will take place from Monday 15th April until Wednesday 24th April in the library. All students should have received a brochure showing a sample of some of the books they can buy from the fair. During the Book Fair, students will have the chance to browse and select books that they are interested in. They will be given a wish form which they can complete and take home to show you. You will be able to make payments in three different ways, online via the website or using the QR code on the brochure, paying and printing the Gift vouchers which can be used instead of cash, and card payments in school via the Zettle machine. A portion of the Book Fair will go towards purchasing new books and resources for our school library, thus benefiting our students

To pay online for books visit: https://bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/pay/1343775If you're worried about students losing cash, why not give them the Book Fair Gift Vouchers! Once a purchase has been made, you will receive the voucher in an email which can be printed and used in the book fair– it’s much safer to carry than cash!
